Hello

I had the same problem.
I could not yet the office, but I had to modify the registry.

Start the registry using the regedit command.
Navigate to the key: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\ CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Now the research right for Shell
Click twice on it and change the value of "explorer.exe".
Close the registry and restart the device.
Expected to explore them again.

  • Satellite 1905-S301: laptop model name Virus has changed?

I think that my Satellite 1905-S301 has been exposed to a virus. This is the worst I've ever seen: he has removed my firewall (Zonealarm), antivirus (AVG free) and Spybot. disabled Center Windows XP security, firewall and automatic update; I am unable to go to safemode (blue screen on startup); and I can not yet use the recovery CD because it has changed my machine to a 1900-801. This virus seems like it has intelligence.

Anyone know how I can force the recovery CD to restore my system?

What about first formatting the entire HARD disk, then use the Toshiba Recovery CD.
    This should help.
I don t think that the virus has changed something in the DMI and changed the model number of the laptop.

  • Error - "Kaspersky Anti-virus has stopped working properly." in the Windows Vista-based computer.

Original title: Phantom appearance of reference of Kaspersky Anti-virus in my system.

I get a problem report "Kaspersky Anti-virus has stopped working properly." and "to resolve this problem, run the update automatic tool provided with I have never installed this program, and it does not appear in my list of installed programs, in fact I never heard before that." Why do I get this message? What should I do about it? (My security program is Panda Global Protection 2012, if by chance it has something to do with it.)

I did a full restore, but the error has occurred three times today. I know that Kaspersky is not on my computer and has never been. I think it's a virus. http://imgur.com/vjcgF

  • Firefox has corrupted the file download. Fix to reset or uninstal, more problem happened

This hours 5 all started there, when I tried to download a file from my school site .doc, but Microsoft Word open with "file conversion" options and preview is filled with unreadable codes. I used Nightly 64-bit on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 system newly installed (about a week ago after I upgraded my ssd).

    1. I tried to open other .exl on the same site, but Microsoft Excel can open not saying at all that the file is corrupted. I used IE 11 to download the same files and it worked perfectly. Problem with every night she looked like.

    2. I have reset every night, then tried to download the same file again, does not. I tried safemode disable all addons and try to download the .doc file. He worked surprisly!. So it seems like a problem with the addon. Then I disabled all addons manually restarted again but tested does not. I was really frustrated at that point so I think that my night has been hacked by malware or hidden plugins.

3 uninstalled every night, then I cleaned all the files on the left with Ccleaner. I checked the full scan with Windows security essential; Download malware cleaner "Malwarebytes". Yes, some malware such as files have been detected and cleaned.

    4. downloaded waterfox 64-bit, but now several problems. It remains impossible to download the file to .doc or exl format now. The right click menu does not appear on a Web page, image or highlighted text. CTRL + click on a link to open the link in a new tab does not work, nothing happens. I try to reset or reboot to safemode, Nope! the Help menu is gone, quite clear!

In short, I wouldn't reinstall my OS for that matter. I wish I could find some remover software that detects the virus of firefox pluggins. I don't want to try the 32-bit version of firefox for this problem.

    Thank you.

If Waterfox works as Firefox, commune of the plugin, you may need to change some settings of the plugin. Here's what I suggest:

Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins.

Then check the setting of activation for each plugin in the list:

    • For plugins that must run around the world (such as security software), the value 'ask to activate '.
    • For plugins that all websites are allowed to use, the value 'ask to activate '.
    • For plugins that NO sites should use, or which seem not site-specific (e.g. leads), the value "never activate.
    • Let other plugins on 'ask to activate '.

Then go out and repeat Waterfox upwards to see if that helps with the right-click context menus.

  • viruses or corrupted files?

First, I searched many forums and none of the fixes work so far. Yesterday, I used the Add/Remove function to only remove stuff, I thought that I was not relaxing, restarted and no bar tasks or icons, wallpaper manager and just tasks. Nothing on right click, msg saying explore has a problem and needs to close whenever I connect to my office and also the same msg when I try to type explorer.exe in the box. I used safe mode and the same results. The Task Manager, internet and all programs continue to operate normally.

In safe mode, I signed on a second desktop, not the main (had no office) and I tried the trick where I typed in cmd then sfc/scannow. My icons on this desk came immediately and continue to work normally. No change on my main desktop, tried it in normal mode and safe.

Strange thing - I tried to run my antivirus AVG (cannot afford the paid kind) and it does not work on the empty desk. I downloaded another type (before, I think it is called) and he tells me I have to recharge it, it cannot open) none of the antivirus programs running on white top. But AVG works well on office work and tells me that there is no virus. Also ran malwarebytes and it took just 3 things, no change.

I tried something that I read that said to change explore explorer1 - can't remember which way that took, but I tried and no results. Also, I ran something where I typed in the MRT and a microsoft program ran saying no malicious software detected.

It is about this - someone ' an at - it a suggestion? I don't really want to wipe all out and reload windows, too many things I'm too lazy to back up.

    Thanks, Mathieu

    Hi Regis,

You can try a Startup Repair:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7

It is very similar to the SFC, but it might be useful.

I use compaq notebook pesario CQ 60 with pentium dual core inside windows vista AVG anti virus security system

    Hi sirmalik,

    ·         Did you the latest changes on the computer before this problem?

    ·         The problem occurs with all the files?

    ·         From which site you try to download the file?

    ·         What web browser do you use?

I suggest you follow these methods.

Method 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

If the problem does not persist in SafeMode with network, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 2: Try to create a new user account.

    Create a new user account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/create-a-user-account

If the problem is resolved in a new user account, you can check the link on the way below difficulty a user profile is corrupted.

  • I got my Macbook Pro hard stop. How will I know if anything has corrupted?

Completely new to this, but I had a glance through different threads and that you did not find the answer I'm after.

So, as you can see in the title, I had a problem recently where an application on my Macbook brand new exit. The window disappears, but the icon of the application does not close on my dock. I tried to force him to quit the app that does not work, and I couldn't restart / shut down my because all applications had to be closed if the end I trained performing a hard stop on my Macbook. I had to do it twice now.

Now, I have discovered the "activity monitor" and > Terminal methods to kill apps (still yet to test this on a frozen app), but I just wanted to ask if there was a way to see the damage that has been done on the 2 hard stops I made? I have transferred all my music and pictures above a hard drive and don't want to find one of these corrupt. However, I didn't have iTunes, photo, all the folders etc open so would like to think that nothing has been corrupted... Easier to think that well!

Any comments silently appreciated - thank you

Just to be on the safe side and avoid any corruption of the disk, whenever I had to make a hard stop, I reboot in Recovery Mode and make a record of first aid with disk on the device and volume utility.

If you are using a version of OS X prior to El Capitan, it is called repair disc and repair disk permissions.
