Rebuild oracle WinXP services?

Hi all

10.2.0.3

We have installed a small app on winXP desktop with 10.2.0.3 prod database.

For some reason any after a hardware maintenance... the oracle database would not start upward

And I discovered that all the oracle services disappeared? How this can happen?

But the oracle_home and oradata are intact. How can I rebuild the services?

Thank you very much

Hello

Q1. "Of SERVICE" above means it's Service Oracle aka Oracle database Service, which has been registered by the listening port?

Yes these are the DRH regestered a database services or services defined statically in listener.ora

Q2. Can a Service cause more 1 Instance and under what circumstances?

Yes, generally in the CARS (several instances of all access to the same database). You may have also several databases offering the same service (with replication, for example)

Q3. What exactly is the Service for the instance manager and how is it related to the Oracle function?

Service managers are the way to connect to the database. The listener redirects the client to it. It can be a dedicated process, or a dispatcher.

Q4. Can an Instance cause more than 1 Manager of Service and under what circumstances?

Yes. For example you can have one dedicated and shared before. You see them with lsnrctl services

• Batch script (stopping oracle bi services using executable files)

Hello experts! :)

I do a script of DOS commands to automate the migration of files Oracle BI from one environment to another. I am just a beginner with the creation of batch files so far as I know are the basic commands. So far, I am able to create a backup of the files to be transferred to a new directory. I reached the part of the script in which I connect to another environment and perform all the tasks (i.e. to stop services, create a backup, copy files, etc.)...

If someone knows all of the executable files associated with starting and stopping of oracle bi services? I've identified those that start services, I do not know which files I have to run to stop the services.

And if you also have any advice for me while I'm working on the batch file, please share your thoughts.

Thank you very much! : D

Kind regards

You can use Microsoft net start / stop control for the services. See below for example. You can add other services also.

echo% Date % % time Restarting Oracle BI Scheduler
echo =====================================================
net stop 'Oracle BI' Planner
net start 'Oracle BI Planner'
echo ======================================================
echo% Date %% time % Oracle BI Scheduler started

• Oracle Cloud Service database schema... Apex Cloud_Scheduler & E-mail procedure

Professional Hello, etc. of users experienced Apex.

I am currently using the oracle database schema cloud service, which is related to my extension service java saas.

I have a requirement to send reports to certain accounts of e-mail per day. Hence the need to use the CLOUD_SCHEDULER API, APEX_EMAIL API and a custom "Get_REPORT"... return blob function to convert the sql result set to CSV file to be attached to e-mails.

1 function GET_REPORT returns the BLOB as the query results set CSV file. Autonomous œuvres

2. I created the 'SENDEMAIL' procedure that accepts the responsibility of the sender and receivers email address, subject and a BLOB (GET_REPORT) to be attached to the email. And sends APEX_MAIL. PUSH_QUEUE. : This method works stand-alone.

3. I created the "ScheduleCSVToEMAIL" procedure that accepts the e-mail to, from, cc, tablefiltertext, tablename: this procedure combines 1 and 2 as below...

SQL_TEXT := 'SELECT * FROM '||TABLE_NAME||' WHERE ' || SQL_FILTER ||'';
REPORT := GET_REPORT(SQL_TEXT);
SENDENDVI_MAIL2(TO_ADDR,COMMA_CC, FROM_ADDR, EM_TITLE,EM_TITLE,null,null,REPORT,null);

above works fine when run standalone.

4. I created CLOUD_SCHEDULER PROGRAMS as below

BEGIN
CLOUD_SCHEDULER.CREATE_PROGRAM(
program_name => 'emailtest1',
program_action => 'SENDENDVI_MAIL3',
program_type => 'STORED_PROCEDURE',

BEGIN

job_type        => 'PLSQL_BLOCK',

value     => 20);
CLOUD_SCHEDULER.enable(name => 'ENDVI_AUT_EM_VH_INSURANCE');

Right answer

Hi oladslw,

You must perform an additional step before calling the API APEX_MAIL outside an Application Express application. Two ways to achieve this are described in the APEX_MAIL documentation (see first Note) and in the APEX_UTIL documentation. Another way is:

for c1 in ( select workspace_id
from apex_workspace_schemas
where workspace_name = sys_context( 'userenv', 'current_schema' )
and rownum = 1 ) loop
apex_util.set_security_group_id( p_security_group_id => c1.workspace_id );
end loop;

The code above retrieves your workspace_id of the dictionary of the current schema-based APEX of (your), then sets the security context of APEX. After that, you will be able to call APEX_MAIL in a same database session.

Thank you

• How to post JSON using the Oracle Data Service remains

I use the regular (not NoSQL or something) oracle database with oracle rest data service. Now I need to post data / put wrote in the body of the request using some json/xml format, how to consume them using the rest data service, searching inside the express application? important: using pl/sql block

Also, I am on,

Data service Oracle rest 3.0

Oracle Application Express 4.2

Post edited by: Jacynthe

OK, I got the answer. At the express request, there is a link called body variable (: body in BLOB). but the BLOB data type. So, we have to convert that in other data, type what we in pl/sql. I've converted data type witch CLOB supports json.

• JAXWS call with the oracle bpel service issue

I have a bpel service running in oracle 11g soa.

He expects an input message something like this:

< input >

given < element1 > < / item1 >

support useful < of test > <>it comes to load xml < / test > < / payload >

< / Entry >

This service is called by customer jaxws after setting the required input message.

The problem is during the consumption of the xml message in the tag of the payload.

I use something like this in my bpel assign:

< expression = "ora:getContentAsString (bpws:getVariableData('inputVariable','payload','/input/payload/*'))" / >

< variable = "inputMsg" / >

But instead of the xml support, I see a nodelist like this: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLNodeList@3440cbfe

Pointers are appreciated.

Hi Ganesh,

the problem lies in this line:

payload.setPayload (xmlString);

The payload is an object but JAXB is it collocation not properly. I found a way that can help you:

ObjectFactory factory = new ObjectFactory();

PublishMessage message = factory.createPublishMessage ();

message.setBussinessObject("1");

message.setId("34");

JAXBContext ctx = JAXBContext.newInstance (PublishMessage.class);

Marshaller marshaller = ctx.createMarshaller ();

DocumentBuilder docBuilder is DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance () .newDocumentBuilder ();.

Document document = docBuilder.newDocument ();

marshalling. Marshal (message, document);

Element ele = document.createElementNS ("http://www.example.org", "test");

ele.setTextContent ("123");

message.setPayload (ele);

It is not very clean, and I suggest you look at JAXB in order to find a solution for this scenario of type anyType. I couldn't find a better sample but other people suggest using "xs: all" instead Java / Oracle SOA blog: JAXB in JDeveloper 10 g and 11 g 2.0. Perhaps you could look into it

• Question - Oracle database service

All,

I have a service I build made of 40 or hosts and an oracle backend that supports. Done enough is consolidate all alarms model host etc. but it is not put in oracle service alarms? Although it brings the underlying operating system (solaris) int alarms. But I do not receive stuff oracle 10g.

Any idea where I could have gone wrong?

I have added the database by adding a component as a general rule, selected database > oracle > reports > instances and typed in a search for the name of the database. Hit test and see. Tap Finish.

Hi try oracle_clusters_data and oracle_agent_model (for ease of use), you can find it under managementserver. database-oracle-> reports >->... is not the correct link.

DBCA automatically saves the database as an Oracle Restart resource. Restart Oracle should start automatically if it is not disabled.

The report above take info if a service is down at some point in time.
Do you think it is useful to you? or the customer?

Moreover, 05:00 - 07:00 services apps/db are stop to give way to a "cold" backup. You have noticed that
most of the services during this period have exit status '1 '. With the exception of addisctl and adcmctl, they are always '0 '. Can you tell me why
even if the application is stopped, the two services in a test of their status... He is always '0 '?
