  If your laptop uses Nvidia Optimus (Intel + Nvidia GPU), try to download and reinstall the Intel HD graphics driver on the following link.

  What cell phone do you have exactly? And did you use the correct version of the BIOS?
  Have you tried to set the BIOS to default settings?

  I updated the BIOS of my TP T410 (2522), German keyboard, to 1.45. After the update, both CTRL keys don't work anymore. Ditto for the AltGr key. When I switch to CTRL FN in the FN key BIOS - as supposed - works like the CTRL key. But when I turn off again the FN returns to his good funtion and CTRL does not work.

  When I connect an external keyboard via USB it works perfectly.

  Any suggestions how get the CTRL key works again?

  turns out be a hardware fault. Swapped keyboard and it works again.

  a couple of months ago with windows 8, which became 8.1 with w. update, I bought PC toshiba laptop SATELLITE P50-A-144.
  Since then, fn + z key does not work, it says that light keyboard turns off whenver I press it.

  How could I solve this problem? It's my OCD tingle.

  Strange. Something like that shouldn't happen. I updated my machine, but everything works fine.

  I don't know if this will help, but try to reinstall the driver of Toshiba system and function key utility Toshiba.

  I use (U920T satellite) and recently updated my Windows 10 Tablet
  but after that, the function keys, volume, brightness, key FN and even the backlight does not work anymore!

  I tried to restore the system and update the driver software but nothing has worked...

  I use these keyboard shortcuts all the time and now it's really hard without them!

  What is the problem? What should I do?

  The problem is that U920T satellite is not listed as Win 10 support unit and, therefore, drivers earn 10 Toshiba and software that controls the FN keys is not released.
  But as far as I know using the FN keys, system of Toshiba and the Support of Flash Card Utility driver must be installed.

  For all Toshiba units win 10 supported, the drivers can be downloaded from this page:

  Maybe you can try the drivers released for other models of portable Win 10 supported...
  I'm not sure if the software will be compatible with your model of U920T, but its certainly worth a try...

• Satellite A100 - 192 (PSAA9E) FN + F8 key does not work after update driver BT

  I have just download the update of "blt-mon-20071009150856" Bluetooth driver and install the driver "BtMon2Inst_v212" on my A100 - 192 (PSAA9E). After installing the driver 'Toshiba Bluetooth 4' BT works very well.

  BUT I can't use wireless (FN + F8) key to switch between Bluetooth and the wireless device. I can disable/enable them from the control panel or the utility ConfigFree.

  No idea how to bring back the FN key?

  You must download this tool from Toshiba page and reinstall it on the XP operating system running.

  I've decided to update my BIOS on my laptop Acer E5 511 and afer that my touchpad lost the abilitiy to work on mutlitouch gestures.

  I can't scroll, zoom, or do the right-click by pressing with two fingers at the same time.

  I tried isntaling the touchpad on the official drivers, restarted my laptop a few times but nothing helped.

  If someone had the same problem and found the solution please share, I got to use for functions multitouch now I feel diseabled whenever I use the touchpad just for the cousor Thierry.

  Found the soltion targeting minutes after this announcement.

  You must go to your BIOS or UEFI py parameters pressing and holding you key F2 while the laptop is turned on.

  Here you find touchpad and select 'Advanced Mode', then simply save the changes, and after restarting the laptop the multitouch features will return.

  I posted here yesterday on my computer because I have updated the Bios program with the update of the BIOS of 2007 and after that my internet no longer works.   The advice I've gotten is update Broadcom driver wireless as well as I did yesterday but the same result.    I was told also that if all things go wrong can I downgarde my Bios program that imposible because the older version on my computer model page is actually installed now on my computer.  I have run out of idea already of what else could be done please help.    Sometimes wireless connection to connect to the router but often difficult and if I am connected I can't go to the internet and to connect to the Local network I just get limited connectivity.

  You laptop has Intel/Nvidia switchable graphics and search RTA the screenshot, it does not resemble the driver Intel is installed.

  Try the following.

  Download driver Intel HD Graphics on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

  http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72501-73000/sp72810.exe

  Once complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver from the link below.

  http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72001-72500/sp72043.exe

  When it's over, don't reboot not the laptop that you are prompted, rather open your download folder, right-click on the Intel HD Graphics package and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.

  Once this done, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

  The Intel HD graphics card appears under the category of display cards in Device Manager or a Standard VGA adapter is displayed.

  Normally when the brightness of the screen is stuck on max and you cannot change it,'re missing you the driver from the chipset, the graphics driver, or both.

  Make sure that you have installed the Intel chipset installation and restart utility as well as the Intel HD graphics driver.
