Real upgrade of Toshiba said not authentic
From time to time Windows tells me to start that my copy is maybe not authentic and that it requires activation. I click Activate and it does it in a fraction of a second. Genuine Toshiba upgrade DVD sent at Toshiba. Updated for Vista.
Satellite L300 29W.
Not really a problem, but it's annoying that I paid for a genuine copy.
No idea why and how can I stop it?
Hello
When you say you upgraded, you don't have installed 7 on Vista, or do you have to format and do a clean install? I think that, you install on vista. If so, try to do a clean install

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit suddenly said not authentic
Hello people
Several years ago, I bought Windows 7 Ultimate Online to upgrade to Vista that was installed when the laptop was purchased new. I had no problems with it until 2 days ago when I booted up the laptop and was greeted with a box saying that this copy of windows is not genuine. I can't find the activation key. Have searched online for information and the solution, I'm still confused of what scenario applies to me. I pasted a copy of the diagnostic report. I hope you can help us?
Kind regards
Louise

RE: your Windows Vista is not genuine
Please take a look at this article/answer given by Keith, the moderator of the forum
There is no such thing as Windows Vista 2009 or 2010 Windows Vista.
Are you actually referring to Microsoft Office 2009 and 2010?In any case...
1. you should post this question in installation, upgrade, and activate forum
http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-windows_install?tab=unanswered
2. If it will make it easier for you, you can use the forum on French language for your questions

Friend upgrade XP to windows 7. not authentic Windows message receipt. Buy Windows 7 and downloaded to "fix the problem". Computer crashed, but I got a new drive. Should I try install
Hello
So the Windows 7 machine is fine, but its also empty! That we can help you. The XP machine is another matter. If you want to upgrade these machines to Windows 7, and the minimum hardware requirement is met, you can buy discs of software of Windows 7 operating system for each machine (1 motherboard = 1 license for purchased software).
In addition, I highly recommend you reformat two machines for them to XP RID completely, not to mention viruses / malware. If you plan to update the two XP machines with own versions of XP, that's fine, but this isn't the forum for this, the Windows XP forum would be the place, go here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp?tab=QnA .
Thus, the machine to Windows 7. To take no chances. Allows to run several scans on the new machine. You said "didn't work any more", I suppose you can't start Windows, ways to correct? If so, the answer is a program you burn on a CD called BootMed; Download 64-bit here: http://download.cnet.com/BootMed-64Bit/3000-2094_4-75450831.html and the 32-bit version from here: http://download.cnet.com/BootMed/3000-2094_4-75448200.html (only use the Direct download link).
Once downloaded, burn it to a CD, load this CD in Windows 7 computer and ensure that the CD drive is the first boot device, restart the computer. This will load a modified version of Ubuntu on your system, which includes antivirus and anti-malware programs. Run and remove anything they find. When they have finished their trial scans restarting the computer without the CD installed. What happens now?
Post your results here and let me know how you fare.
Kind regards

Now my Toshiba Windows Vista Business OEMA is not authentic. Why?
Today, my genuine Windows Vista business, after you run the usual windows update, is displayed in the Office a message. "" This copy of Windows is not genuine ". He has never happenned before and my laptop has a label in the back with the product as a Toshiba OEMA key. The pc (where I'm typing this message) is a Toshiba Tecra M10 authentic PTMB3E!
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, pleasePlease also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you a) in the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but does NOT quote the key on the sticker!

original title: with Acer Aspire Vista Help
Well, here's the story, I bought an Acer aspire T180 a few years back from Best Buy with Windows Vista installed. The only drive I received was a Vista Upgrade disc. Fast forward a few months computer slows down, etc so I thought I'd see any control and maybe cleaning the system some. Put my disk to upgrade looking for the way to do it. Make the mistake of installing the upgrade. now I have the upgrade on my computer and it always tells me that I have a version of windows that is not authentic. I tried to use my COA on upgrade drive, does not recognize and COST on the case of my Aspire, once again with the same result. I have my old version under windows.old, but can't seem to install it. I would just go back to my Vista OEM install. I have access to another computer, but it is an Apple and prefer if I didn't use this option unless it makes it easier. I guess what I'm asking, it's just to get back to my legal version on this computer, would like to keep files, but if can't, I would like to do a clean reinstall. Mine is out of warranty, so no help from Best Buy or Acer without paying theirYou are welcome.
But try first to borrow a Microsoft Vista DVD of an acquantance of work for this restoration instead of a full recovery.
See you soon.

Depends entirely on this laptop you have. If it has a 64-bit processor
You can use 64-bit Windows. If a 32-bit CPU, you can't.If you don't know you have, hold down the Windows key and press
Break | Break. It will tell you if you have a 32-bit
processor or 64-bit processor. -
Windows 7 Home Premium also said that it is not authentic.
Original title: Windows 7 Home Premium MSDN Version.
I have an MSDN license and my Windows 7 Home Premium said again that it is not authentic. Any ideas that I can do to solve this problem.
Is there an expiration?
You actually have a MSDN subscription where you obtained this license or did you get the someones MSDN subscription license?
If you got someone, then the license is used. If its your subscription, you have a few options.
Reactivate the existing product key by phone or get another key for Windows 7 Home Premium on your subscription and use it.
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

I eventually had to buy a new copy of microsoft and this one is now said that it is not authentic having been very well for more than 3 weeks. The only change that I made today is installing gigabytes 3TG unlock app to allow my 3 TB drive be seen. Here are the results of the MGAgiag tool:

Vista Home Premium suddenly said that my product is not authentic...
I bought my laptop years ago, it came with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium preinstalled. It was working fine up until a week or two ago when it suddenly appeared saying that my product is not authentic. Help me please!
Thanks in advance.
-* in your own thread *, pleasePlease also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case with your machine, but do NOT quote the key on the sticker!

My Windows Vista computer is slow and said that it is not authentic.
Vista has been installed on the computer. I bought the computer new out of the box. Dell. Now Vista runs slowly, and the researcher indexer does not work. And there is this copy of Windows is not genuine at the bottom of my screen. And pop up saying something like it keeps coming back.
original title: not authentic Windows VistaHello
did you do the 'Activation of WIndows' (via the Internet or by telephone)? See here:

Is the same for Vista too.

The Adobe software you are using is not authentic. CS6 is suddenly 'not real '?
I've been running the CS6 Production Premium since February 2015. It was purchased and downloaded directly on Adobe.com.
Today when I started After Effects received a warning that my software is not genuine. By clicking on 'other info' found that all products spend their license status, but they are that everyone listed as 'software falsified. "
I did not alter the software in any way. It's a clean install on a Mac under El Capitan.
Adobe recommends 3 steps to protect my work and myself:
1. replace the non-genuine software, you use with the genuine Adobe software
2 uninstall the non-genuine software on your machine
3. help others reports the dealer who sold you the software not authentic
So I thought I should report the dealer who sold me the software. He has been to Adobe.com.
I'm afraid to try to uninstall and then reinstall it in case it is blocked. It seems to work fine now.
Anyone else having this problem?
Hi Cmaynard69,
Added what Sheena suggested, please lets you check this link: FAQ authentic Adobe software and more information on authentic Adobe software.
Meanwhile, please share the serial number that you used to activate the application and "Your ID" as shown in the screenshot via private message so that we can validate the details and help you in the next action plan.
Thank you.
