  I installed a card Atheros Wifi Mini-PCI (marked Toshiba, model AR5004G) in my Satellite Pro A40. Pilots of the section of downloads on the A40 Toshiba support site installed fine, and everything seemed to work. But the card could not find my wifi network at home (I rigged the antennas to test, before taking the trouble to install in laptop).

  Atheros client reported that the radio has been turned off and gave the solution like him allowing the use of the customer. But the enable and disable options are grayed out outside in the client. I took a peek in the bios of the A40 (latest version 1.50) and there is no option to turn on the radio. The FN + F8 key on the keyboard (which has a small icon of wifi on him) has also not made any difference.

  To check that it wasn't the card, I have two-way autour cards from my other laptop. The new PCI card has worked well in the Acer while the former, one of the Acer is also off in Satellite Pro.

  Does anyone have an idea on how to get the Sat Pro to switch on the map?

  I checked the specifications Satellite Pro A40 and it seems that the WLan functionality is not available on this laptop.
  Is - this laptop has a WLan switch on/off switch on the side of the laptop?

  If this isn't the case, you cannot activate the antenna and so you cannot receive any signal!
  It seems that you must use an external USB WiFi key.

  The express card slot is a new standard and the old PCMCIA cards are not compatible with this slot machine.

  I understand that you have installed the driver of Bata and does not work properly.

  HP recommends you to use the driver on your HP product page. Drivers have been tested with your hardware by HP.

  You can get this error because it is a driver of Bata.

  You good to go. But check that your PC can accommodate a 10.5 inch graphics card. HP requires sometimes manufacturers change the specification of the graphics cards so that they adapt and work in the towers of HP.  A stock 390 is nearly 11 inches in length.

  Make sure you completely uninstall the graphics drivers AMD and the software before installing the 1080. Also disable secure boot and turn on the old boot in the BIOS. I am running a 970 on Win 7 Pro and the turn off the quick start.

  The 1080 is slightly shorter in length compared to the 390 and requires less or equivalent to run power.

  You have a 600 Watt power supply and that your PC has a UEFI BIOS.

  I also want to install a 1080 in a 810-150se desire.

  I'm waiting for EVGA release this map. It requires 215 Watts. Other 1080's require only 180 watts.

  Hello.  First post.

  I have a TC-120 Acer desktop computer, it works fine, but as I wanted to play a new generation of games I tried to install a graphics card, the Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1 GB.

  When I have it insert into my PCI e slot I have no release the map or graph on the PC.  The turn came with a power supply to about 240 ~-300 W, I upgraded to a POWER 600 W PSU, but still the new GPU will give no output.

  The bios does not appear to include all the options of GPU or PCIe cards.

  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you people of Acer.

  Your graphics card seems to be a riser.  Your BIOS is UEFI.  My advice would be to buy a UEFI graphics like gtx 750 or 950 gtx, but you will need to do some measure and research to see what card will fit as they come in different sizes. Some may be too big and not suited.

  To get your card HD 6450 inherited to work, some people have had success is UEFI/BIOS settings and disabling secure boot and activating "launch MSC always."  But do not know if it will work in your case.  And there are obviously some added security risk when you disable secure boot.

  Your computer works best with a new UEFI graphics card.

  It is also possible that you may need to update your BIOS. I'm not sure.

  Edit: I do not work for Acer and I don't have your computer model and I do not know what operating system you have.

After I discovered that 'Windows Update' did not help, when I went to 'Printers and devices' on my computer, I noticed that an "unknown device" was loaded with my other stuff. • Unable to connect to the router with Win 7

  I can't connect to my router with os Win 7. I have XP & Vista partitions on the same machine without any problem. Keeps giving me the default ip address 169.254.   I did the release, renew, map unistall, policy changes, the static settings and just about everything else I could think of. It is connected at a given time, but not anymore. Same router. My HP mini with Win 7 has no problem of wired or wireless connection. Is there a registry editing as I do or other settings I can try. I disabled V6 and others. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

  What is the reliability of Plug and Play in Windows 7? I mean he came in windows in Windows 98. Sometimes, when you plug a USB device, you may need a set of 60 seconds to restart your computer.   There is a finite amount of drivers that can be incorporated into Windows such as Windows recognizes the device. In addition, device manufacturers must submit the drivers to Microsoft to incorporate into Windows at construction time. Out of the box Plug and Play does not work for all possible configurations of hardware.

  Windows 7 Service pack 1 is released in 2010, the last chance for drivers to be incorporated into the build. Devices with their own hardware ID, which were released after the construction cannot be identified automatically and must, by definition, provide the required drivers for the start install but after that, they should recognize the device automatically. Although the USB 3 specification has been ratified by little around the time of the release of Windows 7 more material supporting this specification came out that shortly after. Windows 7 does not natively support USB 3.

  Windows 7 of Plug-and-Play support works very well, but depends on the hardware manufacturer provides drivers reliable and other support files when it comes to new hardware. Your problem is not with Windows, but your reception units. Windows 7 is now disabled standard support.

  But the similar series of portable Satellite L50 - B PSKTAE is released in Europe.
