Re: Private memory takes all 24 GB allocated: Guest barely operating system uses 3 GB.

I have setup a reserve GB 12, so I would understand if the memory consumed was 12 GB, but it is not, is 24 GB. It will be easier to explain with a few screenshot:

That's what I see in Vsphere:

From-Vsphere.JPG

And that's what I see in the guest OS (1.98 GB of memory used) Task Manager:

From-OS.JPG

I tried to put a limit to 12 GB, but when I do, private memory go to 12 GB, and the other half of the allocated memory is ball!

It seems that VMware really think that my VM uses all of its allocated memory.

I saw someone with the same problem: https://communities.vmware.com/thread/473652 but I did not understand what was his solution.

Thank you. (And sorry if I made a few mistakes of writing, English is not my native language)

It's pretty simple:

When Windows starts, it affects your memory pages. For this reason to vSphere that looks that all pages are used, it is what you are witnesses. Even when they do nothing and are all pages of "zero", it appears as "consumed", unfortunately, in the user interface

  • How findout if all the partitions have been deleted and now a laptop that has Windows 8 operating system using Windows Vista with a shell IE 9?

I bought a laptop broken at a friend's House. It is not used for the operating system windows 8 and wanted to use the Windows Vista operating system. Son of friends put in place this laptop for it, which was new when she bought in a retail store. Is there a way I can find out whether all the partitions have been deleted during the installation of Vista? I still see window 8 logo that I sign as an administrator user on this laptop.

When I log on this computer, the previous owner of the screen name is the only one that appears. I go in Control Panel, click Add another account, then I see the screen name I posted. I could use the WiFi from my PC at home that Win 7 OS.

When I started working with the laptop, I was able to bring control of the camera. Now I thought that the version that I use does not allow this operation. Be happy with any Positive help with my problems.

Multibooting requires separate partitions on the hard drive of your computer for each operating system.  To create and format a partition, see create and format a hard disk partition.

To check if a dual boot system in place, start > Type msconfig

    Click on the Startup tab

I think that Windows 8 has the following partitions

400 MB Partition Recovery (contains recovery information dated from before my upgrade)

    • 300 MB EFI System Partition
    • 350 MB Partition Recovery (contains information for recovery of my upgrade)
    • 17 GB Partition Recovery
    • 220 GB of Partition primary

Windows Vista has drive C and drive D

Done reformatting refers to a hard disk or partition that already has been formatted or that contains data on it. Reformatting a disk deletes all the data on the disk.

    Hello

If you use the disk recovery Toshiba, all data will be erased on the HARD drive.

Before the start of the resettlement, the HARD drive will be formatted. Malicious software and other software will be deleted.

So you n t need another drive or another program to erase the HARD drive.

Try it and you will see that it works. But first, back up your data.

  • I have windows xp, can I delete it all and have Mozilla onley as operating system

Microsoft is about to stop support of XP. Can I remove IE and XP operating system and get the full capacity of Mozilla?

    Hello ralphmcgraw, CERTAINLY NOT.

Do NOT remove IE from xp, it necessary for some processes, including updates, also, the functionality Windows etc.

Firefox is a web browser not an operating system (OS), so DO NOT remove your xp OS.

the best is to upgrade your operating system to win 8 at a later date. Firefox works with xp for a least 2 versions more (29 Australis) and a little more. We are now in 27 version, you can Update to 27 also.

I'm not surprised by the response of Kingston.  The issue of density memory was mentioned message #2.

Try a few other manufacturers of memory and see if you can get the own memory DIMMs.

    Hey Buddy

The same problem here. :( A universal solution is unknown to me but what I do is from the Task Manager. When svchost shows more than 90% of its use I simply stop this stupid process. After having done that, I can use my laptop without any problem and it will not happen again.

After restarting the laptop, the same thing happens again. I checked some other forums but never found no reasonable explanation how manage this stupid question.

    Hello Netzoo,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Community!

First place to check would be the place that the program saves by default. You can test it by importing a video (maybe a few seconds of blank film), then click on the registration option. That first record appears in the Save dialog box is where the program normally / last saved a file. Each program is different, but generally unless the project is recorded information is stored in a .tmp (temporary) format and then cleaned when the program stops. You can clean any .tmp among other files using Disk Cleanup:

    ·         Click Start

    ·         Click on all programs

    ·         Click on Accessories

    ·         Click Disk Cleanup

    ·         Check the boxes for the files you want to clean

    ·         Click OK

Hope that helps, I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Color LaserJet MFP M277dw Pro: M277DW error memory Supply - all cartridges

I just added a new MacBook Air to my network and at the same time moved my HP printer across the desk.  Everything worked fine for months (with HP toners not; there are a lot of ink remaining in each). After reconnection and restart the printer it came with a "memory error power" for all four cartridges.  Standard deletion/relocation, restarting, etc. does nothing to restore the "error".  No drops, bangs or problems occurred when reinstalling the printer - just the new error.

    Firmware is 20160331

This error seems to be a known issue, but I can't find that HP is addressing it.  Can someone point me to a solution?

Until someone suggests, buy all new HP to replace toners functional 3rd party toner is not an option for me.

I saw the solution on the collection of similar problems.  However, he did point me in a direction that has worked for me.

Question: The question seems likely to be linked to extinguish a bad update from HP.

General solution: previous people solved this problem by downgrading the firmware on the printer.  HP support shows that the firmware current (20160331) as an option for my Mac with OS 10.11.

My Solution: False CV telling them I have an old operating system (OS 10.10).  This allowed me to access 20150716 the printer firmware version on their site.  I then did the printer had the "downgrade to allow" selected in the "system configuration" and downgraded the firmware.  This corrects the problem.

Scan your PC for malware. Update your AV / AM program and do a full scan. If all goes well, none of your contacts opened the message and infected their PC, too.
