  With OE closed, find the box of Inbox.dbx and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

  General precautions for Outlook Express:

  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes.   I am trying to remove the my BB8900 yahoo Messenger but I still get emails.

  What I've done so far, it was go in the list of applications and check if there is a line mensioning Yahoo. It wasn't, so I was already wondering how to remove it. On the internet, I found that I have to remove the service I did! (Do not remember well, but I think that there are two lines to remove.)

  Problem is that I have always received emails, send to my yahoo on my blackberry account.

  This morning entered the list of the modules and deleted the YHO BBS2 (or something like that)

  At out the battery and restarted 1 minute later... guess what still emails on my blackberry?

  This is getting crazy!

  It is recognized that the Yahoo service is laminated with odd errors, timeouts. Weird messages, re-indexing, who sees the mailboxes all re-uploaded.

  Basically Yahoo don't care of email clients. There is no pub for sale using a. They make changes to standards RFC random undocumented and not to their service and allow users to work on its functioning.

  I suggest that you produce support ticked with Yahoo. But I never received a response on their part ever. Not even when their spam filter makes all of the mail a spam of email clients.   Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your user name and password are there.

  Sounds to me like the malicious software that you have installed ruined some files of Windows and even if you think you've fixed the infection, the files are always broken.  If this happened to me, I back up all my data, collect all my kits installation of software and product keys, then wipe the disk and reinstall everything, restore my backups of data later.
