Really screwed up installation 4630

I've really fouled upward work on installation 4630. My attempts to solve a problem, I think I opened a hornet's nest.

I think I have to do is to go back to square one with a clean slate, as if he had never been a 4630 on my computer and then go through the step by step installation procedure. As it is, I can't delete the 4630 of the list of devices. When I get rid of him, another 4630 icon appears, and this is the one that I can't get rid of. Re-start, with the printer turned off and re-don't start with the printer makes no difference. Bottom line, it's that I can't print more.

I have a USB connection, but apparently a wireless component has been activated that interfered with my connection to the network. I don't need or want the wireless component if it is going to cause so much mayhem.

Is a zero off everything up to this point?

    Hello

"I ran some of my cleaning utilities and they have got rid of a lot of files."

You should NEVER use Registry cleaners and delete files using them.

in safe mode simply load the drivers and then simply do nothing

any help would be appreciated as long as it's not yet my phone :(

    Hi Andy,.

Obvious virus cause your laptop to restart would be a variant of the Sasser worm, although this would usually the boot is completed before the kickoff of the reboot cycle again.

I assume that you run an up-to-date antivirus product on your laptop, in which case I suggest you check their web site for more information on how to remove a virus has infected your system, but if you can't boot your laptop then you will be unable to make a diagnosis.

As a last resort you could restore the system from the last good backup you have (still assuming that you take regular backups, of course) or just reinstall from the beginning using the recovery CD or product CD.

By default, only a normal file based Virtual Machine created with VMware Fusion is placed in the folder of ~/Documents/Virtual Machines and is created as a Virtual Machine package.  In General, this package can reside anywhere where the user wants and that appropriate conditions so that there are, as the permissions to read, write and execute and free enough disk space is available.  If you made under an account name are connected in a different account on the Mac name, then you can move it to another location if you want to, and it has nothing to do with the application VMware Fusion itself other then it closed when moving the entire Virtual Machine.  It is a task of the user base for Mac OS X.  In other words the files of the user management.  For a background reference, take a look at: have a look to: sharing a VM between users on Mac OS

Once you have moved simply you double-click on the packaging of the VM to have its entry show in the Virtual Machine library and can remove all invalid entries by ctrl-clicking, and delete.

  • Windows Vista SP2 installation error loop (x 64) 0xc0190036 error number

Hello, after installing SP2, I constantly make the same mistake, the bad thing is, insteath to back off, the SP2 update keep trying on and again and again to change the file that contains an error (file checks! error 0 x 00190036 mshtml.tlb!).
now... I think that microsoft really screw them this time, because the installation program runs in any mode of windows, that is to say, cannot go to safe mode to attempt to recover from there, it's just again ONCE the attempt to install the sloppy SP2, restart the computer does nothing, as the update again will activate itself , so I always end up stuck in this part of the file with this error code mshtml.tlb (it continues to blink constantly as his try again and again access the file)

    Specs: Windows Vista SP1 Ultimate x 64
    GA - X 48 - DS4
    Q6600 @ 3 Ghz Kentsfield.
    4 x 2 GB (8 GB ddr2 800 Mhz)
    Sapphire Hd 3870
    2 x Western Digital Caviar (500 + 160 Gb) + Seagate 250 GB
    Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Zs

Previous mistakes: I could never install IExplorer 8, it still reported a similar error, but with the ieunit file (don't remember the exact file currently extension)

so the question is: will there be a fix for this problem? or do I just simply restore and try to recover manually in the hardway (Ie, run the Vista cd repair tool)
im not wanting to use the repairtool, because he already ruined an once installation after a poor pass from windows update.

    * edit *.
just to correct the incorrect error code, the correct error code reported is: 0xc0190036

Sometimes the error is then replaced 0 x 0190002 then 0xc0190005 when stopping down.

Note that I am on windows vista ultimate SP1 x 64 = programmer Noob =-

    Hi Tamalero,

You got the error message indicates that mshtml.tlb is damaged and there is one possibility of other files system is corrupted as well. All what we need to do is to rename the DLLs corrupted, restart the computer and let start the computer normally to complete the installation. Follow these steps to rename the corrupted dll file.

    (1) Insert the windows vista dvd and boot from the dvd.

    (2) select repair your computer.

    3) click on command prompt

Type the following commands and press ENTER after each line

    C:

    CD windows

    CD system32

    Mshtml.tlb.old mshtml.tlb Ren

    (4) output from command line

    (5) restart the computer and boot up normally

If you GET the black screen with a similar error and one different (other than mshtml.tlb) file, make a note of the dll file, repeat steps 1 to 5 and type the name of the file in step 3.

Restart the computer. It may take a while and you will be asked to connect to the desktop computer.

Check in system properties if SP2 is installed.

I hope this works. If you still have problem please do after back...

    Thank you.

    Hi error_counter here:
do a "repair" is only starting problems, and once they are solved, the problem persists (mshtml.tlb error)
I tried to remove this file, but then the error from 0xc01900036 at 0 x 000034
so I'm stuck again, I don't know why the file mshtml.tlb is really important to "detect" If service pack updates it anyway.

and like I said, even though vista windows SP1 supposedly has DONE a system restore point, no system restore points were detected by the dvd (one of the things that I hate about Vista than their restore points are a draw, and you can get by no unnecessary work anytime..)

the thing which allow me to return back to SP1 followed the instructions of another post here, related to the error 0 x 000034 in this forum but for SP1.
I went to the c:\windows\system32 directory and renaming of software files, security, SAM and default and replace them with copies of the REGBACK folder in system32\config
It could back me to SP1, unfortunately a quirk stuck me then in an infinite "configuration updates 3 of 3" forever time it boots (it restarts itself after a few days). and had to delete pending.xml file

That did the trick... for now, since everything appears to be damaged (I can use the program and the work very well, but no file windows update will not work).
SFC detects inconsistencies but he did not get to 100%, it stops at 34% saying it had problems and "could not perform the requested operation."
I also tried different microsoft tools. as the URSCheck and he only says: "this update does not apply to your machine.

so I guess my whole installation is really really corrupt (and makes me really hate Vista more reason, until now almost all my facilities or computers other people that contains vista, are full of mistakes or quirkcs diferent that prevents normal use.)

so Im trying to install Windows 7 in another partition and Im thinking in whiping it that soon everything is installed there.

  • Window a lot of installation errors in the event log, model of the printer incorrectly installed

My event or the error log indicates Windows Installer problems more than a thousand and a bad HP all in one model has been installed, a 1350 Officejet.  I have two ink jet while UNITS, 1310 Series.  One is 1315xi.    I downloaded their removal for Officejet 1350 utility, but there is something inconsistent with IE 8, a HTTP 403 error, what page I can not even need, if I could get a HP technician to make a withdrawal of Assistance away from the wrong model.

I use a Compaq Presario XP Home, SP3 2002.   Could get a new all-in-one, I know, but probably it wouldn't work, with all these errors.  My system restore does not go far enough.   SOMETHING caused its previous close and start all over again.

Where everyone is familiar with the program of uninstalling/1350 washer, I can get the page of 7ZS3FF tmp file to open, but there a list of files BACK, before he gets to the four steps that were mentioned only.    I'm supposed to be able to simply highlight the icons and delete?   I tried this and nothing happened.  Then I got a message that is (?) want to install an add-on (for compatibility?)  which takes 2 minutes, with my broadband.   I think it's the site of HP Tech that that could not open, if my memory is good.   How to get to them to do just a Remote Assistance 1350 move?   Has anyone ever really resolved Windows Installer?  It sometimes works right?    TIA.

Bless you, Neo.    Yesterday afternoon and evening, I managed to remove bad model photosmart printer who had downloaded accidentally, using a link that is probably another version of one that you gave, in another forum someone had given, called a scrubber.   I'm looking for the Kudo and buttons thanks, as usual, always have a little hard to find.

Your solution must be mailed as a tip somewhere easy for beginners to find.   You probably know a good place to put it.   Link scrubber of HP that I used to put an icon on my screen, so I can use it if this error occurs again, I'm sure.    Perhaps including that cleaning the permanent contacts, even if the cartridges are brand new, can get rid of the red flashing light "check cartridge", and the constant popup your cartridge is not installed correctly.  Only, I used a dry tissue, I forgot where I put my distilled water you just dampen your laundry with and can probably get too wet.    My "TIA" was actually and abbreviation of Thx in advance, just as 'Neo' is my lshortcut for your longer name, ha ha.   It is correct.  You may think of the technology, and it's good.   Thanks again and now hunting for the buttons.   Nice day.

  • Yellow cast in rgb preview after installation of Windows 7

After installing Windows 7 on my Vista OS Photoshop has applied a clear yellow cast to everything I try to view in color of competition mode. So something white looks yellow, and all other colors have a shade of yellow. It's really screwing my web design productivity because while I create my files I don't know what the actual color/saturation is going to look like until I have save the drawing and show in Explorer.

I called Adobe tech support on this issue more than a week. Together, we have checked my profile and settings of the monitor color, installed all updates of Photoshop, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled the program. After an hour to do all these things, we had not yet solved the problem. Adobe technology says that they "would increase" my ticket, but a week later I had always heard nothing more about the problem. When I reminded yesterday, they said they are aware of the problem Windows 7 but currently don't have a fix for it, and told me that although they knew how to solve the problem they would call me. Meanwhile, the yellow continues and I find myself here clueless and pressing my fingers. Specifically, I see yellow when I go to VIEW > color to test (using the options test offered in the drop-down menu - "Monitor RGB" is my goal.) has anyone else experienced this and may have found a solution (with or without the help of Adobe)? I'm open to suggestions or alternative solutions. It's extremely frustrating. Thank you!

Windows 7 aero is much better then in Vista. Many problems have been resolved. Windows 7 has also its own monitor color adjustment tool built in. Maybe this is fighting with other software or profiles of school boards. I'm not on my computer windows 7 now. I'm going to fire later and see what I can find with the CS4 and settings. I know there a few days that CS4 was very well on windows 7 colorwise.

  • iMac late 2013 OSX El Capitan - Fans Blazing at startup

    Hello Apple community,

I've just updated to OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 version and now my 21.5-inch iMac late 2013 (16 GB of RAM, 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7) is blasting his fans constantly as long as it is turned. This behavior began as soon as the machine has restarted in update mode, update of OS X El Capitan. Now, whenever the machine is operated - same start-up and before logon! -, fans of the machine are on stronger that I've ever heard, and they stay at this level constantly.

Activity Monitor indicates that only 7.89% CPU is used by the system to the Max and 3.0% user, but usually sat at > 95% of processor inactivity levels. 6.87 GB of the 16 GB of RAM is being used (Google Chrome) but close all applications does not change the behavior of fan. Impact of energy remains at a level of reference, unless I open an application - then it spikes briefly before returning to almost zero. Disk seems very active. 4.16 GB read and 1000 MB > writing whenever I load the tab Network tab. seems active, but by far the majority of the data being sent is chrome, which - again-, when stop is not the problem.

I tried resetting the SMC and the PRAM, but no effect.

The fans turn on and go up to full power as soon as I press the power button and stay on until the computer has completely shut down. In addition, while resetting the PRAM, the fans went when I turned on the power first, then remained on all by pressing the P, R, option and command keys while the computer has been restarted.

I never heard my computer even use before fans, save for two instances when I was exporting a lot of audio in Cubase. Now they are on to what I assume is their top speed and they never again down a moment until the computer turns off.

Basically, as long as the machine has the power, it uses the fans at top speed.

I guess that's not very good for my machine.

Can you help me with this problem?

    Thank you

    Shrooblord

I also ran an Apple Hardware Test, and he returned with the PFM001 code that denotes a problem with the MSC. He advised me to go to an Apple store for repair. My iMac is still valid for the AppleCare warranty, so I guess I could do it.

But before I have return my computer, I want to know if you happen to have advice about issues related to the software maybe?

The problem started when I installed OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 - was not fans notice before that time. Would the update * really * screwed up my material of the moment where he started the installation? This seems unlikely.

  • Vista Start black normal & all Security Modes, restore fails, screensaver ŒUVRES

Yesterday (18/06/09) I installed a few new updates, but is not a restart.  Today, the system was sitting idle (, but nobody use it) and we had a power failure.  Restart the system wanted to make a volume control.  During the audit, he found a bunch of bad index entries.  The files went flying by pretty fast, but I could tell that many of them had something to do with Media Center.  Then later in the repair of the volume, she added a bunch of orphaned files.  I couldn't give a sense these files because all the entries were similar to Hex IDs.

So that brings us to today.  The system starts with black screen with a mouse pointer.  System knows I have 2 monitors connected & I can move the mouse between the two monitors.  With the help of other boots (via F8 in the boot menu) produced similar results, except in safe mode boots, the system does not know the 2nd monitor.  CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing.  (Do NOT bring up the Task Manager.)  The SHIFT key to display the Sticky Keys dialog box.  After a while, the screen saver turns on.  With screensaver KB/mouse activity outputs and system back to black screen.

All the security startup black screen Modes.
Low-resolution video starts with black screen.
Black screen on startup of the diagnostic Mode.
Directory Services Restore Mode reports all my disks are clean and black screen on startup.
Sleep key works.  Wake up, the system returns to black screen.

OK, here's a little recap... BLACK SCREEN!

So next I tried the repair your computer...

Log in to my account admin OK.  Then I tried to Startup Repair which could not detect a problem.  Then I tried the system restore.  System Restore is all my restore points registered in April ' 09.  System Restore Gets an error and fails to load any restore point.  I have two different messages depending on what point of restoration, I try.

2 most recent restore points are of yesterday and today and the updates, I just installed but never rebooted before the power failure disk check.  When I try these 2 restore points, I get the following:

The configuration register is corrupted. (0x800703F1)

If I try the old restore points, I get:

Cannot open the file transactionally, because its identity is function
on the outcome of a transaction not resolved.  (0x80071AA7)

Reading through the error of this last web messages makes me think to there is a bad dependency in the update / restore of the system process.  If pending updates become corrupt, old restore points will fail.  Is this true?

I can boot from a CD-ROM of 3rd party and see my programs and data on the disk.  I did a full inspection, but it seems that all of my stuff is still there.

So finally I tried to reinstall my Vista system, and my only option is to replace my entire system.  The update option is grayed out.  I used to be able to do a re-install/upgrade to update in the old days (XT & before), but it seems that it's not possible with Vista.  It would be great if I had my old system before SP1, and then I could re - install SP1 & all of my updates.  But it would be impossible for me to recreate my 1 TB from scratch system.  Simply, I have enough DVDS to back up a lot of data.

Is there a solution to my boot at the digital black problem, or I'm really screwed?  A reasonable solution is much appreciated.

    ==============

    UPDATE...

I can access shared folders on the blackened on Vista machine.  I created my user account on another computer (Win XP) and am also able to access all my user files.  In addition to the screen saver and the sticky keys work, it seems that file sharing works also.  However, the printer share and office remotely (using Ultra VNC) do not work.

Hey Ken, I just reread your post previous and tried your procedure.  Are your steps to perform a repair install on Windows site:

    1. Insert the Windows installation disc in your computer's DVD or CD drive. You must start Windows installation while running your existing version of Windows.

    2. on the Install Windows page, click install now .

    3. on the get updates for installation page, we recommend getting the latest updates to help ensure a successful installation and to help protect your computer against security threats. You will need an Internet connection to get the installation updates.

    4. on the Type your product key for activation , we strongly recommend that you type your 25-character product key in order to avoid problems during activation.

    5. on the page Please read the terms of the license , if you accept the license terms, click I accept the terms of the license .

    6. to the which type of installation you want? page, click upgrade to begin the upgrade. You can see a compatibility report.

    7 follow the instructions.

Note : If your installation disc doesn't include SP1 , and you are updated, then you must uninstall it before proceeding with an update install. Start-> Control Panel-> programs-> see installed updates , then select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows and click on Uninstall.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck on the first step.  Start a Windows installation when executing my existing version of Windows when my existing version of Windows starts with a black screen, and the only interaction of console, I am able to do what a screen saver and the Sticky Keys dialog box?  What is the trick to start installation?  I can't find.  Is there a way to launch the installation with the keys dialog box to sticky?

In addition, in the case where I, how to uninstall SP1 from a black screen?  The dialog box of the sticky keys which they as well?

I know that other messages that other users could not bring up the Task Manager with CTRL-ALT-DELETE.  As I said in my original post, I can't do it.  THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS FOR ME IS THE STICKY KEYS DIALOG BOX.  So I do not buy any version of Vista at all costs will have what I need because Windows Vista just can't do a re - installed on-site if your Windows Vista is not running after a black screen.  Right?

I'm getting very frustrated and would be very grateful for any help.  I just can't figure how to get the computer do anything when the only thing it starts is a black screen.  And none of my restore points can be restored.  I thought that the system restore has been the goal of the restoration of the system.  Why my Vista system locks my system restore? I don't understand!

I think that this last update not to not fill properly and locked up my system.  Is it possible for me to undo than a black screen or a Setup disk?

BTW, Western Digital diagnostics transmitted without error.  Then at the command prompt on my Vista disk, I ran chkdsk and it fixed some files.  I think they were just left by a system restore failed.  So I ran sfc from the command prompt using sfc/scannow damaged = c: \ /offwindir = c:\windows.  He ran for a while and there was no violation of integrity.  If the drive seems fine.  Are there tools that can help me find the problem?  Is that what I can do to restore the registry to an earlier time manually?

  • Connection of several call library function node

First of all, I apologize if some of these issues are pretty basic. For my work, I have been teaching myself LabVIEW (using one of the books) for the last two months, in addition to a course of semesters of C++ software development. I have flowed through a few examples from the book and have searched these forums + google search, but I found the contradictory and confusing information on how to manage the C string data.

I have attached a photo of the block diagram, the real VI and a manual describing the .dll file I'll call you. My real application is more complicated than what I've built here (I installed a trial version free at home, since I can't bring my lab computers files due to their having no do not have access to the internet...) There install everything for us, but it's a side story!), but deals with execution other than that, as I have the VI wrapped around an imposing event that runs based on which side a user presses the button, messages pop up additional user, etc..

In the end, I'll implement a program which allows a user presses a single button that sends a bunch of instructions to an instrument, where requested orders have been compiled by the society of the instrument in a couple of .dll files. The instrument itself be held the certain function specifications, so there is not much need to worry to get somewhere, out string parameters to be stored, and there is no reception data of the instrument: it simply distributes liquid charges based on what parameters I pass to it. Given the same internet connection problems, I have to wait a few weeks for my IT team installed a decompiler of .dll file on the computer that has installed LabVIEW so that I hope that I can directly import the header file in the Import Wizard. I worked out of their manual without even being able to look in the .dll file (which may be more documentation), and they do not have the more detailed documentation on their data types (even if maybe these data types are public knowledge, and I'm just missing something). I went ahead and copied + pasted some of their function prototypes + example code pages 16 and 17 of the provided pdf (it looks like to me a C calling convention):

'Functions of the DLL to talk to the PiezoElectronics.

Public Function declare bfx_piezo_OpenPort Lib "bfx_piezocontrol.dll" (ByVal portname As String) As Integer

Only four interested features me search piezo, open port, configure piezo and piezo installation, as seen on my block diagram. My questions concern only the setup functions / openport piezo and how I built the library call nodes function, since these would also address how to set up the other two. When running VI, I get the error code is 1517, with installation function highlighted, leading me to believe that I have this feature badly adjusted upward (and Potentially openport, explained in the next paragraph).

Function to open the port has two string parameters that are passed by reference, and configure the function takes one of the following strings as a call by value. Can I just wire them together as I did, or is it necessary to do something in the sense of adding a sub - VI GetValueAtPointer to dereference firstly, the pointer to the string and then spend the actual string on the second node?

To specify the data types in the function library call nodes, I have all channels like C strings, double as double, return numeric values as integers signed 32 (each function returns a digital long I think that for debugging purposes), Boolean as an integer 16 bit signed (after that I forced my Boolean constant in an integer) and one of my numbers in Setup as an integer no signed, as I was told in an e-mail from the manufacturer of the instrument. Should we indicate the call launched by numbers as constants value, or not, since they are not explicitly defined as constants in the code provided? Since they have been specified not as long, I am right to assume signed 16-bit integer for the passage by the digits of the value? Is the Boolean value a 8-bit or 16-bit and signed? If the function has a numeric parameter as a value call, I guess by the wiring in a digital constant, that this value is transferred to the function?

Again, I apoligize if these questions are too simplistic (and many of them), due to my limited experience programming and possibly scarce documentation of the company during the inspection. I look forward comments about the VI as well, if I had nothing at all just illegal/bad practice.

    Thank you for your time!

First of all, I'm really not familiar with C/C++ dll, but I remember something the DLL must contain the standard C functions to properly accessible from LabVIEW. I don't know if this is the case here, but lets see more will enlighten this part.

Second, whenever I have the chance to directly use the simple series commands, I go like this, and I create my own live LabVIEW. As I see in the attached pdf doc, it is possible to order the material through the series without using the DLL (on page 18). If these features meet your needs, I would really screw via VISA program, your life will be much easier...

  • Last update messed up my system.

The latest updates I have downloaded really screw with my system.  Even if I used 'Restore' to go back, the system always displays the problem.  Problem is, the system now has slowed to a few a crawl caused by two seconds the mouse pointer changes, changes to this circle of rotation, indicating that the system is busy doing something, then it closes, then goes back right and still once after a few seconds, that's to the point where everything I load up , like IE, takes a lot of time.  The updates that I downloaded and then returned on the "Restore" function, are "Cujulative update for Media Center for Windows 7 (KB981078)", "update Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for Windows 7 x 86 (KB982526)", "Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile for Windows 7 x 86 (KB982670)", 'Update for Windows (KB980846)', update for Windows 7 (KB982519).

I thought that maybe the update everything evil turned on a single system and decided to try it on another system of mine, and exactly the same thing happens.  My other system got to the point where I just said 'screw it' and I'm going back to the configuration/installation of the plant.  I write this as a warning to all who may want to download the updates, I wouldn't say until they get things worked on "MHO" and hoping that maybe someone could help me with a fix (when it exists) and I hope the attention of MS on the occasion of something going wrong here it updates.

I would be grateful for any feedback.  Man, even in typing this out the pointer is made that and making me take a lot more time to post this topic... sheeesh.

Thanks for the tip.  I just thought that I would come back to update everyone on this issue.  It seems that, after a few days of having to put up with it, it is stopped without any intervention from me.  I don't know what it was, nor at this point I even care, but after a while (on my system, in any case), it just stopped.  I could not even tell if there was something specific he is, who was running in the background, which could have caused it.  As far as I could say nothing other than running usually works (Windows stuff and my stuff installed).  Well, I hope that it happens as well for others as it has for me.  I'm just glad that it's over.

  • ENVY 17 t: last update of HP has hosed my laptop

    Hello

I recently installed several updates from the HP Support Assistant and unfortunately, I can't use some of my applications.  Specifically, I tried to use MODO 902 sp1 (it's the Foundry 3D modeling software) and after double-clicking on the icon my computer freezes and then crashes.  No BSOD, but it just won't load, the interface of Windows becomes useless, except for my mouse I can still move around.  I tried to reinstall the software and even tried a downgrade to an earlier version (MODO 901 sp1) but with the same result.  I tested to see if Pixologic ZBrush 4R7 sp3 works and it loads fine, so I don't know what is happening.  I should note that MODO was working fine before this last update of HP, but I suspect that something got REALLY fubared during installation.

In any case, I can tell you what updates have been installed in the event log:

Updated HP Notebook System BIOS (Intel processors)

Driver and Intel Chipset Installation utility

Intel Extensions (SGX) device driver software keeps

Driver Bluetooth Intel for Microsoft Windows 10

    Driver Audio Realtek High-definition (HD)

Sensor of fingerprint reader fingerprint validity

    Power Media Player

My specific machine is a HP ENVY 17 t-n100, number of product L8X51AV

One last thing, when I try to use the HP Web site to identify my machine, it keeps giving me a message to try again, saying that it is not plugged in (which is absurd because it has just detected what kind of HP product that I use).

Is there a chance that I could somehow push these updates?  The only other possibility I can think of is an update of Windows 10 screwed something since I saw the last time it checked for something again was last night around 11: 30ish or more.

Thank you for your quick response.

PS - It's the second question in less than two months since I got this laptop.  The first had to deal with a faulty motherboard which was replaced.  I never had such problems with HP products before (this is my 3rd laptop from them), that I explain why I am surprised by the amount of problems I'm having now.

Release a little busy last week, but I would like to report this incident as having been resolved.  For some reason, I need to detach my two monitors to my laptop and reset the connection.  I only found it by chance that I had brought my laptop to work to show one of my colleagues the questions I had.  However, everything loaded up and there is no frost.  When I got home, I reconnected my monitors and everything works fine since.  Can't believe, it turns out to be something so trivial, but I guess it was the only way to get the display output working properly again.
