• How can I remove Vista and replace it with XP on a Dell laptop without losing my partition to factory?

  Vista has conflicts and no current update on my laptop and the mouse keyboard, so it is erratically. Since an upgrade of Vista has been added to my laptop, it has been in place. The cursor seems to have a mind of its own and I can't change the mouse settings. There is not an update to Vista since the device mouse or keyboard. After countless hours of lost looking for a solution, I decided to give up the garbage of Vista and I refuse to pay more money for the upgrade to Windows 7. So I want to go back to XP, but I can not install XP with the installation disc that came with the laptop. It stops the installation and tells me that I have a newer version of Windows. What I read, I have to do a clean install, but I want to do, so I do not lose the hidden partition that has been installed by Dell. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've used Windows years but this abortion of Vista is too heavy for me. And it's like cancer, I can't seem to get rid of it! Time to think about a Mac soon, I guess.

  A clean install will go to the C:\ drive and does not affect your partition recovery disk D:\ (as long as you tell him installed on C:\ assuming the disk that is the drive of the current system and disk D:\ is the recovery disc).  Note that, with a clean install you will lose all your data (everything on the partition - not everything on the disc if it has more than one partition) then you should backup your data first.

  Keep in mind that Mac have their own set of problems - different from Windows, but they are not without problems (and you probably have some software that works with Windows and it would be a shame to lose that).  You just need to help solve your problem (or, if you wish, to return to XP which is probably more stable than Vista).

  The Toshiba Recovery DVD is only one of the disks that came with your laptop.
  On this DVD, you'll find a Toshiba recovery image that contains the operating system Windows, drivers, tools and additional software.
  If you want to redefine the laptop to factory settings then just boot from the recovery disc and the installation will begin.
  But note; the recovery DVDs will format the drive so HARD integer if necessary backup data.

  Other programs like Win DVD or Norton Security are OEM versions and, therefore, are only on the Toshiba Recovery DVD. It of not possible to download it!

  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  You will not be able to do it without damaging the recovery partition.  If you want to do a fresh install on your system, use the system recovery.

  If this isn't the case, you will install the operating system of your choice.  So before you send that the laptop came with the operating system, and you supported drivers for the operating system you want to install.

  If this isn't the case, you will not be able to find in driver support and you end up with hardware problems.  The drivers are built for laptop based on the OS that it was released with and they are owners.

  I get by creating most of the time the artwork for my ad in photoshop, my finished product is always good, but I'm not an expert by any means.

  Currently, I am in need a yellow real estate sign post... all sock images that I can find to buy are white. I'm sure that there is a way to fix it, but I'm coming without the required knowledge...

  If I spend a little time I can obviously do a better job, filling all space missed, but the image loses the grain of wood and other details...

  As always with Photoshop, there are several ways to achieve this.

  One method would be to select the woodwork in the Panel (see below) and to promote this selection into a new layer Ctrl (or cmd on a Mac) + J

  Then select the layer effects (by clicking on the button fx at the bottom of the layers panel.

  Then select color overlay

  Choose the color that you want to

  Then play with the blend mode (you will probably find that multiply or color will work better - but have a play).

  To select the woodwork, you can use a number of methods, including the following:

  Use the pen tool and then convert the path to a selection

  Go to the menu select, then select color range

  Use the quick selection

  There are other ways (do a search to make selections in Google)

  Another method would be to create an empty layer above the layer that has the Panel and then (on this layer) with the paint brush tool on the Panel with the color you want. If you multiply or the selected color in the blend mode, you can keep all the texture of the original image.

  As I said there are probably at least another 99 ways to do it - the above is only a few suggestions.

  I suggest that you have a good game and see what happens.

  Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to do it.  I think your device either custom or environmental VeriStand (be it in your aliases, channels calculated, etc.), you will need to rename each variable/channel at some point along the string.
