  My R - 630 Satellite is less than a year, under a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit. For awhile, I've known BSOD, which I traced him through the observer of events here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd337789 (WS.10) .aspx

  -Bus enumerators

  I downloaded the indicated Win 7-64 bit drivers in each case. I tried to install the first. Nothing happened. I uninstalled the existing and installed new drivers. Nothing happened again.

  I thought I should do things in the right order.
  So I tried to install
  (1) the Chip Set Utility (drivers?) first, then
  (2) the USB drivers
  (3) sound card drivers etc.

  Nothing happens not always.

  I'm running out of ideas here.

  PS while other drivers run very well when I extracted the .zip format, the sound card driver, refused to run, even if the box "run command" has been checked when executing the .msi file.
  I've pulled into a folder and ran it manually.

  You need a Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit system disk. I doubt that Microsoft Win 7 32 bit disk also contains the 64-bit version.

  Hello, I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit with SP2 and recently met a problem trying to get windows updates. I spent days reading post and the windows support and community application solves nothing doesn't. I receive the error 80246008 so they were trying to get updates. I followed of many positions and patches with a limited degree of success recommended. I have windows update to activate and my COM + service is on and working but my smart information transfer Service does not appear in my register and the list of services. I saw the patches for other versions of windows, but not for Vista, maybe I'm just blind? Any help would be greatly appreciated even if your just pointing me in the right direction. On another note, I can't get MSE update of virus definitions, related question, I guess?   I bought a new Satellite R630 - 13U Code: PT31LE-00V006CE two weeks ago. Problem is that I am not able to connect to any wireless network (or open or encrypted with WPA or WEP).

  In my laptop I got it with Windows 7 installed. I am able to see the icon for wireless next to the clock in the bottom right of the screen, as I am able of netwoks that detects the pc and see select it in the list. Then once I have selected the network he asks me the password, and if I have entered a wrong password, I get the error of law.

  Problem comes when I introduce the correct password... then after a few minutes where I can see the screen of "process"bar that I get an error message that just said ' not being able to connect to the "network name"

  As I said I tried with several open networks or security, with two levels of security (WPA or WEP). I tried with different networks, with different routers and in different places... but never had a laptop computer with this new wifi connection.

  I tried to uninstall the Broadcom card and reinstalling by downloading the driver from the official site of toshiba, also I've installed the latest version of the "value package"... but still does not work.

  I have other friends with HP, o DELL who use Windows 7, which are able to connect to networks that I'm not, and no problem...

  What else should I try to fix this problem?

  Touchpad driver is not in the laptop model.
  You can choose the touchpad drivers released for other series of satellites as well.
  I can recommend the Satellite L500. There you can download the Synaptics and Alps touchpad driver. Both are released for Win 7 64 bit.

  Please note that scrolling touchpad can be changed/turned on in the control panel-> mouse-> device settings.

  I think it must be enabled.
