received an email marked 'personal message' open and he sent a "private message" to all my contacts!
Just got an email 'personal message' marked his opening and he sent a "private message" to all my contacts! What should I do?
Scan your PC for malware. Update your AV / AM program and do a full scan. If all goes well, none of your contacts opened the message and infected their PC, too.

Hello Sir,
I have a problem with one of my SBS Exchange 2003 servers.
At first, I was getting a lot of 3008 errors for a non-delivery report with a status code of 5.0.0 was generated for recipient rfc822; address email is removed from the privacy * all these repeated error messages from the event log, SMTP and Exchange Routing service...
I looked around and discovered more than 10000 .eml in my x:\program files\exchsrv\mailroot\queue folder. At first, I thought that my server or one of my workstations was compromised, but all workstations have local antiviral software (symantec endpoint protection), my server software also has antiviral and I have a mail server antivirus (symantec endpoint protection). I scanned all of the computers on the network and even tried almost all of them closing to see if new entries have been created in the queue.
Unfortunately, more than entries kept by appearing so I kept looking. By opening one of the .eml, I discovered my own responsibility that I attach to outgoing emails if I have my server acted as a mail relay. I checked for this and I have been clean. I kept searching in the .eml and discovered different origins IPs of the Internet. Am I right to assume that my mail server is BOMBED or attacked with emails with false return addresses and my mail server sends return NDR for spammers/compromised machines on the net? I tried to stop the exchange services and tried to rename the vsi file 1 to something else as one of the suggested MSKB, but the file was protected. How can I stop this, it's slowing down my mail server and fill out my HD. I can't block the IP to shippers because it comes from everywhere. Help! There are about 2 to 5 new .eml created every minute!
TKS and best regards,
LT

Received an email from myself that I've not sent!
I received an email in my spam from my own email address - but I did not send the message!
It happened only once and I have loaded about 3 pieces of a strain of the virus on my computer (Dell Dimension 8300) to clean it out. It was months ago and now reappeared barely (I was monitoring it).
I have since run the adaware and spybot, AVG on the PC to delete, but I need to know if I should just delete this email address? -What is the email address that has been compromised or my PC? And how avoid that my email hijacked like that? Once that my email has been hacked it right? Should I just create a new one?
AdAware seemed to get something in my documents and settings (rather than General cookies) and who was kidnapped, but I want to know how it got there because I have all these pieces of virus on anyway?
PS - no one I know (in my AddressBook) received the same email from me.
Is it a coincidence that I moved my PC/internet connection on the same day and had bad plug or do any e-mail address that I put to the top of my machine, it will be hijackable? I have to get my PC cleaned by a professional? Or use virus checkers enough?
PS - I have too many virus checkers on anyway? someone once said that too many is just as bad as anything?
I know there are a lot of questions here - grateful for any help, thank you

I need to speak with someone from undeliverable emails that I did not create. I can be reached at +++ * +++ * +++
Change the telephone number of the public to prevent the search bots to find.
There is no phone support and display of your phone number is not a good idea. If you are too careless with your e-mail it is not surprising that a spammer has copied and it uses the return address of the Junk they send.
There is nothing you can do to stop them now. They'll get bored with you soon and move to a new address borrowed. They probably don't use your real account, just the address. If they have been sent from your account messages would be in your "sent" folder.
Be more protective of your personal information and stop posting in a public forum. -
A Trojan virus attached to an e-mail that I never opened, but it was in my window, that I scrolled my emails as well as the other emails. I don't remember to open it, but if I did I would NEVER open an attachment, not even people I know, unless I'm expecting something! In any case, my virus scanner caught, but he did nothing on this subject. I ended up finding the folder named 'Profile' which contained the virus. I am sure of that. I removed it, because I could not disinfect or he quarantine a reason any. He has apparently removed my Thunderbird profile, so I can't access my email account when I click on the shortcut for the Office Thunderbird on my Windows screen. Please help. I don't know what to do, but I need to access my emails for invoices, etc..
Thank you
Johnbut it was in my window, that I scrolled my emails
What does that mean?
My caught virus scanner
Your "virus scanner" is not supposed to analyze your file for Thunderbird profiles in the first place.
I deleted it
Not a smart move. With the profile you deleted also all your accounts and mail.
I removed it, because I could not disinfect or quarantine it
There is no need of this. A malicious attachment will no damage to your computer as long as you don't try to open or run it.
I don't know what to do
You still have the file deleted in the trash? You can try to login to your account via webmail and check if there are still messages on the server.
For the future, create backups of your profile on a regular basis folder.
