• Advice on all round security suite for PC family

  Hello

  Basically, I'm looking for a recommendation on an all-round security suite protect computers oriented families 2. Currently I use a paid version of Spyware Doctor with anti virus and Avast 4 Home edition free, even if they seem to do the trick, I'm looking in a more complete suite (i.e.. Including the back ups, id protection, etc.).

  I tried Norton 360v2 and liked the interface and it seems to work pretty well, but I'm not sure about the protection that it provides that upon expiration of the test I used spyware doctor and it detects, treats 3 low. I've read reviews online, but I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation?

• Recommended Security Suite for Firefox 25. Using Mcafee Security Center 12.8 worm, I was wondering if I should change to Bitdefender or Kaspersky? Any suggestion

  Have 2 Win 8 machines, running Firefox 25 and a laptop with Win 7. All three are using Mcafee Security Suite ver 12.8 with Anti Virus 16.8. The subscription runs out in February 2014. I would like to make a change and I'm concerned about compatibility with Firefox worm 25 issues. Are there problems of compatibility with Bitdefender Security of Windows 8? Are there problems of compatibility with Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 or Pure 3.0 Total Security? If I make changes on the security Suites, I'll use the same version on Win 8 and Win 7 machines. All three will use Firefox 25. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  I am the user principal and administrator of this desk top using Windows Vista Home.  I'm trying to download Norton Security Suite Dowload Manager of Comcast Xfinity.  When I select "Run" I get the message "Download Manager requires administrator privileges to download and install the product."  It only allows me to run the selected product.

  Recently, I was given an all-in-one Photosmart C6380.  It came without driver/installation disk.  I will link to my workhorse desktop with XP Pro 32-bit operating system.  We have two laptops with Windows 7 operating system.  I want to be able to print from wireless laptops.  Should which driver I proceed?  I found the XP driver but it is version 12.1.  I read that was a version 13 or higher needed for the printer to work a Windows 7 operating system.  There are tasks to accomplish what I want to do?  If Yes, where can I find the patches?

• How can I create system recovery disc for a new laptop with windows 7 Home Premium?

  I just bought my daughter a new Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7 Home Premium laptop last night. The laptop came with a Windows restore disk. How to create a set of boot from the DVD then when the system fails, or I need a new facility? I created a system repair disc and two-disc Image recovery. Is this enough to fully restore Windows 7 to the initial state of machines? (Technology at best buy assured me that it was nothing that I was able to do and that they would do for me for $70.00.)

  In short: my Dell came with a system recovery disk which was very convenient. I would like to reproduce this convenience with Windows 7. Any help appreciated.

  You will need to follow the manufacturers directions to create the recovery media. Looks like you've done that, but Toshiba could only say with certainty. I recommend that you contact their customer service.

  I get the ready to install icon every day, all the time. Downloads, it will fail to install. I looked at the history of the installation failed, and the error code is 0x8007f0f4.

  I would recommend that you follow the below given steps and check if this solves the problem.

  I suggest you to restart services of Norton in the list of services and set - the Norton on automatic.

  Follow these steps to run Norton services

Updates following Norton Security seem to be a bit behind Norton 360. Norton said currently their Norton 360 product can be updated using Live Update and the toolbar does not work in Firefox 22, but this does not seem to solve the problem of the toolbar with Norton Security Suite. It is a very frustrating issue that is causing me does not want to update to Firefox.
