recovery - request to get next sequence archive # to apply

Hello guys,.

I'm working on a database of Eve by script and I need to get the next archive sequence # to get it back.

When I run the recovery database he knows who is the current change # and what is the next sequence archive #.

SQL > restore database using backup controlfile;

ORA-00279: change 5634463917 at 11/05/2015 September 02:13:50 needed for thread

1

ORA-00289: suggestion: /u01/archive/archive_1_142116_848080349.arch

ORA-00280: change 5634463917 for thread 1 is in sequence #142116

I just need a query for change # or the sequence #.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Jonas

Hi John,.

I think I got it.

Select sequence #.

v $ archived_log

where first_change # in (select min(change#) from v$ recover_file);

Don't know if this is the best way, but seems to work...

Thanks for your help.

Jonas

    Hello
In your previous post I told you. Have you checked that?
Reset you the primary journal number.so sequence that does not match with your physical standby DB control sequence file number. Re-create the standby control file.

    ORA-00341:
    =================================
Cause: The internal information in an online log file does not match the control file.
Action: Restore the right file or search newspapers.
    =================================

    Kind regards!

I'm doing a DVD with POE.  I use Windows 10. When I do, I get a request to get an encoder activation code.  When I enter the code.  I see that the error transcodeerfout.  It ends there.  The program does nothing even if I wait several hours.  I restarted the program several times and even rebooted windows 10 several times with no results.

I can do a MP4 file that is no problem...

    Thanks for the update.

To turn off the preference for "use hardware acceleration (works on Intel HD Graphics 2000 and newer), you'll change the Menu/preferences/general and remove the check mark next to this option." Please refer to the screenshot below

If you are working with an Internet connection, enable the feature usually happens automatically. Some times you can see reviews this blinking on and off the screen when it happens. If there is a problem with Internet connect or computer security, you are expected to have problems with certain characteristics and its requirement for the first time use / one time that the activation.

    Please consider.

  • Media, recovery waiting for thread 1 sequence (in transit)

I have rebuilt our standby database using rman double since it lacked many newspapers of archiving.

After the double, the eve is now almost in sync with the primary. The Marbles that ship through, but are not implemented in a timely. How long should wait to a journal of the Archives of the primary to be applied to the waiting?

I need to know this so that a good script can be configured to check the primary and standby. For the moment, that they are never exactly synchronized - sequence always one behind the primary number.

Why is Eve does not have in a timely fashion?

    From the journal of alerts:

Media, recovery waiting for thread 1 sequence 11278 (in transit)

The journal seems to be "in transit" for a long time

I should add that I understand that for the primary and standby to be interrupted by a newspaper is not a concern (they ask). It's just that I wanted a check that compare the two script and at the time where they are never equal - when I understand them to be, and that newspapers should apply almost immediately.

How long should wait to a journal of the Archives of the primary to be applied to the waiting?

also depends on the speed of the network.
Make sure that the archives are shipped instead of sleep.

    PRIMARY:
    SQL > select max (sequence #) the journal of v current_seq $;
    CURRENT_SEQ

    11278 (it's not connect archivelog)... :)

    SB:

    MAX(SEQUENCE#) APP

    YES 11277

Hi check MRP starts or not?
database principal that you must not check the current sequence, generated check last sequence... not common sequence.

current sequence is redo log, which has not yet been archived

I think that everything is perfect here... no problems.

Hope you understand, I would like to know if it is not explicit, thank you.

You don't give any info on what was the original problem with the computer.

You have set the Bios Setup to boot from the CD/DVD drive?

At startup, it will say press F2 or delete key to go into Bios/Setup, or maybe F12 to go to the Start Menu.

And have you tried also to tap F8 at startup and choose Safe Mode from the list of Boot Options?

Use up arrow key to do this, press on enter.

Browse your Hard Drive manufacturer's website, download software from here and test your hard drive for errors.

    Hello

You are booting from the recovery disk?

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

If you continue to have problems with the help of Toshiba recovery disks, you will need to contact Toshiba.

As you get a blue screen, you may have a hardware problem.

  • keyboard shortcuts to switch to the next sequence and zoom

    Hello World video editors!

More I work with Premiere Pro, the more I like it. There is one thing that annoys me tho, I can't assign two shortcuts:

    1. I would like to be able to use ctrl-tab to switch to the next sequence open (down time)
Ideally, also SHIFT ctrl tab to switch to the previous open sequence
    2. I wish I could use cmd - and cmd + to zoom in and out of my calendar. (do not larger or smaller lines)

    Anyone?

    Thank you!

    Hello

To switch between the tabs of the sequence, you can use SHIFT + 3 .

And = - to zoom out and zoom in.

What the USER_TYPE_USER_TYPE_ID_PK about USER_TYPE_ID column.

How to start the next sequence of the max value of USER_TYPE_ID (100,000).
    Something like this:
CREATE THE USER_TYPE_ID_SEQ SEQUENCE WITH (SELECT INTEGER (MAX (USER_TYPE_ID) + 1) OF USER_TYPE)
But it does not work. Any help is appreciated.

  • request to get the next date which is not a public holiday

    Hello world

I need help for a query.  consider the following data

    holiday

    -------------

    SELECT To_Date('12/28/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('12/25/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('08/31/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('05/25/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('05/04/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    curr_DATE

    -----------

    SELECT To_Date('12/25/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('12/24/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('12/23/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

data of curr_date are the main table.  given a date, I want to join the vacation and the date of the Curr so that the result will be a date that is not a holiday.  for example, what gives 28 Dec.  the next available in curr_date < 28 dec date is dec 25. However, dec25th is a holiday on the guest table if the output should be dec 24.

Another example is the following: given dec 25 date, the previous date, unless that Dec. 25 is dec 24th dec 24 is not in the host table output should therefore be dec 24.

Another example: I'll add another line to the curr_date table. If the data will look like this

    curr_DATE

    -----------

    SELECT To_Date('12/28/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('12/25/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('12/24/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

    UNION ALL

    SELECT To_Date('12/23/2015','mm/dd/yyyy') double holiday

given dec 29, the next available in curr_date date is less than 29 dec 28 dec. However, dec28th is holiday in the host table. the next available date is dec 25 in curr_date, but once again dec25 in the host table.  the next available date is 24, but this date is not in the host table output should therefore be 24/12/2015.

So basically I want to do this in the query by joining the two tables.  can anyone help? pl/sql is ok if it cannot be done using quries.

    Hello

If you want to use a join, here's one way:

    SELECT MAX (c.holiday) AS last_non_holiday

    OF curr_date c

    LEFT OUTER JOIN holiday h ON h.holiday = c.holiday

    WHERE c.holiday< to_date="" (:cutoff_date,="">

    AND h.holiday IS NULL

  • Assistant to recovery request satellite L655D-S5116 - drive

When I get to the Recovery Wizard on my toshiba l655d-s5116 I should be able to select and move to the next screen where I can choose recovery (out of the box). I did in the past without problem, but now when I click on Recovery Wizard the cd-rom opens asking a disc?

Never seen this before, then how do I do a factory restore now? I always have a recovery partition. and also why it does that now?

    Hi camitch1974,

I put also t know why this happens, but have you tried to insert the recovery disk? If not try this and check what is happening.

In the worst case and the disk HARD recovery doesn't work, just use the Toshiba recovery disc. It can restore factory settings too but it erases the disk HARD whole for backup all files before you do this.

  • When I try to make the recovery discs I get 'Sonic PX.dll not found'

I'm doing the recovery disc for my Windows Vista desktop.

I check the box 'create a recovery disc for future use.

On the next screen, I get the error message "Sonic: PX.dll not found."

    Help would be appreciated.

    Hello

You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer using the recovery disks do.

Your computer manufacturer has implemented their own recovery discs manufacturing process, and is not a process of Microsoft Vista.

You can, with some manufacturers still buy recovery discs.

    See you soon.

  • Qosmio G35-AV600: using Recovery CD I get partition not created error

I recently ordered a recovery for my Qosmio G35-AV600 disc, because I started in safe mode to clear an alleged threat. Silly me! I forgot the password because I constantly use the fingerprint reader. Well, at the time where, that drives recovery came, I had remembered a password and access I.

The thing is I always want to format the laptop, but I get partition not created not errors. Is it because the laptop hard drive has SATA or RAID capabilities, or because of the so-called Qosmio player. * If I could format the hard drive, I would not be able to use the laptop Qosmio mode? *

I searched here and even contacted the customer service and have not found a definitive answer. Customer support's solution was to send to an authorized repair shop. My experience with computer repair shops, is that if the problem is not hardware related, they simply reformat the disks. I could do it myself if I could get help with this "partition has not created" or the partition not deleted"errors.

    Hello

I agree with you and I also think that this has nothing to do with the hardware failure.
But who knows, if you started the operating system in safe mode then we shouldn't exclude the hardware problem (IE. HARD DRIVE).

However, the restore CD contains already all the drivers and you n t need to install SATA or RAID drivers.

In my opinion, there are bad RAID settings in the BIOS!
Please check the settings in the BIOS on the third page.

If you know n t that mean simple settings, you open the user manual and check RAID chapter in the user manual.

  • Satellite Pro A120-185 - need Vista Recovery disk - never get a

Hello, my trusty Satellite Pro C: is completely filled, and so I would wipe and do complete a new installation of Windows.

It came with VISTA on it when I bought it several years ago.

It's a Satellite Pro A120-185 and the operating system only disk I got with it was just something to 'upgrade' disc of Vista.
I bought and paid for Windows Vista with the laptop, thus so I wouldn't have a license can I reinstall?

Please note that I am an advanced PC user, I'm not looking for ways to reduce the space that my household is good and I uninstalled everything I do not use or need.

I just want to be able to clean the laptop and reinstall Windows Vista... is it going to be possible? (I don't see why it shouldn't be because Vista came with the laptop!). Please tell me where I can get the windows disk since?

    Hi dude

Read the other discussions on this topic even here in the forum.

You didn t get this disk because you create the recovery disk using the Toshiba recovery disc Creator called pre-installed tool.
This was mentioned in the manual as well!

However, here you can order the recovery disk that you didn't create yourself.
