Recently reinstalled Firefox on my PC, no longer can "bookmarks" click and see all listed. It forces me to mouse hover on 'unsorted bookmarks' now

Before recently reinstalled Firefox on my PC, I could click bookmarks and all my favorites belong immediately. Now instead I receive a menu drop-down and have to move my mouse over "unsorted bookmarks", then select the one I want access, not more than before. How can I set up so I just click the icon and the list of bookmarks without additional steps? Thank you, Jim S.
