I forgot my password for windows 7 for my laptop and a reset disk has not been created. How can I recover the password or create a new one? and I have a dell inspiron one 19 desktop... your help will be very appreciated thanks in advance!

Here are the usual methods to solve this problem:

    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
    • Logging in as a different admin account and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if create you an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you have activated the account administrator and know its password).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have created such a keyfile).
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)

If none of these standard precautions work for you, then the remedy will be painful. Post again if this is the case.

  • my iphone 6 is disabled. can I recover the data

my iphone 6 is turned off after that I entered the password OK 'evil' has little time. I can recover the data that I didn't use icloud or itunes?

I searched on the internet and there are some applications that claim to be able to recover data lost on the iphone 6. These applications true or is it a case of me having to throw this phone and get an android who has all the drama of itunes and iclouds?

most of these applications is authentic, but you must first unlock the iPhone...

If you only enter the wrong password several times, wait until you enter the password again, and then put it in the correct password.

If you do not or you have forgotten the password, there is no alternative to 'restore' the iPhone as a sense new, you lose all the data on it. When you have no backups, they will be lost for good.

Here's how this (method 3 recovery mode):

If you have forgotten the password for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple supports

After that, here's how configure the restored iPhone:

  • How can I recover the modules and their data from a failed HARD drive (the lost BONE areas, but data files are readable)?

The HARD drive that was my OS (Windows XP Pro SP3) failed and lost quite a few areas which are essential for the operating system running. Other data is still readable. A got another HARD drive and installed Windows XP SP2, Firefox and other programs. I was able to retrieve the bookmarks, security certificates, and other profile information using the information found in bandages.

None of them addressed how do to recover the modules or their data. Specifically, there are several large, elegant scripts that took months to develop and customize.

Articles related to migration and other do not work for me because they require the old copy of FF is functional, that is not because the OS on this HARD drive is damaged. Is it possible to recover these data, similar (or not) about how I could get the other profile info?

Have you copied the entire folder C:\Documents and Settings\username \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ on the old drive?
If this is not the case, can you?
If so, make a copy and save this folder just in case.

If so, you could replace this folder on the new facility by \Profiles\ [with your profiles inside] folder and the profiles.ini file [delete all other files / folders that may also be in the folder "Firefox"] -and then replace with the same folder named from the old failed drive. Note that you will lose what you already have with the new installation / profile!
Your profile folder contains all your personal data and customizations, including looking for plugins, themes, extensions and their data / customizations - but no plugins.
But if the user logon name is different on the new facility that the former, any extension that uses an absolute path to the file in its prefs will be problems. Easily rectified, by changing the path to the file in the file prefs, js - keep the brake line formatting intact. The extensions created after the era of Firefox 2.0 or 3.0, due to changes in the 'rules' for creating extensions usually are not a problem, but some real old extensions that need only "minor" since that time can still use absolute paths - even though I have not seen myself since Firefox Firefox 3.6 or 4.0.

View instead of 'Modules' I mentioned the 4 types of 'Modules' separately - Plugins are seen as 'Add-ons', but they are not installed in the profile [except those mislabelled as a "plugin", when they are installed via an XPI file], but rather in the operating system where Firefox 'find' through the registry.

Note: Migration articles can tell you do not re - use the prefs.js file, due to an issue that I feel is easily fixed with a little inspection and editing. I think you can manage that my perception is that you have a small shovel in your tool box, if you encounter a problem you are able to do a little digging and fixing problems with the paths to files - once you have been warned.

Overall, if you go Firefox 35 35 or even Firefox 34 to 35, I don't think you will run in all the problems that you can not handle [that I cross my fingers and "hope" that I'm not on what it is obvious].

With regard to the recovery of the 'data' for individual extensions - there are many ways that extension developers used to store their data and pref. The original way should save in prefs.js or their own file RDF in the profile folder. While Firefox has been developed more, developers started using their own files in the profile folder. And because Mozilla has started using sqlite database files in Firefox 3.0, Mozilla extended their own use of sqlite, as have extension developers.
Elegant uses the file stylish.sqlite to store 'styles', but something in the back of my mine tells me that 'the index' maybe not in this file with the data. But then again, I can be confusing myself a question I had with GreaseMonkey awhile back where I copied the gm_scripts folder in a new profile and with already installed GreaseMonkey but with no script. These GM scripts worked, but I could not see them or modify them - they do not appear in the user GM extension interface window in Firefox.

  • Satellite A300 - how to recover the operating system without a recovery disk?

First of all, sorry for my very bad English.

I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A300, PC 9 months ago. I had problems with a virus and result is that despite clean-up and disinfection, the computer is still infected and I refused access to the hard drives and regedit.

I thought restoring the operating system factory preinstaled (hopefully, this is the solution and not the formatting) and Barrie told me to check out http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

I did it, but the PC it's imposible because there is no files. I don't have a rescue CD (if newbee).

    What can I do?

    Hello

Usually the A300 (European series) has been equipped with HARD drive recovery option which would be you allows to recover the laptop using the files on the HARD drive. But if this is not possible while something went wrong with the maybe HDD it s due to the infection by the virus

In any case if you are not able to recover the laptop using the recovery of HARD drive you need the recovery disc.
You can order it as suggested by resident on the other hand, you can use the MS Windows Vista disk and can download driver Toshiba page.

  • Is impossible to recover the Satellite M35-S456

    Hello

I have a Satellite M35-S456 of Toshiba laptop purchased in the USA in 2004.
It came with recovery-DVD which includes the WIN XP Home Edition operating system.

The hard drive is broken and must be replaced by the new hard drive. I bought the replacement (for Toshiba) drive from an independent retailer in the city and tried to apply recovery-DVD to install WIN XP. It does not at all. Installation data fron DVD the disk copy has been posssible, but then the screen stays black and silent.

I've heard rumors that Toshiba installs a certain image on the HDD when laptop fate of plant.
This image is necessary whenever you want to re - install WIN XP Recovery DVD.

However, the replacement drive does not have this image.
Installation of WIN XP with my DVD of recovery seems impossible at the moment.

    What can I do now?
All I need is a new disc that allows using my recovery DVDs for the reinstallation of the operating system.

    Can someone please help?

    Best,
    Christian2180

Only the new series of laptops is equipped with HARD drive recovery option and the image of Toshiba is placed on the second partition.
But your oldie was delivered with Toshiba Recovery CD and you might recover the laptop using the recovery disk.
Usually you simply boot from that disk and the recovery procedure should begin.

If your recovery disk is broken or failures, then you could use a CD simply Microsoft Windows and could boot from that disk.
The Toshiba drivers needed could be downloaded on the page of the Toshiba driver us because this model seems to be an American series.

The Mini 5101 is listed as a class notebook business which means security is more stringent that consumption patterns - they do not produce 'stop codes', the password cannot be derived from the serial number and the code is stored in a memory not volatile to remove the cell RTC does not reset the password in this case.

  • Could not initialize and I need to recover the data on the hard drive.

Original title: computer MOM will not start and I need to recover the data on the hard drive.

It's an old computer and I do not know what version of Windows it was running.  I guess I need a bootdisk of exploitation, but where can I download that?  Or would it be easier to pull and make a secondary drive in my computer that I just replaced?  It works under Windows XP.

    Hello

If the old system does not start could be the hard drive. Put the hard drive in another computer as a 2nd drive and then access the files. If you use a computer XP, Vista or Windows 7, you should be able to access the files, unless the drive has failed.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd drive (better) or a USB external drive case and then save up to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives. Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data. (This will not work if the hard disk is defective or other issues preventing the system from booting from the CD/DVD drive.)

  • flash drive crashed; Formatt required; any way I can recover the data?

I downloaded a file to my USB key quickbooks.

The first time that I saved the file to the flash drive errored out in the middle of recording.

When I tried to access the file on the flash drive, I was told the drive needed to be formatted.

Is it possible to recover the data on the flash drive?

    Thank you.

    Hi RexSweetwood,

The problem that you are experiencing is very common, it is often caused by the pluging and unpluging the flash hard drive. In this case, you probably can't get your data from the flash drive, however, if the data in the flash player are very important, you can contact the manufacturer of your flash drive to ask if you can recover the data.

In other words, in this case, you can easily get your fixed USB (the manufacturer can do it), but you probably cannot recover the data.

    Good luck to you.

  • Aspire M5 - 481 how to recover the Ghost image on USB

I have Windows 7 Home Premimum on my M5-481.  I've successfully created a ghost a full backup of the "C:" drive on a USB key.  Now, I discovered I have a corrupt application that cannot be fixed by the seller.  So I want to recover the Aspire using Ghost backup.

My problem is that the recovery of the Ghost BACK does not see the USB. I checked the BIOS and can't see a parameter to allow a native USB drive.

So, any suggestions on how to make the USB drive visible to the BACK, or I could try to use a network storage device?

    Thank you

Well, I was finally able to restore my Aspire, but it wasn't easy.  Here's what I did:

    1. I opened the BACK of eRecovery application and choose "restore windows and data."
    2. I have 4 DVD of my Acer Image backup.  Disc 1 took about an hour to process, then I got a "read error" about 1/2 on disc 2.  If the recovery has been abandoned.
    3. Fortunately, I have a purchased set of official Acer DVD recovery.  But failure at step 2 must have really messed up something because I couldn't open the Acer Recovery (Windows error) program.  So I couldn't use my Acer recovery disks.
    4. But, last resort, I booted from my DVD of Ghost and he finds the restore point I did a week ago.  I was actually able to restore the PC from a USB hard drive.  Problem solved after about 8 hours of stress.

I think I need to stick with Ghost to backup / recovery.

  • Is there a way to recover the deleted files without using any software?

Is there a way to recover the deleted files without using any software?

Is there a way to recover the deleted files without using any software?

    # Software is necessary.

First check the recylcl tray. If she isn't here, read the following:

"Deleting" a file does not delete actually it brand just space be used. There are third-party programs that can sometimes recover deleted files. The problem is that the space used by the file is likely to be replaced very quickly, and this makes the unrecoverable file.

So your chances of successfully recover this file are decent, if you try it again immediately after deleting it and quickly down. If you have used the computer since then (for example to read this answer and write that question), your chances may be very weak now.

But if the file is large enough, it's still worth a try. Stop using the computer in question immediately, if you haven't done so already. Download an undelete program (in here is one: http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html but there are many other choice; do a search) on a friend's computer and bring it to you on a diskette, CD, or drive to the thumb.

If that fails, your only recourse is to bring or send the drive to a professional file recovery company. This kind of service is very expensive and may or may not work in your case.

On a MAC, I can plug my laptop into my office with a firewire port to access the hard drive on the laptop without the OS being ran on the laptop.  Windows Vista has such a thing?  If so, how do you go?  The hard drive on my Windows laptop fails and we want to try and recover the data, by hooking it to a desktop as shown above with the MACs.

"There is no way to access the hard drive when there is no operating system and if the hard drive is connected terribly."

However, you can remove the hard drive from the laptop and connect it to the office with a case of hard disk that comes with the USB cable.

I have a system of windows 7 that we do not have the password. He belonged to a frind who was killés in a motorcycle accident. There is no hint on the password and only one account on the system. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Alfred.

While I'm not the final authority on Windows passwords, I don't think there is a way to reset the password. I think your best bet is to hope he kept important documents on a separate partition. If possible, I would consider doing the following.

    (1) depending on your level of comfort and expertise, remove the hard drive from her computer and hook it up as an external drive to a second computer that already has a functioning Windows 7 operating system. You could then read files on his now "external hard drive' and the search for all relevant documents.

    (2) If you are not comfortable doing this, or it's a phone that you do not have a service manual for, take it to a computer repair shop and ask them to carry out the extraction of hard disk and install as an external drive.

Its hard disk can be configured as an external drive by plugging into an available USB port, either directly by the use of a hard drive to a USB connector cable, or by inserting the drive into an external hard drive enclosure which in turn plugs into the USB port.

In both cases, the reader must be able to be read as its not used as a disk operating system, but rather as a simple data reader, for example, D:\Data disk. Sorry its not better.

    Kind regards
