RecordSet and the largest command window?

A big problem in the previous version of DW where breakfast a unresizeable windows for adding records and orders. And now I understand that this problem still exists in dw cs3. Really - I thought dw cs3 is also expected for the largest Web site! But they will have more complex databases, recordsets and commands.

See the screenshot on this url

Is it possible to resize this window (and others like that)?

Thank you very much
Sebastian

Yes - it is possible. For PHP/MySQL on Windows, here's what I did:
1] CLOSE Dreamweaver and navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe
Dreamweaver CS3\configuration\Commands (or anywhere where you installed DW)

2] make a backup copy of the file named ServerBeh-PHP - AdvRS.htm (for
other languages of server, you should be able to determine the file!)

3] open the file in a text editor (NOT Dreamweaver!)

[4] find the cell table containing the recordset and changes dialog box the
Dimensions. For example, I change my Recordset advanced textarea
top of 275px height by changing this 75px:

SQL:

onBlur = "updateUI ('SQL', 'onBlur')" wrap = "VIRTUAL" > ""

To do this:

SQL:

onBlur = "updateUI ('SQL', 'onBlur')" wrap = "VIRTUAL" > ""

5] save the file and run DW. Your recordset dialog box will be changed!

I can't emphasize enough how important it is that you save your file (s)
before you change them!

  • Access to SQL previously saved in the SQL command window

    Hi all

If I kept some codes SQL in the SQL command window, should we not available to other developers when they click on the saved SQL tab? I saved an example query and one of my other developers can't see it. I don't see any setting available on the developer account that controls whether or not the account can see others saved SQL.

If this is not allowed, then I see really the point of the drop in the saved SQL owner tab.

    Any advice?

    Thank you!!

My apologies - I've never used this tab so I was not aware of it.

I played a little and it seems that if you are an administrator of the workspace, but your other user is just a developer, then in fact he or she cannot see your SQL. If you were to switch to the workspace administrators, they should be able to see.

    Hello

The image of user account can be removed by disabling the Welcome screen. Or, by opting for the classic Windows theme. Follow the method described in this article, if you want to remove the user name and the picture in the Start Menu, without disabling the Welcome screen and Windows XP theme.

For those who want to delete the user name and the image of user account from the Start Menu, in order to have a blue white Panel at the top, try this:

This problem may occur if you do not have permissions for the file or the location of the file, if the file is located on a site that is not accessible at the moment as a network location or an external drive that is not currently connected to the computer or your antivirus software may block the file.

Why command windows appear indeed when the computer is started?

    Hello

Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
    a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP

    b. it is a possibility that there is a startup program that is launched with a command line and it appears.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  • Why the "open command window here" option menu shortcut in Windows Explorer create network duplicate mappings?

In the intranet of my employer, we have many servers. When I go to manually run the programs on these, I use the hidden feature of the context menu of Windows Explorer to open a command window on the directory with the executable files (by now the SHIFT while right-clicking).

Whenever I do this, a new network map is added to the location network to the location of 'My Computer' in Windows Explorer, even if there is already one for the server (note that this is a region which is populated by clicking on "Map network drive"). At the end of the day, I'll have a dozen of them pointing to the same server (because I'm OCD close windows after I'm done with them).

And when I disconnect from these mapped network locations, they warn me that there is always using the connection, even after closing the process command prompt window.

Why Windows does that, and it's a bug or a feature?

    I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard x 64, SP1.

  • Satellite A200-1NH-AHCI/SATA300/ChipSet and the Installation of Windows 7

    Hi all

    I have a Toshiba A200-1NH.
    Model: PSAE3E-03K01DDU.

Because the hard drive has failed I replaced it with a new one.
    Model: WD3200BPVT.
It is the ATA/300 and 320 GB.

My goal is to install Windows 7. I started with the disks of origin comes with the laptop to install Vista and intended to upgrade Vista to Windows 7 later.

Start with the original installation disc leads me to the first boot of Windows and then the system says "Windows cannot configure your computer's hardware. She's.

I did some research and discovered that she could have something to do with the Chipset drivers.
It is not possible to add drivers during the installation by using the original recovery disk. That's why I tried an install of Windows 7 and adding the AHCI ICH8M drivers during installation.

Windows 7 installation cannot use the drive, any driver chipset I have add during installation, it does not change a thing.

To revert to the original installation disc provided with the laptop, formatted the disk, absolute 0 partitions on it, restarted with disk, create partitions, copy of the data from windows and once again, the message:
"Windows cannot configure the hardware in your computer.

I have not tried to update the BIOS, did not and manual for it that does not use Windows Update the BIOS.
I have not tried another disc. I connect this drive on my Mac and ran diagnostics, that's fine.
I have not tried all the AHCI drivers, I found, there are hundeds, it is unclear which I should use.

    You guys give me advice?

    [EDIT]
New version of BIOS found, cannot use it.
To install Windows, I need to update the BIOS, to update the BIOS... I need Windows.

To my knowledge, Windows 7 already contains the SATA/AHCI driver that's why it should not be necessary to add the SATA driver during the installation of Win 7. Had driver for Win XP or Vista installation only.

This is why I would recommend checking another HARD drive and boot from the original disc of Microsoft Win 7.

By the way: the European Toshiba driver page provides the Intel Storage Manager (this package contains the SATA drivers) just to Win XP and Vista so my assumption should be correct that Win 7 doesn't have the SATA driver to recognize the HARD drive during the installation procedure.

  • Satellite P20 - formatting drive HARD and the installation of Windows XP Sp2

    Hello world

Beforehand, I want to thank you for taking the time to help me with my questions.

Due to system problems I'm trying to re - install Windows XP SP2.

Based on the installation process, I have two questions:

    1. when I start the PC, the operating system Windows XP installation CD in the CD drive, I am unable to run it directly. Instead the old operating system (which I want to remove) starts. Is there a specific key in the Toshiba P20 notebook that runs the CD automatically? I understand that when the Windows XP installation CD to run it gives me the option to format the HARD drive.

    2. If I want to format the HARD disk directly, what is the best way to do this?

Once again, thank you very much for the help

    Best regards

    Q.

    Hello

I assume that you have the original CD of Microsoft Windows XP.
To install a new OS, you must start on this CD.

Insert the CD and after laptop starting immediately press the F12 key.
This will enable the Startup menu, and then you may choose the CD/DVD drive as the boot source.

    As to question 2;
During the installation of XP Setup will ask you the HARD drive formatting. Simply to choose this option and the HARD drive will be formatted.

    Good bye

Can I Satellite PSLB8E use this BIOS and configure XP Pro without doing anything else?

Set controller SATA compatibility mode, and then use Setup / Cd XP Pro?

It should work. Put in compatibility mode and try to install Windows XP Home edition, but use the Windows XP CD edition SP2 family facilities.
    It is very important.
