  In my opinion, your settings on the laptop are right but please check your TV also. I put t know if your TV is a S-video port or you use a S-video adapter. Please check menu TV. Maybe it's for S-video option in the port.

  If the TV doesn't have a S-video port, you can connect your unit as follows:

  built myself a screamer, core i7 920, gigabyte x 58, 6 GB triple channel ocz ram and a powercolor 5770 (ati). got running, hooked through hdmi on my sony bravia 40 '' and everything was sweet. If I switch to vga, I get the color. but it's a 30 feet, run to the sony and I am getting ghosts via vga. I was about to rma video card, but the color at the start of the post OFFICE and windows reminds me that she won't do any good. I scoured google for answers, but still, I have not found the answer.

  solved!

  I never figure out where the parameters was turned off in the catalyst control center, but it was obviously... when I chose the option "Reset all values", the color is back!

  If it doesn't work try to boot from a bootable CD or DVD. So you can make sure if it s a software or hardware problem.

  Have you tried to restart Flash cards?
  Start > all programs > Toshiba > utilities > restart Flash cards.

  You can also try is to install the Flash cards support utility if you can find it on the download page of Toshiba.
