Read more data 1 byte of visa

Hi, when I use VISA to read more data of 1 byte, only the first table got the data, but I want to separate data from 40-bit to 5 tables. Does someone know how to separate data in the tables? Thank you for the reply!

Your problem is the ASCII conversion attempt.  As I said before, you have raw binary data.  Therefore do not touch anything that deals with ASCII.  All you have to do is take your byte array and convert each element in an array of Booleans.

  • How to read the date of the day of the day of the year?

    I want to put 30 days for the test of endurance for the application of the components. the user will have the current value of 30 days with specify them the end of the day.

    I saw that the "seconds to Date/Time.vi" sure I checked the day of the year. If I can use this day of the year, I can add + 30 read 30 date.

    Barros,

    What I gave was the answer you were looking for originally because I believe.  You will not just be able to read the date in a coherent way and then add 30.  You can either use the function Get time in seconds or a few varaint it and then add the offset you want (you could use the get a Date/time string and enter the date directly, but this digital conversion which will be useful in the monitoring of the time elapsed will be much more difficult than what I provided only).  If you want to stop the test, simply to keep track of the amount of time the test is in pause and extension at the time where that amount.

  • The good examples of the construction and analysis of the data in bytes?

    Hi all

    Very soon, I'll have to find a way to build messages to bytes to send to a serial port and a serial port to receive and review to the basis of events out of...

    However, before I delve into the complexities of the serial port communication and VISA, etc... I would just like to see some examples of working mainly with data of bytes.

    I found how to get a digital constant the byte value... the binary representations signed and unsigned, etc..

    However, if I could find a simple example or tutorial just to see how to assemble the byte-code... and how to analyze it, it would prove invaluable for me to study.  I've never really worked at the byte level / binary front... and a few examples with LV would be very practical.

    Anyone know of any good links out there something like this?

    I'll eventually be sending 5 bytes out I need to build... and will receive 9 bytes in, each of which I need to parse out and respond...

    Links or information GREATLY appreciated.  I'm pretty decent analysis of the chains, real expressions, etc... but never worked with the construction and analysis of the data in bytes.

    Thank you in advance,

    Cayenne

    If you are comfortable with binary data, you can use the Boolean charts. Look at the number of table Boolean and array Boolean functions numbers. Instead of masking with an AND, you can easy to use array index to check a bit particular.

  • IBRD read hexadecimal data

    using Bird reading data of the curve in SONY/TEK_370A test instrument, but the result is not correct.

    According to the Bird, the buffer is defined as type string, but the curve data are hexadecimal.

    CAN IBRD function hex reading using the buffer of type string.

    In the vbib - 32.bas module which is included in your GPIB project, calls all over I/O (ibrdi, ilrdi, ibwrti and ilwrti) are provided for users who need to perform arithmetic operations on data and want to avoid the overhead of conversion of strings required by the Bird and the ibwrt in the format of integer for arithmetic operations.

    ibrdi and ibwrti moved from the data in the form of an array of integers, instead of a string. Using these functions, you can access the data directly as integers instead of establish them as characters and then converting each pair of characters in a whole number. Internally, the ibwrti function sends each integer to the GPIB in the low, high-byte byte order. The ibrdi function reads a series of bytes of data in the GPIB and stores them in the array of integers in order of low, high-byte byte.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Switch Cisco Nexus 6004 removes more than 300 bytes IP packets

    Hi all

    We have a circuit of wave level 3 10 G running between two switches Cisco Nexus 6004. The circuit came online between our two data centers (in the same city) without problem.

    When attempting to ping to the remote-end 10G interface, it works very well with packets of 64 bytes. CDP is enabled and that we see the CDP information remote switch. However, if we increase the size of the ping to more than 300 bytes packets, we lose 1 in every 20.

    We settings MTU verifed, type of cable of 10G and duplex settings.

    Level 3A tested clean and we will move forward with more testing.

    Any ideas on the problem? We feel the carrier out and end to test with their testers. But so far, the circuit's own test. I was not sure if it is something related to Cisco. I am at a loss at the moment.

    Thank you.

    Hi Mike,.

    There is nothing wrong with your switches or circuit.  NEXUS devices have a default COPP on the control plan that limit the size and the amount of traffic that must be the CPU process.

  • Ping failed with more than 76 bytes on Codian 4510

    Hi all

    Some troubleshooting problem I stumbled across what seems to be a strange behavior with the Codian 4510. In two separate environments, I realized that ping the device with a packet size of more than 76 bytes of data results in delays as shown below. Anyone know why this happens?

    localhost: ~ jason$ ping s 76 10.2.0.208

    PING 10.2.0.208 (10.2.0.208): 76 data bytes

    84 bytes from 10.2.0.208: icmp_seq = 0 ttl = 254 times = 3,642 ms

    84 bytes from 10.2.0.208: icmp_seq = 1 ttl = 254 = ms 3,579 times

    ^ C

    -10.2.0.208 - ping statistics

    2 packets transmitted, 2 packets received, 0.0% packet loss

    round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 3.579/3.611/3.642/0.031 ms

    localhost: ~ jason$ ping s 77 10.2.0.208

    PING 10.2.0.208 (10.2.0.208): 77 data bytes

    Request timeout for icmp_seq 0

    Timeout for icmp_seq request 1

    ^ C

    -10.2.0.208 - ping statistics

    3 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, loss of packets of 100.0%

    This is normal, to avoid problems due to the too large ICMP packets.

  • How can I add more date/time

    Hello, I want to create a site with articles because its customers for events of music in my country. I can find a way to do it. Any ideas?

    Also, I want to add the date and time.

    To learn more:

    You can do this in different ways.

    1. create a page containing the long text. Create the short text in another page and make a link like "read more" to the full text.

    2. position the full text in another point of the same page and use an anchor text to access via the link "read more".

    3. (most interesting) use an Accordion widget to show/hide long text

  • link 'read more' or something else?

    I am a beginner in web design and Dreamweaver, but I made my first web site: www.vau-vau.com.hr

    now, I want to put in some articles. obviously just left of the text, then when the user presses 'read more' to open the entire article.

    pls help.

    TNX.

    There are two ways to achieve this:

    1. build a static HTML page that has the part-time segment of each coded item hard on the page, with a 'more' link to a page containing the actual article.  This is the most tedious and long term the way more difficult to do such a thing.

    2. create a database table that contains each item.  Make a page that retrieves every article of the data table, grab the X first characters of each article and lists on the page as a text segment, then links to a page display giving the identification of article in the link.  View page would then pick up this particular article from the database and display it.  It's the ideal and the best way to accomplish such a task.  It should be that your site has a server database that she (MySQL or SQL or ODBC), and that your hosting support site has some method such as PHP or ASP or ASP.NET scripting server.  It should also be that you have some skills to that selected the script method.

  • Crop the text of the XML... (how to add a read more link)

    I'm stuck... I want to have a read more link after 30 word in each paragraph of loading the xml file... Any help?

    I don't know even how to start with her... I have 5 video clips with instance name mc1, mc2, mc3, mc4 mc5. When I turn they load the content of the XML in the toolTipMC.

    Code: -.

    var x: XML = new XML();

    x.ignoreWhite = true;

    images of the var: Array = new Array();
    var titles: Array = new Array();
    Details of the var: Array = new Array();
    var urls:Array = new Array();

    x.onLoad = {function (success)}
    var locs:Array = this.firstChild.childNodes;
    for (j = 0; j < locs.length; j ++) {}
    images ["MC" +(j+1)] is locs [j].attributes.image;.
    titles ["MC" +(j+1)] = locs [j].attributes.title;
    Details ["MC" +(j+1)] = locs [j].attributes.detail;
    URLs ["MC" +(j+1)] = locs [j].attributes.url;

    }

    }

    x.Load ("Data.xml");

    myBtn.onRollOver = function() {}

    toolTipMC.img.imgHolder.loadMovie (images [this._name]);
    toolTipMC.tip.text = title [this ._name;]
    toolTipMC.detail.text = details [this ._name];

    };

    really, I don't think you should use that but, the following returns a substring which includes 29 spaces and about 30 "words":

    function textto29F(s:String):String {}

    var spaceNum:Number = 0;

    for (var i = 0; i)<>

    If (s.charAt (i) is"" ") {}

    spaceNum ++;

    {if(spaceNum==30)}

    Return s.substr(0,i);

    }

    }

    }

    s contains less than 29 places

    return s;

    }

    then change column varchar2 (4000) to a long data type.

    then download the new error message like:

    Cause: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-22295: impossible to link more LOB data and LONG columns 4000 bytes in 1 statement

    I think that time limit of data type is only 2 Giga bytes, do we need to change the data type of this column to

    Or an experience to draw from this kind of error?

    Has LONG been deprecated for a (pardon the pun) a very long time.

    CLOB would be your horse if you need store more than 4000 bytes of information.

    If you need help with that (insert via java), this can provide useful information for you.
