• reading of the worksheet does not all columns

  Dear users and moderator.

  I'm trying out a text delimited by tabs of the data file. I would like to transfer the data in a table 2D with VI 'Read the worksheet file', but it seems that only the first column is acquired.

  I checked and the delimiter is fine. I also tried to change the format, but without effect.

  Does anyone have an idea about the problem?

  You must put the tab delimiter character correctly. Right-click on the delimiter string constant code and select display.  It will show \\t.  Remove one of the backslashes. Otherwise, simply replace it with the character of tab delimiter string.

  I don't know if Photoshop is the best solution for the printing of DOCUMENTS scanned.  Photoshop opens a page of a DOCUMENT at a time, let's say you have a MultiPage PDF Document, when you open with the PS, tell him what page you want to open. Once you do, it will convert this page into basically a picture, a raster file that can be edited like a photo.  So if you go to print, it prints only one page, you have open...  So, if you have opened the first page of your document and go to print it, which explains why it only prints the first page.

  So is what file type of the document that you are trying to print?  If it's a PDF file, I opened it with Acrobat/Reader, depending on whether you have and that FILE you > PRINT it like that.   Or is there a particular reason (Lighten/Darken/increase contrast etc...) you are needing to go first to Photoshop?

  Give me a little more information on exactly what you're trying to do and I'll do my best to provide a workflow easier to achieve your final goal.

  I can't do the distinct only in some columns (because if I want to that they accordingly I do the separate for each other each other)... How can I do this?

  If the column will B always contained 'Buy' or 'Sell', it works. It is default to a calculation of 'sell' if sale or has been specified.

  E2: = IF (B = "Buy", D - C, C - D)

  If you want to delay the calculation until the amounts entered in C and D, use this version:

  E2: = IF (OR (LEN (C) < 1, LEN (D) < 1,"", IF (B = "Buy", D - C, C - D) ")

  If you want to delay the calculation until all three ducks are on a line (B contains buy or sell, C and D contain both data), use this version:

• Read from worksheet and chart several XY graph

  I'm reading a text file by using the function "reading worksheet. Then, I want to plot the data on a single graph XY.

  The text file contains 4 coloums and the first coloumn is X axis and the rest are for Y axis. I'm not able to get the multiple locations.

  However, I could get it to draw when only one chart must be drawn (only 2 coloumn in the file). I have attached my VI and a photo here.

  You need to build an array of clusters in several locations on a xy chart. You have created a cluster for a parcel. Again, you try to build a similar clusters for several plots.

  I use "the file.vi of the spreadsheet read" to read in data from a file that may or may not be present.  The data is not mandatory - it's optional data; Nice to have but not everyone uses.

  Of course, if the file is not present, I get a "7 error to open the file + .vifile of pen", and I have the choice to push the button 'Continue' or 'Stop '.   What I was wondering is: is there a way to have just LabVIEW automatically continue if the file is missing?  It could perhaps draw the attention of the user for the missing file, but continue anyway?   Normally I would handle this by plugging in the error of the function of an indicator of error output.  But the "reading of the file.vi worksheet" function doesn't seem to have one error output.

  I think my description of my question is sufficient, but I enclose an excerpt from my LabVIEW code that shows playback function file spreadsheet in question, and the error I get when the file is missing.

  I'm having weird issues trying to read the following worksheet file. I use a similar structure to the other 2 files of worksheet, and they work perfectly. When I try to use the following VI with the attached data file, it just seems to import a load of zeros.

  I wonder if the problem might be related to the delimiter as data are not just of values separated by commas, but there seems to be a space directly after the comma or "18.63, 18.23, 17,53' as opposed to '18.63,18.23,17.53 '.

  Can someone help me with this? I'm just trying to get some data from a data logger temperature sensor. Data being written to the worksheet constantly and I'm just trying to read the most recent value so that I can use it for further calculations.

  I create a form with the period (month jan, Feb and March) and members of the custom called Type dimension in the columns.

  Members of Type dimension I selelcted is Type1, Type2, Adj Type1 and Type2 Adj.

  My requirement is that I want to show Type1 and Type2 columns as READ ONLY where users should not enter data in these two coulmns.

  Is it possible to achieve this requirement.  I use 11.1.2.2 planning version.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Please follow the steps below to make columns read-only in Hyperion special 11.1.2.2.

  (1) to open the form in edit mode

  2) click on the Layout tab, the Layout tab is open. Please click on the underside of the column you want to do in 'read only' (A, B, C, etc.), if you have three columns, then you might see A, B and C.

  Note: The mouse cursors are very sensitive in the latest version, if you click on the right place, you will get the necessary decorum, otherwise it will appear not all properties.

  In this example, let B column read-only. Exactly to move the cursor to 'B' and click on the right side, you can see a lot of action, click on 'Properties of Segment' and under this 'Read only' option, select this check box to make the column read-only.

  Say you want to have Jan, Feb in your columns, but you want to make read-only Feb, that's what it takes

  In the columns/line under the column dimension tab

  Select period in the drop-down list, enter Jan as a member.

  Now click on add a column

  Enter Feb for the Member, click read-only.

  Ok?

  I have a file saved with 8 columns of numbers ASCII.  I want to format it so that the entrance of the polar plot will accept it.  The polar plot expects an array 1 d of amplitude AND phase.  Is that mean two numbers with a comma separation?  I can't make it work.

  There is a good example of use of the Polar curve. Open the example finder and search for Polar. The name of the vi is polar Plot Demo. You should be able to adapt to meet your needs. What kind of file saves these recorded temperatures in? You can try using the worksheet file.vi reading? You must obtain a separate column (table) of the double to power the Demo.vi. What version of LabVIEW are you using? You can download the file or is it too big? What did you use to write the file when you had the time?
