• MXF (C300) clips a mess after the recent updates

  Today, I opened a first Pro CC project, on which I worked about a month ago: most clips MXF (C300) are out of sync now (beginning of clips on the beginning of the original files instead of the cut / memorized previously in points) and the correlation of the clips and the original MFX files is also bad (clips, which should refer to different original files show the same content).

  The project has been very well with 7.1, now, after the installation of 7.2 and 7.2.1 project is a mess. I guess that the problem is caused by the latest updates of first Pro CC, for:

  (1) 7.2.1 the problem is the same in every previous version (numbered) and save the project.

  (2) when I opened a MXF file containing ten original files, the first Pro Media Browser displays the same content preview for each of these files. When I open the same file in a utility like Miro Video Converter, each of the ten files shows a unique insight into content.

  I disabled the media Pro first Cache, but that did not help. Everyone has experienced problems of this kind? How can I return to 7.1? (I'm working on a Mac Pro mid 2010, OS X 10.8.5).)

• No record in my Zip Clip

  With Windows Explorer, the only file shown on my Zip Clip is "Devicon.fil". What happened to the records to which I can add music? Is it possible to reformat the Zip Clip so I have the necessary files?

  When I turn on the Clip Zip I can switch between the different choices (Radio, Sport, music, etc.), but I can't add any tunes via drag and drop.

  What is the USB setting under settings of the player, the value options? You could try it MSC mode if set to Auto or MTP mode right now, or if set MTP mode in MSC mode. The trick with the USB mode is, your computer sees only the files that have been moved to the drive under USB mode that the player is then connected to the computer under. The reason why it may be better to leave the value MSC or MTP USB mode all the time and always (and to avoid the USB Auto setting, which tries to connect in MTP mode but then by default in MSC mode, if necessary).

• cannot record copy that contains "#" using branching

  Hello everyone - I use APEX 4.1 and have implemented a "Record copy" button that copies the selected fields from the folder to the same page to create a new record. This is done by using branching (had the idea of this forum!) and in defining the elements (for example, P2_NAME, P2_ADDRESS1, P2_ADDRESS2, etc.) with these values (by example, & P2_NAME, & P2_ADDRESS1., & P2_ADDRESS2, etc...)
  
  It has worked perfectly in other APEX applications - up to present. The problem is that the new database contains several fields that contain the character ' # '. When the character ' # ' is detected during the copy process, all data after the # is not copied (but all the data before the # are copied OK).
  
  Is there a way to get around this? Remove the characters ' # ' is not an option, because it is part of many manufacturer part numbers that follow us.

  Hi Gail, so if they are database columns, I think you must have a DML search process in there to fill in as in page 30 you have to edit the line.
  Fix?

  If this is the case, then I think loaded the items in the collection, then your DML process happens and as 'THIS' line does not exist, the page elements get eliminated from the DML extraction.

  Change to the Source used to load items ONLY when NULL would correct that. You can, of course, that the link from Page 30 to 31 to change also clears the cache on page 31.

  So to change it:
  -Link to page 31 of 30 and clear the cache on page 31.
  -Pass the ID of your line on page 30 to P31_ID?
  -the collection does not exist so nothing happens in the header after process
  -the DML process runs and support items because they are null, and row data exist.
  -make changes, the changes apply
  OR use the copy button, that:
  -Submit page
  -Process captures the fields necessary for collection
  -Creates a branch to 31, clear the page cache
  -Runs in Process, research collection, load the page elements.
  -DML process works but does not affect the page elements because the Source is used only when the page element is null
  -Form appear with elements of pages loaded.

  FWIW, assuming that when you check in a copy and the elements of the page is deleted, your key (P31_ID?) column is also set to NULL, you could put a condition on the process DML to run only if the element of the page P31_ID is NOT NULL, which would cause the LMD to be ignored process and elements of the page to keep their value from the loading of the collection.

• Sync will not work with .mov + .mxf?

  I regularly blocking shoots where I use a Canon XF305 which records .mxf files and a Panasonic HPX - 250 that records .mov files. For some reason, I am unable to sync the two. They have very clear signal, and I tried this about 20 times with twenty different pairs of clips. Synchronize tracks and then said: "cannot find the audio sync point." I can clearly see a lot of very obvious sync on the waveform points, so I know this isn't really the issue. Part of the reason why I upgraded to PP - CC was for this feature, it would be a huge timesaver for me.

  Any ideas?

• No opening of the hearing of the MXF audio

  I am trying to edit the audio of my Sony PXW-Z150.  It is 1080 video with 4 audio channels in a file, .mxf.  It opens fine in the first, but when I try to open the file in Audition, I get an error that an "unknown exception has been captured (Code 00000000)."  I hit OK and an audio file window opens (with four channels), but it is empty.  In the files Panel, the name of the file appears with (cancelled) appended to the name.  If I close the file, I get a different dialog box in the Editor window that says "the file 'Clip0002.MXF' contains the video only and cannot be changed. To view the video, insert the file into a multitrack session. »

  It gives me just the video track - no sound.

  Any ideas?

  Thanks for the test file, Ola.  I downloaded office and confirmed that I could reproduce the problem in the current version of the hearing and I am pleased to announce that its opening without problem in the next version, time very, very soon.  If you want to confirm, I just sent two invitations for the preliminary program private Audition.  There, you will be able to download a preview of the next version and check that you no longer see the code error or problems to import the MXF format.

  I have reopened my project today and a lot of my clips say offline media. When I tried to link media, search for, and click ok, another message appears saying this:

  " The selected file contains no audio recording media used by clip references in one or more sequences. The reference of the audio clip will be deleted and cannot Ωtre annulΘe. Do you want to continue? »

  I also tried to clean my cache files of media and also handed over my computer laptop, reopened of PP, and I still have the same problem. Any help with this would be much appreciated and I thank you in advance!

  Claire on the media cache, rename topfolder in that the images is and recreate a link, see how it goes.

• After the plan upgrade to full creative cloud, many clips went offline

  I have not changed a codec hardware or drivers. I just changed my Premiere Pro in full CC rental lease plan.

  And when I run a project that worked perfectly yesterday it suddenly now reports dozens of missing links. If I try to recreate a link to mp4 files, it reports that "the selected file contains no audio recording media used by clip references in one or more sequences. And what is worse - MTS files do not import more - he says it's unknown format. Yesterday, they worked very well.

  Well, I managed to make it work. Both with mp4 and MTS.

  Just rename the folders containing your video files (TE) ADIDAS in ADIDAS__

  When the first request for the missing file, point to the modified folder.

No problem.  We have refuted media disconnect from way more than I like.  Except that this time when connecting the clip to its original file (which btw has not moved since the inception of this project) a messaged error pops up saying... The selected file does not recording media used by clip contain references in one or more sequences. These references to audio clip will be deleted and cannot Ωtre annulΘe.  Do you want to continue?... and like a fool, thinking I would be able to handle the situation, and clicked OK.  Now I have relinked my video my clips but all the audio is missing.  And when I mean all the sound elements... There is not in the source, audio monitor and no references when the clamps are used in my calendar.  Also, I ave tried to reimport the original clip in the editor but still nothing.

  Sorry for the length of this post. I just try to be as descriptive as possible.

  This isn't normal behavior.

  Something has changed, or you have a configuration problem.

  It is never a good idea to click 'OK' on a message like this

  unless you know exactly what you are doing.

  I suggest trying to get an Auto-Save draft.

  If your auto-enregistre does not work, you can check in the following text

  folder for the old files (pc) project:

  C:\Users\< username="">\AppData\Local\Temp

  When you queue of sequences of the project to Media Encoder,

  Media Encoder will leave a copy of the project in this folder.

• How can I display the first image of a built-in clip?

  I prepare a presentation for my 10.11.16 retina, with Keynote 6.6.1 MacPro OSX. I want that it contains clips integrated to my films. I chose the simplest theme - plain black.  I drag and drop these Quicktime movies or .mov of iTunes to a new black slide in Keynnote.

  When I'm in mode Navigator or Light Table etc, what I see is a series of black images - although if I click with the mouse the video will play. How can I see the first frame of the movie, and don't forget that it will start when I move to the slide, so that I can see the order of presentation, or know what's coming?

  You see black because it is what is contained in the poster frame, which is the first frame of the video by default.

  To change the original image: click the video on the slide to select it, then go to: Inspector > Format > film

  either drag the corrector, or enter a number in the box, here I'v entered 4 seconds for the poster so frame the frame of departure:

  

• All clips in the timeline are now displayed as a long clip

  It's weird. I opened a project I was working on today, and the timeline was empty. I then added the clip "synchronized" one in order to recreate it. Instead of the clip new gross being added to the now empty timeline, the entire project has reappeared. But all change them points, transitions, etc. disappeared. It renders correctly but, for example, when I got the text at the end in, there is no text, or fade out. Basically nothing. There as if final cut imported the finished exported file, I did yesterday. When I click on the large file in the timeline panel and go to the video properties section it says: location-(several files). But there is nothing to reveal in finder. I also tried to load a backup yesterday with exactly the same result. In the clip basically there is no way to go back and turn effects or change anything as it is rendered completely. Also, I made, and it has not been turned in a compound clip.

  IT seems that you used the opening according to the timeline and under the direction of your whole movie in the container clip of sync.

• Problems to Import Clips in FCPX

  I plug in my cards containing clips of Sony PX_XW70 AVCHD player but they are not in the import of FCPX window. I have formate ProVideo and Sony PDZK - LT2_1.2.1 installed. However, I have found that the only way I can get to see clips of FCPX is to reinvigorate the PDZK - plug-in LT2_1.2.1 EVERY time I want to import so that PDZK - LT2_1.2.1 is displayed on the desktop, then I re - open FCPX and select Import once more this time I get to see the clips.

  It seems as if the plug-in is not proceed with the installation correctly.

  I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, welcomed the advice.

  PDZK - LT2_1.2.1 is a plugin XAVC/XDCAM. No plugin is required for AVCHD media.

• I use a Logitech headset to record voices in Media Player to later burn to a CD. There is a low hum that accompanies the voice recording. Can I get rid of this?

  I do a short CD with frog calls. Each frog call will be preceded by a narrative. When I record narration using sound recorder, I store the clips in music albums. When I read them, I have a low hum. How can I get rid from which minimize the buzz?

• Questions about the sound recorder

  My father wants to do an audio autobiography & burn it to a CD. It's basically a beginner on the PC. It has Windows 7. He wants to use sound recorder to make audio clips & then merge these clips using sound recorder. I told her I didn't know it was possible to do with tape recorder, but I want to ask about it on the forum of Windows. Is it possible to merge audio clips using Sound Recorder? I know that it is possible to cut audio clips using sound recorder. There is a free program called Audacity that would probably work. I have it on my Mac. I have a hard time finding how to use Audacity & I consider myself pretty PC & Mac read and write. Dad would be totally confused! So, is it possible to use sound recorder to merge audio clips or Audacity or another program, the only way to do what my father wants to do?

  I guess he could get a digital voice recorder & download audio files on his PC but it would still need to edit the files.

  You can cut but not merge into victory 8 (not sure of win 7) Unfortunately you father wants to do the hard things with an easy program.  There are programs that can do all the above, but they are more complex than Audacity or recorder.

Is there an easy way to remove the video the sound forest part, without having to find the location of the sound and re-do?

  Hi SvnnyDay!

  Place the playhead on an audio clip, then press 'F' to Match framework. This will open the clip (audio & video) with points in the Source monitor and output. Do drag or crush the video above the sound. I hope this helps!
