It is no longer available via adobe and if buy you it to someone else, that you will probably have problems running.  I think that it is compatible with win 98 but I don't know if it's available for you using compatibility mode.

I am running Win 7 installed when you purchased the computer. I ran Setup several times. I miss watching TV on my computer, please help

'weak' would indicate that your internet provider or your internet connection is slow.

  • I can't log in as an administrator in my windows 7 PC with 32-bit operating system. What can I do?

I put my password to log on as an administrator.  When I restrart the computer and try to log in it asked me to change the password to connect. I did it. When I try to getback to my computer with the new password, it says it's a mistake. Now, I can not connect as an administrator. What can I do? And who is the administrator of a computer that I own. I'm puzzled. Your help please

I put my password to log on as an administrator.

I don't understand what you mean with this statement - please explain.

To recover from all that you have done, you can follow these steps:
    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before you did what you did.
    8. Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.
  • Pavilion a1250n: cannot use 4 GB of memory on 64-bit operating system

I resurrected this PC to give to my grandson, so I added 2 GB more memory.

But when he starts, he sees only 3 GB.

The configuration of the BIOS shows all 4 sticks of 1 GB.

I ran the test memory Windows startup, and it shows all 4 GB and it extracted all OK.

But, the properties of PC watch 4GB installed, 2.75 GB usable.

I confirmed that Max Memory has been disabled in the MSCONFIG startup parameters.

Googling has provided advice to set up activate Memory Remap in BIOS - but there is no such setting, in fact, there are NO parameters associated with the memory in the BIOS.

I am running the latest version of the BIOS - there is no update.

I use an add-in video card GeForce and hoped there will be a setting in the BIOS to avoid system memory allocated to the integrated video chipset, but only focus on the video entry is to choose what video is the main, and I already defined on PCI - E.

I am at one loss as to what else to do...

    Hello:

What you see is probably normal for a PC with an AMD chipset this old.

I know for a fact that on a desktop computer Intel, you must run with a chipset 965 or newer which takes in charge of 8 GB of memory or more, so that Windows to "see and use" 4 GB of physical memory.

These PC that can support 4 GB memory shows the same amount of memory usable net as a 32-bit operating system.

There is nothing you can do about it.

I guess the same goes for AMD platforms... you probably have a PC with a chipset that can take over 8 GB or more memory on order for Windows to "see and use" all of the 4 GB of physical memory.

  • excelreportdemo project link error with CVI2010 on windows 7, 64-bit operating system

I try to run the project for excelreportdemo in CVI2010 on windows 7, 64-bit operating system. I have the Excel2013 installed as well. I chose the build configuration release or debug for 32 bits of the system in order to be compatible to the test for the production platform.

However, I get errors in link project 12 as follows:

I found a previous discussion in 2007. Unfortunately, it did not help for the same problem on my new machine and CVI2010. Could someone give me help on that.

    Thank you!

    Yuwei

I get it worked after that I removed the excelreport.fp in the Menu library customize. The excelreport.fp has been added to the Menu library customize to my other work on the project, which, but had similar problems. It seems CVI is getting better and better, so that you don't need extras like it was before. Do not add reduntant libs.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes to the system before the show?

2 are. what file download you referring?

    3. have you deleted the file using option DEL or SHIFT DEL?

    Method:

If you have downloaded the file with success and deleted, I suggest you to check if the files are in the trash and check if it helps.

If you are not able to find the files in the Recycle Bin, you can use all of the third party tools and check if you can recover the files.

  • Update Windows 7 starter edition to the 32-bit operating system to 64-bit?

    Hello people of the Internet,.

I got a netbook for two years now and it came with Windows 7 starter.
I like making videos in my spare time and require better editing in Windows Movie Maker software. However, obviously my operating system cannot manage a software proffesional like Premiere Pro or FinalCut etc so I tried to get a 64-bit operating system.
Is this possible? I checked on my performance and Information Tools, and it said that my netbook is capable of a 64-bit operating system. Someone did he do and recommend? Or is it not plausible at all?
All tips are welcome, I would rather you smart people tell me that it is rather than risk and regret. Thank you for your time.
    -Emi

To be honest, I wouldn't consider running under Windows 7 64-bit on a system originally shipped with Windows 7 Starter. A Netbook is just for the weak to run Adobe Premier. (By the way, Final Cut Pro doesn't work on Intel based Macintosh under OS X, it is not compatible with Windows).

You need a powerful computer or laptop desktop replacement.

Personally, I use Adobe Creative Suite 6 on HP's EliteBook with Ivy Bridge generation processor 3, NVidia Quadro 2 GB of vRAM, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, USB 3.0 Super Speed and sometimes he struggles.

Now, imagine a Netbook designed for light web browsing, word processing and e-mail?

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

  • I just bought a new computer.it has windows 7 64 bit operating system, it is good with the exception of my call of duty games running, they used to run very well on my windows vista 32 bit system, what is the problem?

There are video games that are compatible with windows 7 64 bit operating systems?

    Hello Peter.

Yes almost all games in 10 years works perfectly on 64-bit Windows.  What Call of Duty games are you having problems with?  If the first two, you might have to enter the video drivers for your graphics card/computer manufacturer as the first two required OpenGL which is not included with the drivers that Windows uses by default (this has been the case since at least Windows XP).

  • downloaded updates for 64-bit os when I have the 32-bit operating system

About 2 months ago, I downloaded some updates for vista 64-bit os when I use the 32-bit operating system and he did something, I believe, my registry. Now I have problems with my updates. Do you have any solutions?

    Hi batoutaaustin22,

Thank you for using answers Forum.

I suggest using the System File Checker to search for 64-bit updates files were damaged.

    The System File Checker tool

To determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows Vista, run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search .

2 right-click cmd in the programs list and then click run as administrator .

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

    3. at the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

Please let us know if that helps.

  • Is my Windows XP FEATURES a 64-bit or a 32-bit operating system?

How can I determine whether my Windows XP Professional Edition is a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system.  The year is 2002 and it is run on an IBM ThinkPad T60.

Windows XP if you have Windows XP, there are two ways to determine if you are running 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.

    1. Click Startand then click run.
    2. Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
    3. Click the general tab. The operating system is displayed as follows:
      • For a 64 - bit operating system version: Windows XP Professional x 64 Edition Version appears under System.
      • For a 32-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional Version appears under System.

Note is a placeholder for a year.

    1. Click Startand then click run.
    2. Type winmsd.exe, and then click OK.
    3. When System summary is selected in the navigation pane, search for processor under item in the details pane. Note the value.
      • If the value that corresponds to processor starts with x 86, the computer is running a 32-bit version of Windows.
      • If the value that corresponds to processor starts with ia64 or AMD64, the computer is running a 64-bit version of Windows.
