  Some routers will define a limited number of simultaneous connections. Domestic routers rarely do because the assumption is that the environment will not include such a high number.

  Ideally in a commercial environment you would separate on the hardware connection since the hardware firewall. It depends on the type of connection (ADSL?).

  I'm sorry I have not answered your question 403, but I thought it should be a primary target in order to get your APEX installation up and running first.
  As you have moved this issue, it is logical to continue on other issues in your deployment.
  You say that you are trying to connect to listenerStatus as "adminlistener" with the group "Admin". You must use a user with the 'Manager' of the page group.
  However, if you have "Admin", you can access the 'status' tab in 'listenerAdmin' that contains exactly the information you see in 'listenerStatus '.

  Also, when I run the URL Listner Administrator page loads properly, but all fields are disabled. So I can only see the page, but not to make changes to the fields on tab 'connection '.

  Yes. What is this "Apply" button to reset the connection pool to use the current JDBC settings, which you should be able to edit as shown above. Therefore, when you apply the changed settings, the listenerAdmin will take you to the start APEX page to check that everything works (always) and continue to use APEX.

• Windows Fax and Scan - what the appropriate use for the concurrent users to save to the network program?

  I'll try to keep this simple - as I already asked this on other forums without the answer. My environment - Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 32-bit client machines. A computer needs to scan patient documents to a network shared by a group of users folder. There will be many people who use this computer even through all day (several shifts - environment 24 hours/7 days).  This is why I need multiple profiles from windows to all save the scan to the SAME network location.

  Currently I am trying to achieve with Windows Fax and Scan and using the ' Scan 'option under 'tools' routing. "  There is a check box (once in this option) for "network location".  I am using this option, but its does not work and that's the whole problem. Its supposed to AUTOMATICALLY record each scan to the specified network location, but it does no such thing. The scan is not registered at all in fact it is just in the interface user of Windows Fax and Scan... double you click it, and then it shows you the image.

  Some information note for helping people answer this question (and any help is appreciated):

  (1) * YES * the network folder, I am trying to record is a valid network folder and * IS * accessible via my network of different devices

  (2) * YES * the user of this journal on the computer with the scanner * ALL * read/write to have rights to this location of the network folder

  (3) * file YES and printing sharing is already active on clients

  If you please if someone either knows how to solve this problem, or at this stage if you can even suggest a different (cheaper the better) application that will scan to a network location please let me know.

  One might think to a disabled feature labeled as "scan routing" and then a field for "network location", it would be simple as plugging in the network folder and checking a box - apparently it isn't.

  Don't know on what basis 'someone' advised to do (migration of ADR to OHS)?

  As the Oracle Documentation says otherwise in their comparison of the options of the web listener.

  I tried to get the apex running on glassfish, I tried deployment ORDS3 to market. The deployment of ords3 gave no problem, it is successfully connected to the database and configured the users affected, but whenever I try to access apex, I get an error 404-not found .

  Research on the Glassfish server log file gives this error whenever I refresh the page

  The pool named: apex_pu is not properly configured, error: not a valid Cache active DataSource or connection caching disabled

  And gives the same errorfor the named apex_al and apex pools

  I checked the file defaults.xml and the content seems OK, host, port, and sid are all correctly defined. The face that I could set up ords3 correctly (must connect to the database with SYS) shows the connection to the database. The passwords for the users of four (APEX_PUBLIC_USER, APEX_LISTENER, APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER and ORDS_PUBLIC_USER) are all set correctly, none of these users is locked or expired password.

  I'm under glassfish on Linux on a database of 12 c (on a separate Linux, Apex 4.2)

  I use the oracle instant client to connect.

  The pool of the apex in ADR corresponds to the APEX_PUBLIC_USER database, and it is not properly configured.

  Log on to sqlplus with the SYS user prompt and SYSDBA privileges and run the following query:

  I think that each error (Code 4xx for customer errors and Code 5xx server errors) would be eligible for your condition, because whenever one of them takes place, the user would see the information you don't want to give. A complete list with a specification of error codes is part of the [url http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html#sec10.4] RFC 2616 - HTTP/1.1. [url http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_status_codes] Wikipedia lists some additional status codes that are not part of the HTTP specification. Of course, not all specified errors are very likely to happen, but I guess it does not hurt to take five minutes, it cost you to take those as well. Despite authentication none of them affect other features of the earpiece of the APEX, so that they could be caught in the world.
  If you want to keep it short, I would certainly recommend to apply a capture for 500 (Internal Server Error) in addition to those you named, because it usually includes a Stack Trace and you do not want end users to see that.
  Regarding all other errors: to hide the details of the server is not done with just using a custom error page. GlassFish will send also the response as Server and X-Powered-Byheaders. See the following example pulled a 3.1.2 running on my laptop:

  I think that your web.xml file or the URL you are using is not correct.

  You must ensure that your page is processed by the engine JSF/Facelets.

  Your URL is not the ordinary prefix for this (something like "/ faces")

The weblogic server is running and the console shows weblogic that apex is running, but when I go to the URL I get "http://haora01:7001/apex/apex_admin requested url is currently unavailable". Same URL worked well before the reboot. I was using the gateway of the EPG and wanted to try the apex listener instead. I can't find all the logs that help. Anyone have any suggestions?

  The "config" file could have disappeared - the process of installation/configuration (for Tomcat, at least) is used to store the configuration xml file in 'tmp'... which will then once you restart! There are a few posts on how to change the directory in which the configuration file is stored.
