What is an FBI error! __

I tried to install / restore windows 7 Professional on my hp computer that came with win xp pro and win 7 pro. But I get this error message after windows copies the files and start the installation.

The FBI mistake!
Summary: Spawn program () fatal timeaction
Info of the UIA. 945, FBI preos processing error.
You must shut down the system and return to the command.

with red screen...
I tried 4 or 5 times without success... ill be and tired of this _ microsoft, time to switch to mac...

Any help is appreciated.

I solved the problem!

I think that the provided HP recovery partition is small to restore windows 7 and office 2007 (as it is predicted for xp)

When installing with the restore cd, she lays on the partition that you want to, you can select 1 partition, or score 2 or 3 etc... selected .i 2 partition with 50% of space in each partition and continues the restoration, which has solved the error of the fbi. I installed since January 2010 as it much win 7 hp pcs downgraded win xp (preinstalled). HP have not corrected the problem and yet!

  • I keep on getting error 0x6D9 and 0 x 80070424 code when you try to activate my windows firewall, also my mcafee firewall does not work.

I keep on getting error 0x6D9 and 0 x 80070424 code when you try to activate my windows firewall, also my mcafee firewall does not work. I have Windows 7 and it started only caused since last week. Can someone give me an idea on how to solve this problem?

When you have McAfee running, he provided the Firewall & automatically deleted the Windows Firewall.   Panel\Windows Firewall control page should have shown a message say.  If you managed to change the settings for the Windows Firewall then you might have corrupted both the McAfee & Windows Firewall.

I really think you should try a restore for some time point before you tried modifications, if that is even possible.

If you have uninstalled McAfee Control Panel, programs, then you must also run the Tool McAfee Consumer Product Removal or you will get several unpredictable problems.

If you still have problems after running the McAfee tool then it could be the result of the previous Windows Firewall changes & the corruption of the system resulting.  Your system is in an unknown state as a result of these changes.

You can try running SFC/scannow in an admin command prompt, but it wouldn't do any good.

You may need to use the installation DVD to do a repair installation.  I hope get you lucky, but you may need to do a complete reinstall of Windows.

  • 1012 error when you try to restore

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion Media Center m8530f. The hard drive recently "crushed" (in fact, it was the BSY error plaguing the Barracuda 7200.11 drives, but there was no way I was getting off the phone with customer service HP without them send me a new drive and I have to send them back my old one... with all my stuff on it), so now I have a new, replacement HD with nothing on it. I tried to use my recovery disks, but I received an error code 1012 when you try to install Windows Vista (Home Premium 64-bit) and was told to contact HP. Technicians at the time on the phone and through the chat system, I spoke were unable to guide me in the right direction.

Only two responses I've seen to this problem are the following:

    1. update your firmware of the CD/DVD drive

    and

    2. use recovery on startup option

This is the problem with option number one:

First, the supplied with my system drive is a TSST TS-H653Q.  Even on the product page here on the site of HP for my PC, there is no download link for the specific firmware. As a matter of fact, doing a search for TS-H653Q or H653Q will not even net that you have all the results. It seems that HP recognizes any existence of this road more.

Second of all, how HP packages their firmware updates requires that you already have a job of installing Vista on the computer. If Vista was installed, I wouldn't need to update the firmware to install Vista, now, I would like to?

    And now number two:

As I said, the hard drive is completely empty. There is no recovery of data on it because it is a blank hard drive.

Right now, I use Ubuntu boot to a CD - RW on the machine. I'm not a fan of Linux, that's why I have not installed permanently, but currently, it is the only alternative that works. I can't install the HP updates for the firmware by the WINE, and I am literally ready to tear my hair out. I have 'official' recovery discs on the way of HP, but I have a feeling that I will get the same error.

Now, I have a copy of Windows XP Professional that I plan on execution of this system with a dual-boot. I even tried to install THAT, but when I try it, I get the dreaded error "a required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing." I'm at my wit's end.

I want to just install Windows Vista on this 'thing'. Can someone help me please?

Ok. Do not do the update firmware to the disk drive. Not necessary. Disk drive does not need or require updates to read recovery disks. Also, you can leave your equipment improved in such as ram and other devices.

Also from another pc recovery discs do not work because it has different drivers and it will say ' he has not served or made for this machine.

So we need original recovery for this computer disks.

So try to implement recovery disc 1 and restart the pc and press ESC and select the CD/DVD drive to boot from and now it should load the restore disc 1. Except if there are problems with the disk or something HP can provide a set again if they still for about 15 to 25 euros with shipping.

Since it is a new hard drive (same size or larger than the previous original drive I guess) it must be formatted and need Windows installed on it, so this is where the need to work recovery disks.

You can also try pressing COMMAND + backspace when starting of Recovery Disc 1 for an advanced menu where you can wipe the hard drive, or build hd info., etc.. May be useful before recovery.
