Re: Satellite L875D-S7332 - screen blurry on an external screen after sleep

I have successfully used an external monitor as a second monitor plugged into my laptop Toshiba Satellite HDMI connector for almost a year. I am running Windows 8.1.

I recently added a happens 24 "monitor to the laptop's VGA connector. This means that I have now two monitors of similar sizes, sitting at the same level, instead of my computer 17 "laptop on a riser.

The implementation works fine except that when I wake up my system from sleep, the text is extremely blurry on my Samsung screen. It is on the Dell monitor. The same problem is if I try to change all the properties in the control/display panel.

My Toshiba video card is a Radeon 7520 g and I have updated the drivers since this problem started.

Claire Type is enabled.

I have also tried to disconnect and reconnect the monitor, nothing helps. Setting parameters in the control/display panel does not solve anything.

The only solution is to reboot completely and I'd rather avoid this because it takes 10 minutes to restart completely all my different accounts (multi Dropbox) and applications.

Samsung say it is nothing to do with them and to check with Toshiba, where the post here. (My serial and model numbers are not recognized so I can't submit a request by e-mail and no one answered the phone).

Thanks in advance for the advice,

Hello

I put t know if it would be useful, but I had a similar problem
I have an external LG 23 monitor and I plugged my laptop LG port HDMI output s HDMI IN port.
The image on the external monitor is really blurry. I used the best resolution 1920 x 1080, but the text was not clear.

Then I did some tests and connected the laptop's HDMI out s monitor DVI-IN Jack.
This is the key! The 1920 x 1080 resolution is the same, but the text and the image were pretty clear.

Maybe you should also connect the laptop with DVI instead of HDMI port

Adding a device I find the device and install it, but trying to connect (devices, project)
I get an error - failed to connect

I removed and replaced the miracast device, I've updated the graphics card from AMD, I've updated the wireless LAN card

And still can not connect to miracast, I connect easily to miracast with other devices (Tablet, smartphone)
network card wireless LAN realtek rtl8188ce wireless lan nic worm 2012.3.913.2013 802.11npci
the amd redeon 7520g worm 13.151.0.0 hd video card

What else can be updated through the screen extra miracast?

First of all, please make sure that your hardware will support the standard Miracast.
Miracast work, if you have good pilot + material.

The wireless network card must support Virtual Wi - Fi (NDIS 6.2 or newer) and Wi - Fi Direct (NDIS 6.3 and newer).
If the wireless network adapter does not support these standards, the Miracast is not possible.

In addition, if you use Win 8.1 you also a WDDM (Windows Display Driver Model) 1.3 installed graphics card driver that would support the functionality of Miracast.

Hi people, I recently bought and am awaiting delivery of the Satellite L875D-S7332 laptop.

The RAM can be upgraded to 16 GB? If Yes, please someone can tell me the name of the product should I buy? And do I need one or two of them?

Also, is there any available Dual MD - A6 - 4400M Core upgrade?

Specification for portable computer, you can find here. Just click on details.

It is written you can use max 16 GB, and you can use the modules of 2 X 8 GB with PA5037U-1M8G part number.
What you can upgrade is the HARD drive. Update CPU is not supported.

  • Satellite P300 - white screen after waking from sleep state

    I'm having this problem:
The LCD screen may be empty when the computer is "awakened" from the sleep state. Nothing is visible on the internal LCD or an external monitor.

There seems to be a solution:
An update of the firmware for a component in the main circuit of the computer solves this problem. This update must be performed by an authorized Toshiba (ASP) Service provider. Until arrangements are made for the update, restart the computer by pressing the power on button for a few seconds.

If you check the Toshiba document you would see that your Satellite P300 is not related to this issue.

In your case I would recommend upgrading the BIOS and graphics driver.
In addition to keep your operating system up-to-date.

I had this problem under Win XP and a MS patch and an update of the graphics card driver helped solve this problem.

  • Satellite L875D: USB 3.0 ports do not work after decommissioning of Win8 for Win7

    Hello

I got my OS of Win8 OEM for Win 7 Home Premium because Win8 is just not for me... Its a legal version of Win7 with a product key, storebought...

The laptop is a Satellite L875D-10N, which I bought in September 13.

Installation went well, except that 2 3 ports USB 3.0 no longer works.
I can stil fresh my phone or other devices, but the laptop is not "see". Also, USB drives and other storage devices are not recognized.

In the Device Manager the ar two ports under "other devices" and no driver is installed for them.
I tried in different ways to find and install a driver, but it never works.

Can someone help me with this? I would be very much greatfull!

    Kind regards

    Wilbert
    Amsterdam, Netherlands

    > In Device Manager, the two ports are listed in the "other devices" section and no driver is installed for them.

Indeed the USB issue seems to be related to the missing drivers.

You must install this driver USB 3.0:
    [Driver USB AMD v 2.0.7.176 Windows 7 - 64 bit: http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 178 & selProduct 7534 = & selSh ortMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = 30 & selType = all & yearu pload = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = a llMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = al l & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 3 & ID = 87792 & OSI D = 30 & driverLanguage = 42]

In addition, you will need to make sure that this chipset driver has been installed too.
The laptop supports the graphics chip ATI and AMD chipset. The chipset driver is the driver of ATI graphics card and this is why you must make sure that this driver would be installed too.

  • Satellite L755D: black screen after startup or switching of external monitor

I have a strange problem with my Satellite L755D. I normally use an external monitor that works very well.

If I want to switch to the laptops monitor using Fn + F5, the laptop monitor remains dark, but you can see (more guessing) office.

Just the bright background lights. Same thing if I boot without the external monitor. In the beginning (phase BIOS?), you can see the normal symbols, then the screen turns to.

Funny, is that these two problems do not appear when I cut the power supply and the laptop runs on battery only.
Any ideas, what the reason could be?

    Thank you
    Mason

Funny, is that these two problems do not appear when I cut the power supply and the laptop runs on battery only.

Maybe you should check the configuration of power plan that is used only in battery mode.
It might be possible that the backlight settings have been set at a lower value by using the power of the battery.
I recommend you to check this in the ATI catalyst and windows power options.

  • Satellite M70 - black screen after the installation of recovery

So far, what I did is put in the Recovery DVD - ROM product. Then when my computer restarts I was invited to restore my computer failing and said. After that he went through this process, that he told me to remove the disc that I did. Now he only get a black screen after the Toshiba screen that gives me options f2 for Setup and f12 for options.

I don't know what to do now to make my laptop works again. Help, please.

    Hi Zach_1,

Have you tried to launch the installation of recovery again? Maybe that something was wrong during the first installation, it might have arrived
Then retry the recovery facility and see what happens.

If it doesn't work you should try a normal Microsoft disk so determine if the problem is related to hardware or recovery disk.

  • HP G60 laptop: black screen after sleep or hibernate Windows10

Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, the laptop displays a black screen after the sleep or hibernate modes.  The system seems to be commissioning (HDD, fan action), but no video.  The system boots normally cold trouble-free starting.  Never, there is this problem with Windows 7.

    Hi @Bobby876,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP G60 laptop and problems with the mode "sleep" after the update to Windows 10. I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You could restore the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. In this way, it will look at the hardware installed on your laptop.

    You can try:

In Device Manager, click the arrow

next to display adapters to expand this category
Right-click on the graph, and then select Update driver software if more than 1 graphic adapter do 1 at a time.
Select search automatically for updated driver software.

The laptop must find and automatically install the updated driver
Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop.

You can try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

  • Satellite L875D-S7332 - keyboard replacement - illuminated / backlight?

    Aloha people,.

First and foremost a matter of keyboard L875D...

Newbie: Sorry if this has already been addressed and answered before, but I need to know...
Looking for a solid answer that I have still not yet to find, brought me here...

Has anyone tried replacing their stock black keyboard with a keyboard light or backlight?
If yes how? All the problems? Drivers needed? or Win o/s 8 she will recognize and allow it to turn on?
What is a brand you or another would recommend and why?

Know of any detailed how sites or videos that show or explain the installation process.
I replaced one on this machine already... it's not hard to do at all, the keyboard backlight would involve the same process or?

I'm sick of work at night and constantly fighting external light options just to type!
I need keys that light up.

Thank you and Mahalo in advance for any answer!
The answers, particularly technical answers so welcome!

    DBOBA

    Hello

I don't have this model of laptop and can not confirm that we can do exactly, but what I know, is that this keyboard has separate cable for lighting and the motherboard must have an additional connector for it.

I can't say for sure, but I guess models without keyboard illumination have not and these updates is probably not possible.

  • Re: Satellite L875D-S7332: lack of bluetooth

Hi people, I'm really surprised that a new laptop would have occurred without bluetooth capability, but well sure, I took delivery of my new machine and cannot use one of my devices with it.

Before investing in a dongle, can someone make sure that it will work?

And is the only method dongle or can I buy an antenna or an alternative internal? With only 3 usb ports, a dongle will be a nuisance.

    Thanks in advance,
    JO

According to laptop specifications of your laptop doesn t have BT inside.

You should not be surprised about lack BT. Cheaper notebooks doesn't not some components and BT is a component of type hardware that is missing on low budget machines.

In-house solution is not possible, so USB solution is only possible to get the BT on your machine.

  • Satellite C855 - white screen after BIOS update

    Hello

    I am a beginner user,
    I have Satellite C855
Yesterday, I downloaded a 'update BIOS"that was sent to my computer.
Since that my screen is blank, there is a hum in the background.

I have a recovery back up on my external hard drive, but of course, the screen is blank so I don't know how the product.

I think I must have downloaded a model or the update was not compatible.

    Hello

White screen do you mean that nothing appears on the screen?
You see the start screen of Toshiba, or if you are able to access the BIOS?

Where this is not possible, try this:
Disconnect the power adapter, remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
Then connect the two parts (batteries and AC adapter) for the laptop and try to turn on the unit.

In case this would not solve the problem of the laptop, I'm scared of m the BIOS update was not completed successfully and I think that only authorized Toshiba service provider would be able to help you.

  • Satellite C650 - black screen after BIOS update

My Satellite C650 Windows 7 - won't start afte BIOS update / switch.

Everything worked very well until the automatic update of Toshiba asked me to download and install the new BIOS update, I did. At the same session Windows and McAfee asked updated. I agreed to all. After all updates have been installed, turns off. The next day when I walk, I see only black screen. I also tried F2, F12 and drive recovery. Nothing happens!

    Any recommendation?

    Hey,.

It seems that something was wrong during the update of the BIOS and so that you can t the computer unbootable. But I put t understand why you did the BIOS update. If everything works correctly, you can forget about this update. More if you do a BIOS update you shouldn't t run any other updates or programs that might affect the update of the BIOS.

Anyway, in this case you can do nothing and you need professional help. Please contact an authorized service provider and guys can help you update the ROM module On the Web from Toshiba site, you can find a list of all the FSA:

    Hello

It looks like a hardware problem. You should check the RAM and HARD drive.

    http://www.HitachiGST.com/HDD/support/download.htm#DFT
With the Drive Fitness Test, you can test your HARD drive. Download the CD image, burn it to a CD and boot from it. You can then the HARD drive.
On the same site is a user's guide if you want to know more.

    http://Memtest86.com/
Memtest86 is a diagnostic tool to check the RAM. Here, you can also download a CD image.
It s easy to use. Run the test of 3-4 hours and then you will see if the RAM has some errors.

    Good luck!
