Re: Speakers Crackle on Satellite A100-049

I've only had my phone for over a year, but for about six months now the top speakers crackle. Especially when I play music but it can happen when matches are played on there also. Why is this?

Hmm maybe, there is a fault of the speaker.
Have you checked if the same crackling noise would appear using the headset?

Unless I opened fully open/almost completely the cover on my Toshiba Satellite A100-049 it will always freeze on screen Toshiba Logo black (first one you see). She has completed half of the blue progress bar that runs along the bottom of the screen. I need and then turn off the button and once again, it becomes work.

The laptop is only 2 weeks old nine. It's especially annoying since it prevents a scheduled backup to wake the portable computer from Hibernation. I have to leave it on or leave the lid open permanently.

    Help?

It seems that the title has been changed from the one I posted, nothing wrong with that, but it is no longer accurate. It keeps loading the Windows loading screen, it freezes "before" that date. The Toshiba Logo POST screen, very first, you see when you turn on the laptop.

  • Where can I find drivers for Satellite A100-049 64-Bit Vista?

Currently, I run Vista Home Premium SP1 32-Bit and do it because there seems to be only the 32-bit drivers on the site Web of Tosiba:

    [http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/vista_drivers.jsp?macId=&mode=allMachines&userOS=& action = search & SelCategorie = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 153 & selProduct = 700 & selOS = 2]

Where can I find drivers for Toshiba Satellite A100-049 64-Bit Vista?

    Thank you

    Hello!

Normally you get all the drivers on the Toshiba site, but Toshiba does not have a 64-bit drivers for all mobile phones.
In most cases only for the new laptops, which came with 4 GB of RAM.

That can make is to search on external Web sites for 64-bit drivers.
Here are some examples where you can search:

    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

    Good luck

  • Question of function on a Satellite A100-049 keys

Hello, I am new on this forum please bear with me if I am wrong.

I just bought a Satellite A100-049 and supported by mistake on the F10 key. Turns the LED under the key and I discovered to my horror that I couldn't type some letters and, worse still, I could not disable the F10, that is! I finally had to restart.

I can see doing what F1 to F9 from the dropdown at the top of the screen, but I can't work out what should I F10, F11 and F12 and I'm in constant fear of press them! The manual and the web site of Toshiba do not seem to offer any help, even if it is probably because I don't know where to look.

Can anyone of you kind experts out there find out?

    Thank you very much

    John

    Hello

Maybe, I know how to solve your problem. Try to press "Fn + F10" (hold Fn and press F10 at the same time).
Then your keyboard should work properly again.
Maybe you press a combination of keys (for example "Fn + F10"), then the alternative keyboard on your keyboard has been activated.

Please give some feedback if my clue helped you.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A100-049: CDs and DVDs do not read after standby

I have a new satellite A100-049 delivered with vista home premium pre-installed. After returning to the computer from sleep/wake (whatever mode is when the yellow light pulses) without discs can be read in the drive. The disc rotates constantly, but nothing will happen.

Everything works well when the computer is turned on at the first time, but after the sleep he stopped playing discs. Is that what I can do about it?

    Hello

What happens if you remove the media CD or DVD of the training after the laptop back to sleep/wake?

I mean that you should remove the Middle, close the CD tray, then open the drive, insert the CD/DVD and check if the laptop recognizes the middle.

  • Satellite A100-049, do not load, totally dead

    Purchased: April 2007
    Model: Satellite A100-049 (PSAARE-03G00JEN)
Operating system: supplied with Windows Vista 32-bit, now under Windows 7 64-bit

In recent weeks, my Toshiba Satellite A100-049 began to charge not. He went from 100%, 80%, 50%, 30%, 10%. Basically all over the place but I have no worry because I never unplug it anyway, and if I let her she eventually settle and start loading. It worked this way for about 2-3 weeks.

    * He then from the changing of the guard that I discovered despite the orange charging light is on and Windows, he is in charge, it is actually not statement. This means in turn Windows is not hibernate (depending on configuration) when it reaches 3% of battery. Therefore, it goes down to 0% and turns off.

When he is in this State, it's a real pain so he could start charging again. I left all night and sometimes the charging light lights up, other times it doesn't.

    * I thought it might be the battery so I bought a new *, this fixed for about a week before the same exact problems occurred.

    * Since that it has gotten worse and now does not load period.*, I now have two dead batteries with 0% fee, as well as a dead laptop. Once again I left during the night, nothing, that it refuses to load.

I searched this forum and tried to turn on without the battery in, it lights. He's dead.

    * Is the main/mother card or would be - this something else? *

If the Commission of the main mother card, how much a replacement motherboard would cost more work? I live in the United Kingdom, how to fix here? If this is not the case, in U.S. dollars will be fine.

I really hope I can make it last a few months because A: I can't afford a new laptop and b: I prefer to buy a new laptop when Windows 8 came out, I intend to get anyway. Especially since I already have a valid license of Windows 7 retail.

Thank you. Any help would be appreciated.

    > I have searched this forum and tried to turn on without the battery in, it lights. He's dead.

That s not good dude even if the battery is not connected, the laptop must turn on with AC adapter plugged
What you can do is this short workaround just for testing purposes.
-The battery should be removed in addition to disconnect the adapter
-Leave the laptop disconnected for a longer period of time (a long night). then press the power button / stop along 30 sec.
-Now connect the AC adapter and check if the laptop would be powered.

If this is not possible, then the motherboard could be affected in such cases is not worth buying a new motherboard since its really, really expensive part.
New motherboard + fix would cost about 300-350
In my opinion it's better to sell this unit and buy a new laptop.

  • Problem with graphics drivers Nvidia on Satellite A100-049

I have the Satellite A100-049 with Vista Home Premium. The graphics driver is NVidia GeForce Go 7300.
Sometimes I get this error message when I start my laptop.
The error message is "display driver has stopped working and recovered. Problem with nvlddmkm» I checked with Microsoft and Nvidia site, and there is no driver for this specification update.
Please help me with this problem.

    Post edited by: [email protected]_UK

    I suggest the following:

Uninstall the driver nvidia of your system (maybe it would be good to use the program 'DriverCleaner'-> www.drivercleaner.net), go to these sites

    -> http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
    -> http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Choose your display driver (and Don t say you do not, the drivers work, I have a Sat A100 with Vista and it works :)))
    Download and then install it.

    Should work

  • Satellite A100-049 - CD ROM drive is more noticed

My satellite A100-049 can't see my CD rom drive, it will not automatically play all discs, and when I double click on a shortcut to a program that uses a disc says "couldn't find any cd-rom drive.

I tried updating the driver but I already have the most up to date. It was fine yesterday, until I installed Norton 360 - I don't know if this has anything to do with it. My operating system is vista Home premium.

I really need help quickly I go to University in less than 3 weeks and the cd rom drive is vital for my class.

    Hi Michael

It s very strange that your CD/DVD drive not working anymore after installing Norton 360. To me, it seems that Norton 360 has changed some registry keys and so the reader is malfunctioning.

I recommend to remove the CD/DVD drive device manager.
Then, restart the laptop. After the restart new BONE windows should recognize the new hardware (CD/DVD drive) and must install it again.
Then start the registry and delete the upper and lower filter values from this registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    Then restart and try again!

Good luck and congrats dude ;)

  • Satellite A100-049 Modem SM2173ALD07 64 Bit Vista driver needed

I'm looking for drivers for Vista 64 bit for the:

    SM2173ALD07 - software modem Dial-up

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-049 and that you can find the 32-bit drivers. I managed to find 64-bit drivers for pretty much everything (No. with Toshiba). Thank you.

PS - I have not yet installed Vista 64-Bit, so do not know if the 32-bit drivers (so they can be more software than drivers) will work but they can't imagine.

It turns out that Windows 7 x 64 drivers for this built, by using Windows Update.

I have PC notebook Toshiba Satellite A100-709.
I just installed Windows XP Home Edition of original home Toshiba Recovery CD and all microsoft updates.
I downloaded the latest Sound driver and update the bios of Toshiba Web site for this laptop.

  • Satellite A100-049: New Value Added Package - what file do I use

    Hello

Could someone please help with this.
I get an email from Toshiba saying that a download file call VAP... zip is ready for download.

What I've done twice now, but when I unpack I find three folders on the buttons, but no readme file to tell one to use.

I have A100-049, can someone please tell me where one of these files that I need to install.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Keith (Porkyuk)

    Hello Keith

I'm sure that your laptop has 6 buttons. If you check THIS photo, you'll see two buttons have two parts and function as two buttons. Because of this, there are 6 buttons.

If your Satellite looks like this in the photo please use 6 buttons folder.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A100-049 screen remains empty when reactivated from sleep mode

Intermittently, have been left for a while my screen A100-049 remains empty when reactivated from sleep mode. It does not meet the access keys and have checked the settings which seem to agree.

Notice that in this case the power button remains 'blue' and not to return to 'Orange flashing. Is this a common problem?

    Hello

What do you with the mode 'sleep'? Do you mean the hibernation mode or the mode booth? What operating system do you use?

Listen buddy. It's really not easy to say why it happens without running diagnostic tests. I think you should try to update the graphics driver and check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS. Two updates might be useful in resolving these issues

    Good luck
