Recovery d: Red

Hello

Needing help please.

I have a HP Pavilion laptop of series g.  It's about 3-4 years.  I just noticed that the Recovery D: is red.  I recently had to reset the phone to factory settings.  Also the laptop seems to overheat very easily and has happened since that first I have the laptop.

Please notify.  I checked to see if something is saved to this disk but no other files.

Rgds

N ° document I have provided will explain that the Red is simply average Windows letting you know your partition is full of estates. This partition is especially created for your recovery image and should be complete. This will only affect the performance.

  • Update iPhone6 in recovery mode

My phone is stuck on the Apple logo loop after not updating my phone for some time. I followed all the instructions to update my phone via iTunes recovery mode. Downloading the update last night after a few minutes, but I was still trying to download the update. When he did I put the iPhone in iTunes and started the process of updating. Everything works fine until the loading on the screen of the iPhone bar is almost full, and then it stops, logs off of iTunes and restart again. Ive tried to repeat the process four times now. There is no error message. Is it possible to correct this problem or another solution that does not lose everything on the phone?

    Try:

Put your device in DFU Mode

Follow these steps to put your device in recovery mode iOS. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.

    1. disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, but leave the

other end of the cable connected to the USB port of your computer.

    2. turn the power off: press and hold the sleep/wake button for a few seconds button

until the Red slider appears, then drag the slider. Wait until the device turns off.

    * If you can not turn off the device using the slider, press and hold

Buttons sleep/wake and Home at the same time. When the device turns off,

release the sleep/wake button and the home.

    3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable on the

device. The device must light up. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,.

leave the unit in charge for at least ten minutes to make sure that the battery has some

charge and then start again at step 2.

    4. continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen

When this screen appears, you can release the home button:

    5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following alert of "recovery mode":

    6. use iTunes to restore the device.

If you do not see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, repeat these steps. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.

Note: When you use recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All content on the device user is deleted, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

  • What is the cable of data recovery?

With my flame came a wire called 'data '. What is the difference with a normal Micro USB cable? Is it connected differently?

I noticed that when I connect to my flame using a standard Micro USB cable, then it behaves funny. I saw him restart spontaneously, and also saw him plug and unplug several times. With the cable of data recovery, connections appear to be stable, but I wonder why. The Keon has worked well with a standard Micro USB cable.

    Hi Fekle,

I'm not sure what the difference is in the cable of data recovery. For me, when I use this cable to recharge, my camera flame has strangely, sometimes requires me to remove the battery before restarting the unit.

I had written to T2M asking how to use the wire and this was their response:

Please follow the instruction below to rescue the phone.

Firstly, we send a Recovery Cable with RED label with Flame phone, which is placed outside of Flame package. Please make sure that you have it.

Secondly, please download Emergency rescue tool from http://cds.w5v8t3u9.hwcdn.net/Flame%20Rescue%20Tool.zip, unzip it, run Flame.exe and follow the attached PPT instruction to start the rescue.

  • Red screen

I dropped my iPad 2. It is out of warranty. When I tried to turn it on it started with a red screen with a battery symbol. After a few seconds, he would cycle to a gray, then black screen, then repeat the loop. It would not keep pressed power button or combination home + power or being plugged into iTunes. I left it plugged and after a while the battery symbol has been replaced with the apple logo, but the screen is still red and the infinite loop going.

I can't find something on this error on iPads and no image like that of my screen. I have a picture but you can't post it here.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • Pavilion 500-339: no audio after recovery

I had to do a recovery on my computer. It was the recovery where I didn't lose my files. For some reason, my sound card is lost in the process. I have a red X over the speaker at the bottom right of my screen. I tried to fix it by using the process when you are prompted, but nothing helped. Any help would be great. Thank you.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer is to reinstall the audio driver W10 since your PC support page and see if that solves the problem.  Install and reboot the PC.

This package provides the Tempo High Definition Audio Driver for assumption of office models that are running a supported operating system.

  • Satellite A300 - no sound, the "speaker" with a red icon

    Hey there!

So, I got this Toshiba sat idle until I decided to restore it to factory settings and start using it again. I remember exactly if I didn't sound the last time I started before restoring it, but now, after three reinstalls I've still no sound, all I have is the speaker with a red x icon.

This laptop is using Windows Vista 32 bit, I had no problem during the restore, everything has been properly installed except audio drivers. I'm sure I should have something in the sense of "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver" or something on the Manager devices, but all I have is "ATI HDMI Audio" and three devices not recognized and the only thing that appear on the output devices is "Realtek HDMI Output/ATI HDMI Audio" and say that it is not. Already tried to reinstall the Toshiba drivers, Realtek, even went as far as to try to force Windows to install the correct driver, but it ended in a BSOD.

Then... I'm really at a loss. I really want to restore the sound, and I refuse to believe that there is no solution. The device is detected every time even though she has not recognized... Then... Am I missing something?

    Help, please. =(

    >... until I decided to restore it to factory settings
Original recovery image contains all the necessary drivers for all hardware components, so its driver must be installed correctly.
Can you please open the Device Manager and check the status of the sound card it.
    Please post comments.

  • Impossible to uninstall Toshiba Recovery Media Creator

    Hello

I can't seem to uninstall Recovery Media Creator every time I try to uninstall I seem to get a red x error message with the error code (-5005: 0 x 80070002),.

I think that this has been caused by the system restore, it can removed a file in the folder of the Trusted Installer, I tried literally everything I know but can't seem to remove it.

I got my recovery so I tried to remove it because of that and bothers me like when I can't remove a program, I have no idea how to manually remove programs but I have a little knowledge with systems operating so if theres any advice on that would be great.

    Kind regards

Visit the Toshiba download page, download and reinstall Toshiba Recovery Media Creator. I hope this will solve your problem and then do what you will be able to remove it.

  • HP Z620 workstation: HP Z620 Workstation - WS displays video & Fans Spin loudly or fails - red light with 8 beeps

    Hello

    I have a HP Z620 workstation.

    My processor is an Intel Xeon E5-2660 SR0KK 2.2 GHZ 20 MB 8 GT/s LGA 2011 8 - Core CPU.  More correctly, it's a category of Xeon E5-26xx (dual processor), 8 cores, frequency 2.2 GHz, turbo 5/5/6/6/7/7/8/8, 8 × 256 KB L3 cache 20 MB L2 cache, 95 W TDP, Socket LGA 2011, i/o bus 2 × 8.0 GT/s QPI, × 4 memory DDR3-1600, release date 6 March 2012, CM8062107184801 part number.  This is version 1, not version 2, which is good because the card in my system startup block date 20/12/2011.

I am using Kingston ValueRAM 16 GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 1333 MHz DIMM Desktop Server Memory.   (J'ai également essayer écarter un problème de mémoire utilisé FUREUR de Kingston HyperX 8 GB Kit (2x4Go) 1333 MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM - black (HX313C9FBK2/8)) as well as herself, to see if that makes a difference.)

I don't know how to identify my system board other than the one she reads only numbers as "FMB-1102" and "PBLNV0GCY4N0TF" and "such as #618264-001 REV 0 G'.  He has "hp (copyright symbol) 2012 ' and"E93839"and"FXN1"written on it as well.  (After some searching I guess it's card mother 618264-001.  Which differ a card system like 619559-001 - a model later?)

My graphics card is a XFX R7 240 780 MHz 4 GB DDR3 HDMI DVI VGA graphics card.  (I also try out a video card problem used an EVGA Nvidia GeForce GT 620 1 GB DDR3 SDRAM PCI Express 2.0 x 16 video card to see if it would make a difference.)

Regarding the power supply, the power supply standard HP Z620 computer PC 800W Power Supply S10-800P1A 623194-002 717019-001.  (I have more than one and who have tried also.)

With respect to the hard drive, I have formatted and reused a WD Blue 500 GB Desktop hard drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb / s, 16 MB Cache 3.5 inches - WD5000AAKX.

    My problem:

1 regardless of what video card I use, if I use the FURY of Kingston HyperX 8 GB Kit (2x4gb) 1333 MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM - black (HX313C9FBK2/8) memory and starts, I get a blue light, no beeps, no code of message I can say.  However, no tension of the video card (fans not spin) and no power is supplied to the drive hard (do not load and run).  I get a blank screen and can see nothing.  Back fans begin to turn in very strong and turbo mode.

2 regardless of what video card I use, if I use the Kingston ValueRAM 16 GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 1333 MHz DIMM Desktop Memory Server, I get a red light and eight beeps which means a kind of ROM BIOS/CMOS-problem problem problem.  To this end, I tried pressing the button Clear CMOS without result.  I removed the CMOS battery for a sufficient period of time and again.  Nothing changes this situation.  It only happens when I put this special memory in the computer.  If I stick a USB Thumb Drive with file BIOS (BIN) in it which is 3. XX or higher, it will boot to the BIOS on a limited basis.  I also had to understand that I couldn't do anything with a USB keyboard, I could only select options using a PS/2 keyboard - maybe it crashes on some USB devices at this point?

    3. I understand that if I let the rider of recovery from crisis on the 2nd and 3rd pins rather than pins 1 and 2, that it will load from a backup and I can actually do things.   On this basis, I was able to install Windows 10 education 64-bit and a host of programs and otherwise, use the computer normally.  But I can't start unless I have keep that crisis rider of recovery set to pins 2 and 3 and so he can start in the operating system normally by pressing F1.

    4. I while on Windows, updated the BIOS to the latest version, HP Z420/Z620 Workstations system BIOS 3.90 Rev.A (August 8, 2016) using sp77058.exe (19 MB).  I've also updated other drivers as I could with the HP SoftPaq Download Manager (SDM).  None of this changes the problem at initial boot upward.  At the start he complains front chassis fan does not turn, but this is not a problem I have printing allows to stop a boot to the top, it would give just a warning and still boot normally.

Well my computer works and does that as long as I keep this crisis recovery jumper on.  But I feel that I should be able to solve the problem and he can begin without interference and without resorting to a measure as drastic.  Suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance for your time.

    MR. J.

    Juggerknight,

Keep the rider of recovery of block starting on pins 2 and 3 of E15.  It's 'off' because the 3 pin is not connected.  Put the jumper to pins 2 to 3 "parks" the rider.  Put the jumper on pins 1-2 active boot block recovery mode, and the system does not start with the jumper in this position 'on '.  (You have already discovered this)

In addition, do not mix unbuffered and registered in the same system memory.  Use either one or the other.
