  Try:

  Reset the BIOS to its default settings.
  VAP to uninstall and install the latest version from the Toshiba site.

  PS I think you can change the lighting in the BIOS, have you checked this setting?

• SENTINEL HASP KEYS 3.25 WORKS ONLY WITH WINDOWS 7

  I lived several of these posts here about the hasp and windows keys 7 and I tried many suggested fixes, but nothing works. I installed the software using Windows XP Mode in Virtual PC, I've updated, uninstalled drivers, reinstalled with and without the hasp key inserted. I use the Sigmanest V4, Mastercam9, and Mastercam10 software. All three of these programs worked fine with Windows XP service Pack 3. I did everything that I mentioned above and some of which you try to run the software in compatibility mode. Nothing I try works, Sigmanest software seems like it is recognizing the hasp key because it will be open, but it will not open in demo mode. The two programs Mastercam do not even recognize the hasp key. They open up and say that there is no present hasp key, then close. After years that Windows 7 has been out someone got a solution for this. Maybe they have, but I can't?

  just received my spectrum today and I can't for the life of me find a way to get work FN key I checked on the website of some kind of driver for him but there is none so I guess integrated sound in bios but it's not like any bios I've ever seen is there a guru who can help?

  Today, I've changed Outlook IMAP instead of POP3 to access my mail from time warner.    I set up the new e-mail, left my messages from the account to the imap account pop3 and mail on the iPhone now syncs with Outlook exactly as I expect.

  However, I sync my calendar outlook and contacts through the Icloud.  Now, when I add a new event calendar or contacts on outlook, it syncs just fine on my iPhone.  However, when I add/remove events from the calendar or contacts on my iPhone it does not sync with Outlook upward.

  I hunted around and found that no help on this - so any help on what I need to change to get the iPhone for calendar updates and synchronization to Outlook contacts would be appreciated.

  Really interesting, I had the same problem a few days ago on my Qosmio F50 I tried many things and at the end of the story, I had to reinstall Windows because an application or a Windows Update wasn't compatible with the software that controls the light buttons you want to say

  In any case, I think in your case it of the same. After you have disabled/deleted some stuff and installed the updates/applications, only the buttons don't work anymore.

  First of all I have to say it is important that you disable t n programs all services of Toshiba or startup in msconfig. This can affect the illumination function buttons and FN keys so check cela and allow all the stuff from Toshiba.

  If it doesn't work after that you should try to reinstall the package of value added. This package contains the software and drivers of these keys. You must follow my workaround solution:
  1. download the latest PPV for your F50 on the Toshiba site
  2. go in Control Panel > Add/Remove programs. Find the Toshiba value added package and remove it
  3. restart the laptop
  4. download and install CCleaner. This cool cleans up the registry of Windows and system files. He should find some registry keys of Toshiba you should remove with CCleaner.
  5 reboot the laptop
  6. install the PPV that you already downloaded
  7 restart once again
