  I use NI CRIO-9073 and labview 8.6. I am sending & receiving of real-time data to the host (with swicth) pc. This interval of data communication is 8milisec and milisec 10 so how do I equalize my write and read rates for example 8 miliseconds. If I can do it, I can't lose my logging data.

  I have a pictures folder that I'm trying to change with Windows Photo Gallery and save the original name, so to replace the original... but whenever I make changes, it says

  I unchecked the read-only check box in the folder options and click on 'apply', but this did not help, because it still won't let me save the changes, and when I go back to the options of folder again the read-only box is checked again!

  The parameter 'read only' is an attribute of file having no real impact on the security settings of the individual files under it. You need to go to the Security tab of the folder properties and appropriately modify the permissions of the folder it.  In which case it's a remote shared folder you will need to do it from the computer sharing the folder, also change the share permissions to allow remote clients to write in it.

  I have a D630 with the latest SIGMATEL drivers installed and I have the infamous 'Read Microphone' problem.

  I crossed the portable Audio Help FAQ and make the suggested registry changes, but this did not allow Microphone playback on my system.

  I am running Windows XP SP2 x 32.

  Any help on how to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated!

  I just don't have access to the VDDK header files, but if I remember correctly it VIXDISKLIB_SECTOR_SIZE is defined in vixDiskLib.h. Currently, sector size is 512 bytes. So to convert the lengths and the sectors byte offsets, you need to calculate as follows:

  bytes/VIXDISKLIB_SECTOR_SIZE

  and you should be fine :-)

  When you start your pc, press the F8 key to bring up the menu in advanced mode (you will need to keep tapping F8 after your early pc and passes the BIOS and before windows xp screen screen), select the VGA Mode (if available) and press ENTER. This will start your computer in VGA Diagnostic mode, you should be able to see your screen and connect. After login, click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> display-> settings-> Advanced-> monitor and select 60 in the drop-down list box.

  Click ok on the screen. Perform the normal restart and see if it works.

  If you don't get the option for the VGA Mode, select Safe mode and accomplish the foregoing to see if it works.

  I use the property system DAQmx node to read all the data the scale for global for thermocouple in MAX I use MAX 4.4, LV7.1.1, with a SCXI chassis in a PXI-1050 chassis. It seems to read the properties very well on first run. To get it to read the changed data, it must close the VI, and then reopen it. It's painful when you recalibrate a vast set of thermocouples using MAX.

  Your main VI has not been updated is because you do not clearly the task after every time you call the DAQmx property node.

  I'm trying to use CC2015 (currently use CC2014) but I am struggling to change the sampling frequency.  It is easy to change w/2014.  It is fixed at 48 k in CC2015 and I would like to change from 44.1.  There is no option for this in the drop down menu (although my card supports the lower rate).  I'm using a saffire pro 24 dsp.  In fact, I went in the control panel of this sound card to see if I can adjust here (even if - ever due in 2014), but it does not give me an option.

  First of all, you're on a Mac or a PC? In the hardware Audio hearing set up page what should I have selected in the class of device? What sampling frequency is the watch as shown in the article of the Saffire MixControl State of the device? You should be able to change the sample here, but maybe not while the hearing is open.

  Also on the page of audio of the hearing you have the "strength material attempt to document sampling frequency" box checked or unchecked? Try tick or untick this box.

  Unfortunately, I think that CC 2014 has tried to protect the user against rate changes of sample size which means that sometimes hearing automatically made a sampling rate Conversion if the material match those of the hearing. It wasn't really a good idea, even if it is easier for the novice user. So now you may have to manually adjust both.
