  I'm trying to find a replacement battery for Satellite Pro A10, PA3284U-1BRS, 10.8 v original battery, 3600 MAH. A couple of merchants said that it is no longer available and has been replaced by PA3285U-1BRS, the amperage is a little higher at 4400 MAH, but declared voltage is now 11.1 VOLTS. Is this normal, or are they trying to just me to pawn off the coast with something that is really not compatible with the specifications of the original part.   I bought a new laptop (toshiba satellite) 8 original windows pre-installed,
  However, I wanted to repartition my hard drive and without warning I deleted the recovery partition, therefore, the laptop could no longer starts.

  So I asked a professional if he could get my laptop to its original factory condition as it was when I bought it (with 8 pre-installed... original windows) in order to sell it later and he told me that it is impossible since I do not have the recovery disk, and the only way to make it work is by installing windows 7.

  I have lack of knowledge in it staff that's why, I haven't had not to make a copy of a recovery disk.

  Now, as I intend to sell my laptop, I was wondering if there is a possible way to sell me the recovery disk that allow me to back up my laptop to its factory condition (with original windows 8 pre-installed and pre-loaded software of course), and the estimated total costs that I pay.

  Each laptop model also has specific design and different ports placed at different locations.
  For example, Satellite C855 was offered with 6 different hardware platforms. With other words, with 6 different motherboards that may have different hardware (CPU, GPU, WLAN, BT) but also other ports on the left and right.

  Each authorized Toshiba, but also independent repair shops for laptop, will exchange defective motherboard with the same motherboard model. Some little compatible mothers are not available.

  Motherboard is very expensive, so you need to check the price and see if it's worth paying a lot of money to get it repaired.   I have a Toshiba Satellite C855-1KP, part PSKCAE-04600QG5 number, and I can't find the driver wireless on the web.
  I scanned my laptop TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic toll-free and appear to the network:

  Network Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC = version = MAC address

  All my drivers I downloaded from www.Toshiba.com, all worked, except the wireless driver.

  I tried already some wireless drivers from Intel (Intel PRoSet/Wireless Software and the Intel PRoSet/Wireless WiMAX software), but they give me an error that I couldn't solve (the WiMAX adapter was missing, and the error code was 0 x 302).

• Mouse pad does not work on Satellite C855-13D

  Hi, I have a SATELLITE C855 - 13 T.

  I got the TI monthly and now the mouse pad stopped working. Both the touchpad and and right/left clicks don't work. I managed to connect an external mouse on the USB port that works very well. I restarted the laptop several times and also checked the settings of Control Panel-mouse, which indicates that the device Touchpad works properly. I also checked the option to disable the external internal when device is connected is also unchecked.

  I would be very grateful if anyone has any advice on how to get this working again.

  To be honest all you've done is just. You need to check if the touchpad is disabled somehow but if everything seems to be on the last and final test you can do is to install original recovery image and test the feature with the factory settings.

  OK, it's a method more radical but more effective to check the operation of the equipment.

  Please post a feedback about your decision what to do and result about if you try to check with the factory settings.

  I agree with Akuma. You can try using the drive HARD IDE 2.5 up to 100-120 GB.
  I think that by using a 100 GB shouldn't t be a problem
