If USB drives do not pass the test of speed when they are plugged, then the
ReadyBoost tab will not appear. Many readers is not fast enough and
that includes many who claim they are compatible ReadyBoost.

It is a general performance troubleshooting utility, but the same methods will contribute to
see if there is something causing problems running with ReadyBoost. And you may need
to make a discount or even a reset (even if you said it was not an option).
You use a 3rd party antivirus/antispyware/security program? If so many people

Check with the support of the system Maker (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems), their

Note the use of Win Key + X and Win Key + W (to go on the Control Panel, Run and parameters

Check startup programs.

Limitations of ReadyBoost in Windows 7?
After having read that ReadyBoost in Windows 7 manages up to 256 GB on eight devices, I bought a 16 GB Sandisk Cruzer USB flash key, claiming that increased use of ReadyBoost. However, when I ask to Windows 7 (64 bit Ultimate) to use the flash only stick for ReadyBoost, it says it can use up to 4 GB to 16 GB. (I have 8 GB of RAM installed, but I guess that just on the ReadyBoost). SanDisk support claims that this is a limitation of Windows 7. After some research, I found that Vista also has ReadyBoost, but limited to 4 GB. Perhaps this device was designed for Vista and take advantage of the upper limits of Win 7? I am disappointed and perplexed. Any input would be appreciated.
I'm trying to remember, but I think that the file format limits you. If you have a 32 or FAT16 format then 4gig limits, but if you use NTFS or exFAT (consider using exFAT if you do not need to use the stick in the old OSs) it must use all of it. I use a 8gig exFAT bat and it is accepted for Readyboost.

How to get Windows 7 to recognize more than 4 GB or 8 GB USB driver for ReadyBoost?
I have a USB stick 8 GB that I used it with Vista for ReadyBoost. Of course Vista only recognized 4 GB for ReadyBoost, but Windows 7 is supposed to recognize more. However, Windows 7 recognizes more than 4 GB stick for ReadyBoost. How can I get Windows & to recognize more than 4 GB for the ReadyBoost.
Hello
You can try to format the disk in the format exFAT? Open computer with the inserted Flash drive. It just right-click on it and select format. The last option, you will see is exFAT and there, use the menu drop down. Select and format the drive using this. Then after it's done, right click on it again and select Properties. You'll see the ReadyBoost tab. Click on it and it will let you know if the device can be used and that therefore to ripped it on.

Equium A200 PSAE8E: Windows ReadyDrive disabled
In my PSAE8E Toshiba Satellite A200 - 001001IT, even using the most recent bios with Windows Vista 32, Intel Turbo Memory v. 1.5.0.1013 v.2.10 always reports that ReadyBoost in Windows is checked, and Windows ReadyDrive is not. If I turn it on, it take turns back on off then reboot to apply the new Intel Turbo Memory settings.
This is a physical limitation or a software bug?

SanDisk Extreme 64 GB readyboost compatible?
Hey all.
I can't find the answer to this question anywhere on the net.
SanDisk 64 GB Extreme is compatible with readyboost for windows 8.1?
Thank you!
Hello
as far as I know, you can use any available with Windows ready boost FlashDrive. but I also know that Sandisk did not recommend this use due to the fact that the flash player will not wear in a period very short and may be you will lose data.
so I suggest you to use the drive as a normal storage device.

ReadyBoost - tab is missing in the properties, and it does not work!
Title says it all. When I insert a disc and the Autorun dialog opens, if I click "Speed up my system" it just opens the property page for the device with the free space, etc. The ReadyBoost tab isn't there.
I especially don't think that I NEED, I'm 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium with 4 GB of RAM. But this isn't the point, please do not answer with "you don't need, so don't bother. All I see is that is not a feature that is supposed to be there, if I need it or not, it could indicate a bigger problem with my PC.
Where the ReadyBoost tab? I know in Win7, the service is incorporated with Superfetch, and I checked this service is launched and automatic. I tried to format the USB key as each file system and also tried the switching device to "Optimize for performance" etc. Nothing. I ran "sfc/scannow", and he found no problem.
Any help guys?

ReadyBoost in Windows 7 is much better integrated and provides even better than Vista speed.

There is no such thing as ReadyBoost on Services
I just learn about ReadyBoost and you want to use it, but it is not on my list of Services (Local). In alphabetical order, he goes from 'Quality Windows Audio Video Experience' to "Remote Access Auto Connection Manager". It simply isn't there. I have a system Dell XPS 7 years under Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1. Is there a place I can download ReadyBoost outwardly into my Services menu so I can use it or any other means by which I can access? Just to be clear: this isn't about activation or deactivation, find AutoPlay, etc.. (I already read all the messages.) It comes from not NOT the HAVE AT ALL! Someone please help! Thank you very much in advance.

I am unable to use USB Stick 2.0 as ReadyBoost
I'm playing a game that needs 4 GB of memory RAM. I have 3 GB. I heqrd that you can increase the RAM using a key 2.0 usb. Then I turned on Sysmain and tried my USB ReadyBoost. But it says:
This device cannot be used for Readyboost.
ReadyBoost is not enabled on this computer because the system disk is fairly quickly, so that the computer problably ReadyBoost will not accelerate.
Problem well here, I will not speed up the computer I want to just play the game who does not start without RAM of 4 GB.
So, how can I fix?

Most wireless mice have problems with gel and erratic movement. People have done everything to keep only new, fresh batteries in them all the time, tying tape receivers upside down under a desk because of interference from other wireless devices in the area, setting up a secure connection and updated the software of the manufacturer. If patches are different for each person, but do not seem to be associated with something specific to Vista. If you do a search for 'mouse wireless upward and erratic freezing', you will see every post that I talk to all the different answers that worked for some people. Another thing I've seen is to change the channel. Here is the link to Logitech mouse forum: http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board?board.id=hardware_mice&nobounceInterference is inherent to any wireless device and more us consumers fill our homes with wireless devices, more we excaberate problems by ourselves. I hope this information was useful for you. Let us know if you need more assistance.

Is it on the w7 of Microsoft. O\S? Where is - can anyone tell me?

Hello
You don't need to buy/install additional software to get ReadyBoost on Windows 7. Please see:

Hi all
Game performance increase by ReadyBoost in Windows technology?ReadyBoost provides an additional cache that allows you to read data from your hard drive faster than the hard drive itself. It is not a 'memory RAM', but it can be used to unload your system RAM from similar to caching techniques if the amount of available RAM is low. On the other hand, using an external USB device operations are significantly slower that operations within the actual system memory, so memory problems on game performance should be addressed by increasing the system RAM.
Two observations: I tried ReadyBoost with 1.5 GB of RAM system and did not notice any improvement (maybe even some decrease in performance because of the additional operations of unloading on the USB device). With 8 GB of RAM, the most gourmet of memory games are rarely more than 3 GB, so there is no need of 'tricks '.
Wrote BossDweebe, gives another aspect: 'Memory' for the games includes both large and largely independent, video memory and system memory. Memory system provides the data read / write to the hard disk, video memory (on the GPU / video card) allows to treat by the GPU calculations faster. You cannot accelerate the VRAM by increasing the system RAM and vice versa.
