  1. select * from v$log and see which log file is current. Query v$logfile to check physical file location belonging to current log group.
  2. Take bacup of your curent control file using copy/paste of your OS
  3. Issue following command in mount state
  recover database until cancel using backup controlfile
  4. When it finishes applying available archived logs, still it will ask for the location of archived logs which have not been applied, here provide path of current redo log file you got in first step. Here your recovery will finish after applying current redo log
  5.alter database open resetlogs.

Currently there is no help from this forum about what to do, I copied everything. Downloaded the latest version (29 in this case) of the installer on another computer, then put it on a USB key to switch to the computer being repaired. MS Internet Explorer has never been setup or used (although the updates where installed) on computer repair. I didn't go in time to see that if IE does not work, it is not the point here. Then I moved the install file to a temp on computer repair dir, then he ran. He installed all Firefox and as expected had some problems with Add-ons. Through Add-ons one at a time, only necessary an update download and where well, Microsoft .net should be removed/uninstalled and reinstalled to operate. Then I went back through sets of dir and removed all of the encrypted files that when left behind, not in use anyway. The backup of files where not necessary and I will be remove soon. At the moment, all right. See that it was not so difficult to explain.
