  This problem occurs because there is incorrect entries in the Shell folder of the user who is logged on to Microsoft Windows. When Windows Installer goes to the sale of Shell folder of the user who is logged on to the computer, Windows Installer cannot locate the correct entry. The solution is in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/886549.

  The steps to correct this problem involve editing the Windows registry.  Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved.   Here are the steps to fix it.

  3 remove the entries that show the path that is listed in the error message.

  886549 KB http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/886549: Regedit open again. In the left pane, click User Shell Folders, point to new, click expandable string value, type the value name that you want to restore (AppData) and then press ENTER. Right click on this value, click change, type the value in the value data for the value name box, and then click OK. The value data must be: % USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming. Change it if necessary.

  Step 8 KB 886549 suggests that you also check the values in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. However, by fixing my problem, I had not to change values in the registry key.  If this does not work without the full procedure, follow ALL the steps in the referenced article.

  There may be several reasons why a discoverer report returns no data, but I don't think it will be because the session is not initialized apps. Check that the language has been correctly set, using the calculation userenv('lang').

  As I don't know anything about your environment, it is a little hard to guess what else could cause this problem. Is there something different about this report? What is the custom query that you use?

  Just assign the selection to a var.

  you have it in:

  var salt = app.selection [0];

  var myOriginalContents = sel.contents

  so unless you change the content of these vars (by removing items) you can still get it using myOriginalContent, no need to select it again.

  Recently, under Startup, I get a pop up 'there was a problem c:users\blaine\appdata\local\car virtual\bin\carvirtural.dll that the specified module could not be found.

  Looked in the start menu and do not see it as an auto start to uncheck, also when you try to uninstall / change program 'virtual car' the same message appears, so I can not remove the program.

  1: download Auto works.

  2nd: find the yellow highlighted the paths of Image that ends with sysmenu.dll. Usually, you can locate these paths of the image of the scheduled task.

  3rd: right click then delete.

  4th: try to find all the yellow pointed out paths to Image that ends with sysmenu.dll of "all tabs, delete them.

  NOTE: Carefully choose paths image that ends at sysmenu.dll only if you removed access paths that are not high light could cause your PC startup problems.

  5th: restart the computer

  6th: wait at least 5 minutes to confirm that the problem has been resolved. (sysmenu.dll is usually less than a minute to restart the computer.)

• Limitations of data Dashboard App

  I have an application that requires a central logging Windows PC/Labview make data available for viewing on the screens of multiple users.

  Screen touchscreen devices offer the best solution for the environment and I assess tablets under the dashboard of data app vs Windows touchscreen tablet PC running labview code.

  The requirement is very flexible because users must each be able to see a selection of a large number of variables against each other or time and also to choose the period of time for display.

  I can see the application of the dashboard of data is in constant development and I tested it with data from the trial, including several line plots and be able to zoom and scroll the screens as well as control static variable to select the data to be represented graphically.

  However I come to the conclusion that I need to go the Tablet full PC channel to use the full power of Labview to make a user interface appropriate.

  I would like to just following current limitations of the dashboard data confirmation:

  (i) I can only have one axis Y multiplot graphs/Charts. (and cannot specify the different colors of the locations)

  (II) it is not possible to simply provide a timestamp on the X axis.

  (III) such things as 3D curves are currently impossible!

  (IV) I get about 20000 points for each of the variables at least 10 and this seems to slow down the 1.5 GHz/1 GB of RAM Dual Core tablet that I currently use. Power/memory of treatment more that would help?

  Just downloaded the new ios and found that the Notification Center page appears first when you use the new bar drop down. I have to keep pulling down then drag to the right to display date apps, weather, news, etc.
