I see an error message not found any backup sets. Please help me how to restore the data that I took the backup.

Hello

1. How did you get the backup of these files?
2. what type of files you have saved?

I think you might have taken backup using HP system recovery. If Yes, then I suggest you to contact the HP support team.

You will need to back up all your personal files, etc. before executing a factory reset - an option to do this is to use the facilities available in Windows 7, as described in the guide on the link below.

If you did as you say a new facility (factory settings) then all previous DATA from the previous installation will be deleted and disappeared forever.  But you have nothing to lose, you can read this article of EaseUS and see how you go.

  • Is there a way to recover Microsoft Outlook data after reinstalling Vista?

I had to reinstall Vista Ultimate to solve a problem on my computer (as the manufacturer helpdesk told me), and then all the old data on the C drive has been erased. This was done in a hurry, and I don't remember to keep all Outlook files (and then lost all emails, contacts, entered calendar etc.). Is there a way to recover these data now?

If you have an installation clean back to factory settings, you normally wiped your hard drive clean during the process.

    You can try this program:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/Recuva.html

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that allows you to analyze your hard drives or media cards for files that have been deleted or formatted. It presents you a list of files that have been found, as well as an assessment of their potential for recovery, a preview option, and a hex viewer to inspect the content. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g. images, audio etc.) and choose between a quick and a thorough analysis approach. The program also includes a secure deletion option that allows you to permanently delete files that were found while parsing, to avoid any future recoveries.

    Hi elai_89,

After formatting the disk and reinstalling windows, it is always possible to recover the lost data/files.  You can take to a local Sony store to see if they can do it for you.  3rd party software (at a cost) and or contact 3rd party suppliers to help (but with a price).  What you can do is to contact DriveSavers for you help that too.

    Hello

It seems that what he is an American unit and was designed specially for the American market.

But have you used the Toshiba Recovery CD?
If this isn't the case, then you must install all the drivers Toshiba and utilities in the correct order.
    Chipset utility
    common modules
    graphic driver
    etc.

The FN keys supports different function. To use these options, you will need several drivers. For example, use the FN + F5 (the display switching), to the Toshiba Hotkey Utility to display the devices & Toshiba display device change Utility and toggle the Touchpad to install Toshiba Touchpad enable/disable utility

As you can see it good drivers are needed. Please visit the Toshiba us and download the right driver for this laptop

  • Recover data after recovery?

If this isn't the correct forum please move this topic, this isn't a question on the Toshiba product recovery, but directly connected with it (I don't know how it works).

So, the problem is simple, I lost my data because I used the software without a backup (I was distracted)... Is it possible to get it back?
I try with GetDataBack, but I found nothing.
As an extreme idea, recovery disk Labs could operate effectively?

In General before the installation of recovery begins any HARD drive will be formatted and new partitions will be defined. All the data saved on the HARD disk will be deleted.

In any case as far as I know that you can recover deleted data using a third request for the part.

  • Gmail no longer works after reinstalling the operating system

I posted on a forum for Gmail and no one answered. But on the fact that I can access these gmail accounts via web browser and Microsoft Office, I think there must be a problem with the configuration of Mac. I'd like some suggestions to solve my problem!

Recently, I have reinstalled the OS El Capitan on my MacBook Pro 2013 retina. Before the reinstall, I could access all my Gmail accounts through the native application of Apple Mail. Since then, I couldn't access any of my Gmail accounts via Apple Mail.

I tried to disable the two-step verification, but which is not resolve it.

I deleted all count them several times and follow the steps below, but still can not get added (don't say one of the definitions to be insane is doing the same thing twice and expects a different result?

Here are my steps that I take every time:

When I connect, I use my Gmail password.

    Accounts/new Internet account

    Select Google

Enter my user name and click Next

Enter my password (not the specific app password, but the password for Google. I tried both and he always tells me that I have to use the Google password.)

    Click next

The dialog box then says "select the applications you want to use with this account (and the logos of Google lies at the top of this box.).

    My options are:

    Mail

    Contacts

    Calendars

    Messages

Notes (all logos Mac for those apps)

All are checked, but I uncheck everything except Mail

    Click done.

    The gray button 'Complete' on

Finally after that probably 60 to 90 seconds, I get a message through Mac OS that says 'Google account you added'"[email protected] has been added.

In this box, I gives me the options of 'Not now' or 'enable '.

If I select 'Enable', then I get the message through Mac OS that says 'Google password required'. I get my password, and the cycle repeats again and again.

If I select "Not now" then the account appears as 'Inactive' in my list of accounts on the internet. Once I selected, I am immediately invited for the password... and the whole process starts again.

    Facts:

    Accounts are active IMAP.

Accounts have two factors of authentication disabled. If I turned it on, the same things happen, with the only exception to receive messages and receive through my method to deliver, security code, but once I entered it, it can still access my mail.

I have four other Gmail account, and what is happening in the same way with them all.

They are all very well via a browser-based email

They are all accessible through my iPhone and iPad.

I can't access any of them through the native mail app Apple.

They are all accessible through Microsoft Outlook e-mail client (2016)

I even tried to disable the option to allow 'less secure apps.  I tried it on and outside, and nothing works.

I'm ready to give up all my Gmail accounts at this point.

Any ideas (other than to get rid of Gmail!)

If you have not tried this, after completing the settings, try to delete Internet accounts. Go to Mail/preferences/accounts, and then add the accounts there.

  • How can I recover encrypted after reinstalling Windows jpg files?

    ENCRYPTED JPG FILES

I recently had a major BONE down and since my laptop running XP Pro) was bought four years ago in a former

employer, that he hasn't had the recovery discs, I had a techie load discs of my daughter in my laptop. This of course

led to my loss of all files. I had the backup files to a hard drive stand alone. I had about 6 GB of photos, mostly from the jpg

which approximately 1/3 have been encrypted. I don't understand why, because all the photos have been scanned or copied on the

same laptop running XP Pro. I've never knowingly encrypted files. Is it possible I can get these encrypted

files? I don't have the certificate number of the previous operating system. Still, I don't understand why some files would be

encrypted while others were not using the same Windows XP Pro operating system. Can you help me? In the opposite case

I'll have to rescan hundres of photographs. Thank you.

Yes, the repair shop know what they were doing, but the fact that you gave them a Dell reinstallation CD, as well as the fact that you got the computer back without your files, suggests that what the store did was a "clean install".

The facts that the files appear in green and the encryption checkbox checked are bad for you.  Both indicate that the files are encrypted in fact using the Windows Encrypting File System (EFS).

I've never heard of files becomes encrypted without any action of the user, but how the files got encrypted are now irrelevant.

As far as I KNOW, your only hope is to download the demo version of Elcomsoft application linked in my previous post and see if we can find any trace of the hard disk encryption key which is not crushed by the relocation.  I don't know, but I suspect that the free trial will tell you if it can or cannot decrypt your files... but they will decrypt only really if you pay for it.

ElcomSoft claims success in situations like yours.  The less you use the computer before you run the data recovery software, the better your chances of recovery.  I think you have to go with the more expensive "professional" version.

  • How to recover data after the upgrade to Windows XP Home Edition?

    Original title: lost data

My Windows XP program has been replaced by Windows XP Home Edition. Some data was not justified.

Is it possible to recover the data?

My Windows XP program has been replaced by Windows XP Home Edition. Some data was not justified.

Is it possible to recover the data?

First of all, please note that Windows XP Home Edition is an edition of Windows XP. So it makes no sense to say that your "Windows XP program has been replaced by Windows XP Home." Exactly what edition of Windows XP you have before it was replaced with XP Home?

In the second place, who did the replacement, and exactly how it was? Was this an upgrade? A new installation? He did go in Windows or by booting from the CD XP Home?

Thirdly, it was not justified to exactly what data?

Fourth, it depends on your answers to the above questions, but in all likelihood, it says No Mo is quite right: If you do not have a backup of your data on an external, you're probably out of luck, and the data are gone.

  • XP SP3 no sound after reinstalling the operating system

    Hello

I have re-installed the SP3 of XP on my Toshiba laptop and it has no sound after that. You may have installed the operating system in "secret" mode and so there is no sound.

I checked the audio settings are that all settings are correct.

Is it possible to go back again to the sound.

    Kind regards

    R

    Hi RAJRAU,

You can try to check if the onboard sound is disabled by checking the advanced settings of the BIOS.

If so, try allowing it and see if it helps.

You can see the manual of the system manufacturer or contact the system manufacturer for more information on how to make the changes in the BIOS.

Note: Change to the BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

You can also read the following article and try the steps to solve the sound problem:
