Hello
Satellite A300-1EB belongs to the series of PSAG0E.
So please first select the right laptop series until you start to download the XP drivers.
After choosing the right laptop model, you need to reinstall the XP drivers.
The common Module and Hotkey Utility are required to achieve the FN keys work.
The common Modules must be installed first.
For the multimedia buttons works, you need to install the controls.
I didn t it find in the PSAG0E series, but in other series like PSAGCE A300. So check it out!
Good bye
By the way: SP3 may cause some compatibility issues... then you should first remove all!

Everything works, and only 6 keys don't work = \They light up, but when I press nothing happens =)
I tried to find the drivers on your site, but I did not. Please help me to fix this. (perhaps there is some drivers or software I need).
Hello
The driver for Win XP for Satellite A350 are not available at this moment didn't find anything on the European driver Toshiba page.
To use these keys, you will need the driver, tool called controls.I found this driver/tool for Satellite A300.
Try it and maybe it will work on your A350.

Qosmio F30: Toshiba control buttons do not work on Vista 64 bit
Hello everyone
I have Windows Vista 64-bit installed on my Qosmio F30, but before operation buttons do not work.
I tried to use the 32-bit configuration of Vista drivers, but when I press it, I got the following error: "this function not taken in charge. So please can someone help me to overcome this problem.
THX
Hello
You cannot use these Toshiba control buttons (play, pause, etc.) because the necessary drivers are not installed.
You will need a compatible Vista value added package, but it seems that Toshiba page does not provide the 64-bit VAP but only the 32-bit version.
The problem is that the software for Vista 32 bit does not work on Vista 64 bit OS.In my opinion so there's nothing to do right now

Satellite A300 - 1GN PASGCE - LED light button does not work with Win 7
I improve my laptop for windows 7 everything works fine but the touchpad multimedia light led power button does not work.
Play, stop, next work earlier but not the light / off does not work.No idea why?
Hello
Maybe it's a question of s a Win 7.
I mean that the software is not intended for Win 7 but only for Vista. But you should check if you can reconfigure this button again.
In Toshiba Assist-> optimize, you can find the Support of Toshiba Button tool.
This tool can be used for the new configuration of the control buttons.First click on the button that you want to reconfigure and target path you can then choose the path to the exe file that must be executed by pressing this button.
As far as I know that the exe files are placed in the program files/Toshiba/TSB folder.
You will find different applications and one of these applications control the light on/off.

Satellite A300D-205 - Fn buttons do not work with Win XP
Hi all!
I installed windows XP for my toshiba Satellite A300D-205,
I found compatible drivers and all devices work properly except multimedia functions Fn and sensor-buttons next to the main keyboard!
I tried to install Toshiba Value Package added, but it does not work in win XP...
Do you have ideas of how make this stuff work? Y at - it Toshiba VAP for XP?
All responses appreciated. Thank you.
Kind regards...

Look, man
The VAP (value added package) was designed for Win Vista and Win 7 ONLY!
There is no PPV for Win XP!Satellite A300D-205 belongs to the PSAHCE but the Toshiba series European driver page does not provide the Win XP drivers for this series! There are only Vista or Win 7 drivers.
To be honest, Win XP is oldie was a King in the past, but the King living death the King (Win 7)
I doubt that you will get Win XP drivers created for this series and so I doubt that you will get to the buttons FN.
But of course, you can try to install common Module, Hotkey Utility, utility Hotkey to published display to other devices perhaps series (A300, A200, etc.), you could get the tools running that would allow the FN keys -
Control buttons do not work after the new installation OS on Equium A100-147
After Installing Win XP manually, I am facing problem for the multimedia keys on the left side of the laptop work.
I am able to access the first button to launch Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player but still keys Play/Stop / > /.< not="" working="" with="" windows="" media="">
I read in these forums that these keys work only with WinDVD or Windows Media Player with CD/DVD in. But I was able to use these keys with MP3 files in Windows Media Player.
I don't want to use the restore CD.
Thanks for your reply.
Hello
Of course you can use it with mp3 files. The files are probably listed in the WMP library, and you can use all of the buttons. There is nothing unusual.
If you cannot use all those buttons in WMP when music CD is in the drive or you if the WMP library is open I recommend you remove TOSHIBA controls reboot the device and install again. Maybe it will work again.

Hello
In my opinion, you must reinstall Toshiba Value added Package and the Eco utility. All utilities, you can get on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download driversSo I agree with the user above the reinstallation of this tools, everything should work properly again.

Satellite A660 - touch pad / stop and other buttons do not work
Dear people on this forum,
Recently, about 3 weeks ago, I turned on my computer and I cleaned out the dust because it was overheating.
about 2 weeks before, I noticed that my touchpad is not working and the buttons at the top of the page do not work, there is no light (multimedia audio buttons wireless) I can't activate/deactivate or either, I don't know how. I don't know if the problem because I cleaned my laptop and has not logged a few threads back but I included this detail because I do not use these buttons if I haven't noticed if they were on. but he said: 2 days ago, I don't know how my wireless exploded Ant when I press fn + f8 (wireless) wireless communication switch is turned off, which is one of the buttons is not working (upstairs next to / switch even with my touch pad)
I tried the following:
Windows Update
turn off the computer, remove all cables and battery and wait for about 30 minutes. Then then hold down the button for 30 seconds
Reinstall the support flash cards, hw Setup utility / value pack
and finally a Toshiba out of the recovery of the box using the recovery of 2 cd productI don't know what to do next. It's either:
try something else
or is there a wire is connected both touchpad and the buttons at the top and I have to open my laptop and connect them. Please answer as to my next step to get my wireless.
Your dear member of the forums, kaujis

Please don t get me wrong, but I don t know how to help you now. Disassembly of the laptop is to only authorized persons and if you do it on your own there is always a risk that something may be hurt or may be damaged.
OK, I must also say that I also removed my machine too but I got lucky and everything is OK as before.
I put t know how A660 looks inside, but the principle is still the same and I can't imagine you have whatever it is damaged.
You know very well that we cannot say much about your problem. What you need to do now is the final test of functionality and install original recovery image that you got with your laptop. Test the functionality with the factory settings. If the problem is still there, I m afraid you must open for new laptop and check if everything is connected correctly.Last option is to contact the service and ask for help.

Headphone control buttons does not work
Hello
I just used my V - Moda Crossfade LP to listen to the music and tried my control buttons. They do not work so I tried a few Ks AKG and buttons do not work also. Do I have to download an app or?
A solution would be really nice!
Hi Chris9292,
As far as I know, these models are manufactured for Apple devices. There could be some compatibility issues at a Xperia device with buttons and the microphone. For example, if you click on the following link:
http://v-Moda.com/crossfade-LP/They include the following: cable microphone 3 remote buttons control calls and music, as well as the volume on most smartphones and tablets, including the latest Apple devices, including the iPhone, iPad, iPod and Macbook (only compatible with Apple products volume)
A third party may be accessory need more power than the phone can provide some. (If possible), I suggest that you connect Sony headphones to use this device to see if you encounter the same behavior.

Hello
You mean all Toshiba control buttons (IE pause, play, stop, lighting, etc.) don t work yet, you have installed the new VAP?
One of my friends had the similar problem and he has reinstalled the VFR too.
Unfortunately, it has not been helping :(
Something was confusing upward. He used the recovery disc and then everything worked again
I don't know why this happened, but maybe it has something to do with MS updates

Re: Satellite A200 - 1ZF Win XP & Toshiba control buttons do not work
Hello
I have a Satellite A200-1ZF with Vista installed initially.
I removed Vista and install XP. Then installed all the drivers and almost everything works but these keys (power, www, mediaplayer, play, stop, back then) on the upper part of the phone do not work. :/Only be able to work properly... sometimes www and mediaplayer, but rest n, t work at all.
I have Windows Media Player 9 series. I don't know if this is the problem with my version of drivers or windows media or something else...Help, please...
Hello
Satellite A200-1ZF belongs to the PSAE6E series.
Choose the Toshiba driver download form European series. You will find an XP BIOS. If you are using Win XP on this laptop you will need to update the BIOS to version XP!
In addition, you will need to install the Toshiba c. 2.48.2.2C controls. This tool is necessary to get the Toshiba Media buttons works!

Control buttons do not work on Satellite A300 with Win XP
Hello
A few days ago, I bought a new Toshiba A300-1MX.
I had windows XP installed. Service Pack 3. BIOS is version 1.50 (told in the BIOS).The problem: my brilliant media keys do not work. They simply do not respond.
Anyone with any suggestions?I downloaded the driver for models commute for XP and the utility hotkey for XP, and after installing it, the FN keys work (ESC, F1-5-6-7-10-11) (although that might not work F2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 12).
Thank you people.
SaschaBecause the A300-1MX belongs to the series PSAGCE, you must choose and download the XP drivers for this model.
I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there is a BIOS 1.40 only. So Don t understand why you talk about 1.50 Bios.
Second, Toshiba media buttons will work if you install the Toshiba utility controls on the page.
Finally and above all, you need the common Modules for the FN buttons work.
Only FN as F9 keys for example need an additional tool like Touch Pad on / off Utility
The Fn F2 or F3 FN will work if a power gain has been installed and hibernation is enabled. So, as you can see you need more tools!

Control buttons do not work on my Satellite A660
Satellite A660 / 07T running windows 7
For some reason any no longer works them that my control buttons, IE his mute, wireless, touchpad and buttons etc. I can still control these functions using the buttons F displayed at the top of the screen. Have tried to reinstall the additional package of value without success, would appreciate suggestions, cheers, Jeff
Hello
Are you talking about the function F1 - F9 keys?
These buttons work as part of the FN command; That is, Fn + F5The value added package so that the utility Support Toshiba Flash card must be installed in order to use flash cards (the menu on the screen indicating the function buttons)
These pieces of software can be downloaded here:
http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/A660/psaw3a-07t00r/download?OS=25Note: before starting with the installation again trying to restart flash cards: all programs-> Toshiba-> Flash Cards

Hello, could someone help me?
I upgraded my laptop Satellite A110 to Vista. Media button control does not work after upgrade to vista.
Help, please...
Hi guys
You consider right. You must install the Vista Toshiba value added package.
I found this TSB Toshiba
TOSHIBA value added V1.0.25 for VISTA contains 3 different version. What is right for my cell phone? http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB7801XK0005R01.htm
You must check your key for laptop specifications and then use the right file and drivers.
Maybe this could be some help how to determine the amount of buttons on the right:
