records showing as shortcuts. contained in the files are not accessible

Hi, I hope someone can help me solve my problem.

During a trip, I used my USB in different rooms, most of them had antivirus software. I have, I think, has contracted a virus that makes the shortcuts in my files. If I try to open these folders with the shortcut, nothing happens. It seems that files and folders are deleted, but it's not tru. I can contact them by entering the location on the taskbar. Then, I can reach the underlying files and folders.
When I look at the properties of shortcuts, I read that the shortcut refers to "pieimix.exe". I typed the name of the file in google but no results. I hope you can help me solve my barely visible files.

On the internet, I found a similar problem, but suitable for thus to get the files on another disk and then format the drive. This isn't a solution for me because the problem later is not only on that my USB has been good on my external hard drive (bigger than my local drives) and a SD card in my camera. The files on my C drive has not changed for shortcuts.

I hope someone has a good solution for my problem.
