rearrange tiles in the thumbnail view of free-form

Is there a way to rearrange the order of image in mode "free-form Vignette?

It seems that they keep their original order and he must return to a normal view, reorganize and THEN select free form and drag everything up.

What is the only way to reorganize the images for the slideshow?

1st way: just click on the thumbnails and change their stacking order using the "Send backward" / "forward".

2nd way: open the "Layers" Panel, and then drag the images to the desired location.

One of our files is displayed with an image of the hand in the thumbnail view, and in the details, view has a dark area at the bottom of the image in folder of files.  What does that mean?

It seems that if you want something like the "Family Photos" folder in this image: http://www22.verizon.com/NROneRetail/NR/rdonlyres/E54BDDF6-5BB6-4A60-93C7-F2F0785D56BD/0/XPSharePhotoFolder.jpg

This icon indicates that the folder has been shared (for example, it is available on your network).  The "dark area" in the Details view is the same, it is more difficult to see because the icon is so small.

If you do not want to share the file (and thus the files in the folder), right click, select Properties, click the sharing tab and check the box "do not share this folder.

Note: Windows XP has a "Simple file sharing" mode that is enabled by default in XP Pro and is the only mode available in XP Home.  In XP Pro, you can turn off this mode.  The 'Sharing' tab is a little different depending on whether you are in the mode.  For Simple file sharing, clear the checkbox "Share this folder on the network" instead of the above option button.

  • used as triggers of the thumbnails Viewer have white edges

An another weird problem in Muse that I can't figure out how to fix it.  Here is an image that illustrates what I see:

    lightbox-widget-problem-with-thumbnails.jpg

I exported this screenshot of the page in preview mode in real size so that people can take a closer look and see the problem: thumbnails in the top row, to varying degrees, have white edges that shouldn't be there.  Can't seem to get rid of them and they are an artifact of insert in the design of the page using the lightbox widget.  These are thumbnails of trigger.  When you click on it, they open a viewer that contains the Vimeo widget that displays the relevant video.  Thumbnails should have "clean" edges  The black rectangles are part of the background image (PNG file showing a container for thumbnails). they are placeholders and so they can be ignored.  Remove them later by replacing the PNG file do not solve everything.  When I drag and drop the thumbnail in the relaxation area, I let go of the mouse button when I fly over the area of the trigger, then move the mouse to the upper left corner that makes a ghost of the thumbnail image appear, and allows to align the corner of the tile to the upper left of the relaxation area.  Click the mouse and the miniature extends to its full size and throws over the trigger area.  As described in the tutorial of lightbox.  However, I notice that the trigger area will develop to fit the entire thumbnail, but since it covers most of it, I do not see that as a problem until I discovered design in preview mode.  The Triggers service, but I have funky white edges that make the amateur of sloppy, designer look.

To return to design mode, I adjust a trigger to be the same size as the thumbnail.  And the result is the same: white edges or maybe light grey; It is difficult to know.  But antics with the order of the layers image and triggers oversees some results on triggers does not.  I assure you that I chose NO FILLING on relaxation areas, as well as on the frames of images for each of them.  If anyone else has experienced this?  Fine widgets function; the design gives inexplicable defects.

I answered my own question.  In preview mode, I noticed that the edges of the thumbnail image would shrink and expand a little as I said above.  I finally realized that the relaxation area on the top of the image frame had different States already applied by the lightbox widget.  Each State had a fill and a stroke applied color.  Select NO affected FILL only a trigger State (Muse initially defaults to 'active' that I took to mean "it is the element that is now active, because you have selected it.")  Seems counterintuitive automatically add me these colors in a relaxing setting that will contain a thumbnail image.  I removed the color of background and outline of each of the triggers.  Problem solved.  All the thumbnails have clean edges.  The cursor changing to a hand icon and ToolTips are enough prompting the user to achieve what are buttons.

  • How can I configure folder for the thumbnail view display?

I want to choose a photo of some to show in front of a folder.  Without the record showing mode portrait.  I want to see as well as possible image and the display of the ICON is on a slope.

Under XP, I could choose to view thumbnail and select the file that I wanted to represent the file.

    Hi Helpemmy,

You can follow the steps below and check if it helps you to see the pictures in thumbnail stored in the folder.

    a. Click Start.

    b. go to control panel and open Folder Options.

    c. click on the view tab

    d. uncheck the option "always show icons, never thumbnails".

    e. you can also check to see that there is a check mark in the box "Display file on the photos" and then click on apply and then click Ok.

Now you should be able to see the thumbnail images in the folder.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

  • What happened to the thumbnail view in Windows 7?

When you view a folder in Windows Vista, you could see the photos of the contents of the files. in Windows 7, I see only the icons and the preview pane displays no preview available. This is especially noticed on PDFs, but others do the same.

Install appropriate programs or codecs. Some programs do not automatically generate the previews and must be specifically enabled to do so.

Yes, that means that the file has been changed, as in you have edited your NEF image.  Original is still there, though.

  • How can I change the thumbnail size when you view the contents of a folder in Thumbnails view?

    None

    Rustic17,

You can work with the unrolling of view in windows Explorer. However, if you mean specifically change the size ONLY in the thumbnail view, and then I found an article in which people have found a solution.

Change the size of the thumbnail and quality under XP

Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to display the thumbnails in the default view

How to display the thumbnails in the default view. I have just started a test of DC Acrobat and cannot find how to set the thumbnail view as default.

Thanks George. Seems to only work for individual documents. If I do your instructions, close the document and then re - open, then of course the miniature view opens immediately. However, if I open another document the thumbnail view is not here. I need the thumbnail view to be opened by default for all documents as older versions of Adobe and other PDF software. If you can help that would be great.

  • How can I increase the size of the thumbnails when opening files?

This is the view I get when I want to download a file on OS X' browser. I like the thumbnail view, but as you can see, they are too small.

I don't mind showing photos of less - I want just a larger thumbnail view.

    How can I change this?

Right-click in the folder and select "Show View Options."  In the menu box that appears, you can change the size of thumbnails in this folder.

  • Is there a way to disable the thumbnails in all except a few folders cache?

    Hello

I am a certified technician A + and I have a question about the caching of thumbnails.  For reference, I read this thread and others like it.

In order to avoid that the Explorer snaps records I want to change, I need to disable the caching of thumbnails in most of my files.  I already know how to do this.

Question: Can I activate the thumbnail view in some cases? (NOT the folder 'types' such as video.  I mean just one folder.)

This will enable Thumbnail caching throughout the Explorer so that I get a "file in use" errors in non-feuillete folders?

FYI: I also do not put the taskbar thumbnail cache.  If the style of my theme doesn't have to make a difference... I hope.  For my clients who have slow computers, as I am normally to the themes of base anyway.  I also do not allow most programs create thumbnails for the taskbar (like Firefox).  I would like to know if there are other areas, I've not thought.

    Thanks for your help.

Caching of thumbnails taskbar is a cache of the video card Aero (desktop window manager) and unrelated to the thumbnail of the file in terms of production and storage.

But no, you can't activate the cache of thumbnails only in a specific folder, only in the ranges you already mentioned.  There is no just the feature to follow him on this level.

Even with all the complete default values, you should not get a lock.  No matter how well-written program should quit the amendment is requested by using opportunistic to get out of the way locks when an application you use to do something with a file or a folder. But not all programs are also well written we would like.  Again I'd be curious to know what program you are using getting locked.  Thumbnails should not be able to cause this in Windows 7 and later versions.
