Recent bizarre behavior of Firefox, safe mode doesn't help not, any help is welcome

I have used Firefox for a while now, since Firefox 3, but my browser has recently ben having a very odd behavior. While browsing, Firefox suddenly crashes (work in the background or cursor busy", then"continuous normal navigation". It also has problems with playing youtube video. Video load properly, start playing, but suddenly the spirits of reading 'on the fly' and fills the bar of progress at a glance, returning the message "an error has occurred" or behaves like the video had finished playing (although she never finished reading).
Tried to uninstall flas player, cleaning the registry errors and errors in program after uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling the adobe Web site. It did not work. I tried Safe Mode (without pluginns) doesn't work anymore. same weird behavior.
It's a brand new installation of Firefox (I had problems with the other 4 months ago).
I'm naïve at the moment on which resides the problem causing this strangeness.
I ask for your knowledgeable help.
Thanks, if more details are required, I will be happy to write them.

  • I've updated to Firefox 36 automatically, however, it does not start. I tried firefox safe mode, reinstall, uninstall avg antivirus, eks.

    The computer restarts during the night to install updates. Everything was fine, but now Firefox, which has been updated to version 36, will not launch. Basically, I double click on it, I get a little access to the disk and nothing. I tried to start firefox safe mode. Same thing is happening. I uninstalled by deleting any Mozilla Firefox files, programs and relocation. Still will not start. I uninstalled the old version of AVG. Still will not start. I have Microsoft Security Essentials running and have updated. Still will not start. I need new ideas.

    I just want to confirm a step that you took. When you say you deleted the program files Firefox content, this may have taken all the Firefox of the components off of your computer.

    The steps that you must follow to remove a potentially corrupted installation of firefox are:

    Open your Start menu, select "program files." In program files, select "Programs and features", this should open your window "uninstall or change a program". In this window, locate your program "Mozilla Firefox". Select the program with a left click then "Uninstall", which will appear once the program is highlighted.

    This process will remove the registry changes that can ask questions. After you completely uninstall firefox from your programs, perform a new installation of the latest version of the browser.

    If you have already completed this process without success, so there may be other problems with your windows updates, it's not uncommon. If you have problems after a new installation of Firefox, after following the instructions above, please check if your browser "Internet Explorer" is to have the same questions, if yes, then you may have problems more serious that will require new measures.

  • How do you get sound on safe mode if it has not told!

    Frankly I doubt that you ever had its Mode without failure.  Safe mode is a specially designed Windows state that charge only a very minimal set of very generic for devices drivers, so that you can resolve problems or solve problems that cannot be solved with the full software and driver responsible.  Sound is one of the first things that gets tossed by the window, as improved video drivers, network drivers and so on.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    This has happened also in Windows XP I used until recently.
    Yahoo email menu is there but the Firefox menu is above it. I tried Firefox in all off safe mode and the problem happened again. I tried Yahoo mail in IE 9, and the right button of the mouse works correctly.
    Options > content-> click Advanced for the right to activate JavaScript
    Make sure that disable or replace context menus is selected.
  • Police is blurred, works if I'm in firefox 'Safe Mode '.
    It is not the police on the text I type with, but the address bar, bookmarks (include images), so all located above the tabs (include the text/images tab), and the right click menu. If I'm in the mode without failure of Firefox everything works very well, I tried to disable all the addons, but the problem is still there.
    Edit:
    Tried to reset firefox by default, did not work. Uninstalled firefox and removed everything, did not work. Downloaded firefox portable to portable applications, works, but I don't want it to be portable.
    Hello Frejoh466, try turning off hardware acceleration and check again (in safe mode hardware, acceleration is disable).
    The main concern right now for me is to get my personal data and files on the computer.  I still have another computer to use, so I'm not so worried about starting the computer.  I want to find a way to the first backup of my personal data and files from the computer to external devices, then try to repair the computer.
    Hi DreamMeng,
    You can try to use third party software to back up data and check.
    You can use your favorite search engine to navigate on the third-party data backup software and that the software allows to save data.
    Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
He started with the screen changing colours as: green and blue then places pinky/red then yesterday it would not turn on just and there was a loud hum from the tower. screen not turn on so I had to get it looked at, the guy in the store said it was my video/graphics card that was the problem and he said he had 2 graphics cards in the computer, one of the map was built and the other, he said the problem was, so he went out. in any case now that I have the back of the computer and I turned on. how it works perfect except for a problem.     Hi Eric and Caz,
    You are welcome.
    HP for your PC specifications indicate that he left the factory with Win Vista, 32-bit, SP1, Media Center.
    Software download site and the driver of HP lists no (original or updated) driver for the GeForce 6150se graphics.
    NVIDIA has a 32-bit or a 64-bit driver update are released in 2010.
    the 32-bit version is available here.
    64-bit version is available here.
    You could try a recovery of the plant. You have recovery discs? Unfortunately the recovery disc for your PC not available suppliers of disk recovery HP or third party such as Best2Serve or surgeons of the computer.
    The last option would be to buy a low-profile, low-power graphics card compatible with your Slimline and install the new card and the drivers provided by the manufacturer of the card.
