Hello

I have a Satellite A200-1ZF with Vista installed initially.
I removed Vista and install XP. Then installed all the drivers and almost everything works but these keys (power, www, mediaplayer, play, stop, back then) on the upper part of the phone do not work. :/

Only be able to work properly... sometimes www and mediaplayer, but rest n, t work at all.
I have Windows Media Player 9 series. I don't know if this is the problem with my version of drivers or windows media or something else...

Help, please...

Hello

Satellite A200-1ZF belongs to the PSAE6E series.
Choose the Toshiba driver download form European series.

You will find an XP BIOS. If you are using Win XP on this laptop you will need to update the BIOS to version XP!
In addition, you will need to install the Toshiba c. 2.48.2.2C controls.

This tool is necessary to get the Toshiba Media buttons works!

Good bye

    Hello

You cannot use these Toshiba control buttons (play, pause, etc.) because the necessary drivers are not installed.

You will need a compatible Vista value added package, but it seems that Toshiba page does not provide the 64-bit VAP but only the 32-bit version.
The problem is that the software for Vista 32 bit does not work on Vista 64 bit OS.

In my opinion so there's nothing to do right now

    Hello

In my opinion, you must reinstall Toshiba Value added Package and the Eco utility. All utilities, you can get on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

So I agree with the user above the reinstallation of this tools, everything should work properly again.

Relative to the European Toshiba driver page choose the series F30 PQF32.
You will find the common Module and the controls.

    Hello

The buttons work with the previous operating system preinstalled by Toshiba?

I think the problem is the Windows Server 2008 enterprise x 64 sp1
Eventually the added value package does not support it fully

Of course the Windows Server 2008 operating system is based on Vista, but it s not the same thing and I think that's the problem

  • Satellite A660 - touch pad / stop and other buttons do not work

    Dear people on this forum,

Recently, about 3 weeks ago, I turned on my computer and I cleaned out the dust because it was overheating.

about 2 weeks before, I noticed that my touchpad is not working and the buttons at the top of the page do not work, there is no light (multimedia audio buttons wireless) I can't activate/deactivate or either, I don't know how. I don't know if the problem because I cleaned my laptop and has not logged a few threads back but I included this detail because I do not use these buttons if I haven't noticed if they were on. but he said: 2 days ago, I don't know how my wireless exploded Ant when I press fn + f8 (wireless) wireless communication switch is turned off, which is one of the buttons is not working (upstairs next to / switch even with my touch pad)

    I tried the following:

    Windows Update
turn off the computer, remove all cables and battery and wait for about 30 minutes. Then then hold down the button for 30 seconds
Reinstall the support flash cards, hw Setup utility / value pack
and finally a Toshiba out of the recovery of the box using the recovery of 2 cd product

I don't know what to do next. It's either:

    try something else
or is there a wire is connected both touchpad and the buttons at the top and I have to open my laptop and connect them.

Please answer as to my next step to get my wireless.

Please don t get me wrong, but I don t know how to help you now. Disassembly of the laptop is to only authorized persons and if you do it on your own there is always a risk that something may be hurt or may be damaged.

OK, I must also say that I also removed my machine too but I got lucky and everything is OK as before.
I put t know how A660 looks inside, but the principle is still the same and I can't imagine you have whatever it is damaged.
You know very well that we cannot say much about your problem. What you need to do now is the final test of functionality and install original recovery image that you got with your laptop. Test the functionality with the factory settings. If the problem is still there, I m afraid you must open for new laptop and check if everything is connected correctly.

Last option is to contact the service and ask for help.

  • Headphone control buttons does not work

    Hello

I just used my V - Moda Crossfade LP to listen to the music and tried my control buttons. They do not work so I tried a few Ks AKG and buttons do not work also. Do I have to download an app or?

A solution would be really nice!

    Hi Chris9292,

As far as I know, these models are manufactured for Apple devices. There could be some compatibility issues at a Xperia device with buttons and the microphone. For example, if you click on the following link:
    http://v-Moda.com/crossfade-LP/

They include the following: cable microphone 3 remote buttons control calls and music, as well as the volume on most smartphones and tablets, including the latest Apple devices, including the iPhone, iPad, iPod and Macbook (only compatible with Apple products volume)

A third party may be accessory need more power than the phone can provide some. (If possible), I suggest that you connect Sony headphones to use this device to see if you encounter the same behavior.

  • Satellite A200-1AX: card reader SD and BT do not work after installing Win XP

    Hello

About a year and a half, I bought my laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1AX and I'm very happy with it.
It had Vista on it. For this OS, my SD slot worked, but I don't know the bluetooth because I don't use it.

Some time passed and I removed Vista and now I have Windows XP with sp3.
All right, but the SD slot does not work. Bluetooth does not work as well and it is not listed in Device Manager.
I tried Toshiba Bluetooth stack, and when the installation reaches the driver part it does not move.

Here's a screenshot of my device manager:

Those with question marks is not supported by XP as I know, correct me if I'm wrong.

    Hello

Satellite A200-1AX belongs to the PSAE6E series.
It s equipped with BT module so after installing battery BT BT should work correctly, you need to activate using the FN + F8 keys.

    Regarding the housing of card reader SD;
You must install the Flash Media Driver for Texas Instruments. This is the driver for the Bridge Media Slot. This slot allows you to insert an SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture cards.

By the way; the BIOS must be updated after the installation of Win XP. There is a version of BIOS (5, 60-WIN right now) that is specially designed for Win XP

    Good bye

  • Control buttons do not work on Satellite A300 with Win XP

    Hello

A few days ago, I bought a new Toshiba A300-1MX.
I had windows XP installed. Service Pack 3. BIOS is version 1.50 (told in the BIOS).

The problem: my brilliant media keys do not work. They simply do not respond.
    Anyone with any suggestions?

I downloaded the driver for models commute for XP and the utility hotkey for XP, and after installing it, the FN keys work (ESC, F1-5-6-7-10-11) (although that might not work F2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 12).

    Thank you people.
    Sascha

Because the A300-1MX belongs to the series PSAGCE, you must choose and download the XP drivers for this model.

I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there is a BIOS 1.40 only. So Don t understand why you talk about 1.50 Bios.

Second, Toshiba media buttons will work if you install the Toshiba utility controls on the page.
Finally and above all, you need the common Modules for the FN buttons work.
Only FN as F9 keys for example need an additional tool like Touch Pad on / off Utility
The Fn F2 or F3 FN will work if a power gain has been installed and hibernation is enabled.

So, as you can see you need more tools!

  • Control buttons do not work on my Satellite A660

    Satellite A660 / 07T running windows 7

For some reason any no longer works them that my control buttons, IE his mute, wireless, touchpad and buttons etc. I can still control these functions using the buttons F displayed at the top of the screen. Have tried to reinstall the additional package of value without success, would appreciate suggestions, cheers, Jeff

    Hello

Are you talking about the function F1 - F9 keys?
These buttons work as part of the FN command; That is, Fn + F5

The value added package so that the utility Support Toshiba Flash card must be installed in order to use flash cards (the menu on the screen indicating the function buttons)

These pieces of software can be downloaded here:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/A660/psaw3a-07t00r/download?OS=25

Note: before starting with the installation again trying to restart flash cards: all programs-> Toshiba-> Flash Cards

  • Toshiba control buttons don't work no-Portege R200

    Hello

Hi I formatted my Toshiba Portege R200 reinstalled Windows and drivers without the recovery disk.

The problem is that after you have everything installed, I work the shortcut keys (Toshiba controls enabled in the control panel to assign function keys). I'm afraid I don't have Lagun driver or program (Toshiba control) to fix.

I would be grateful for help me solve the problem.

Thank you and I look forward to news.

    Hello

I found the drivers for Win XP on the European driver Toshiba page.
But R200 is an elder and I had to select Archive type of product.

Then I found the common Module and the control of Toshiba.
These applications are required to get the buttons works.

  • Equium P300 - control buttons do not work currently running Win XP

Hi, I'm looking for help with a problem with a laptop Equium P300.

This is my brother's laptop, he bought about 18 months ago, it came with Vista, he did not want what he preferred to have XP, so I changed the XP operating system by using the drivers available on the Toshiba Web site, update the appropriate drivers.

This has worked well for the last 18 months, however, recently, when the laptop is off, touch-sensitive shortcut keys remain lit, even when disconnected from the power supply and do not work.
Previously, if it has been disabled and you press one of the keys shortcut the laptop turns on but is no longer doing this.

I wonder if anyone has had this experience before?
Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this or even what the cause of the problem?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

    Keith

    Hello

You use Win XP on this laptop, then you must update the BIOS because there is a special BIOS for Win XP!
In addition, the Toshiba multimedia control buttons are controlled by tool controls of Toshiba. You can download it from the page of the Toshiba driver.

    Regarding the buttons of enlightenment;
AFAIK you can enabled and disable in the BIOS itself!
    Check the BIOS settings,

    Welcome them
