Recovery set

I bought two HP x 2 ultrabooks slot at the same time.  I have to do a restore to define for each of them or will that be the same defined recovery work?

Hello

If the two books have EXACT SAME model number and name, version of Windows (for example, Windows 64 - bit Pro 8.1), material - a set of recovery discs is sufficient.

Kind regards

When trying to do the recovery to set up the computer says it will format the flash drive and erase all data.

That these are recoverys bootable, you will need to use 2 sticks.  You can't dual boot a USB flash drive.

ASM disk groups: + DATA = 2.0 TB

My question is - if + RECOVERY diskgroup is 0.6 TB size and archivelog files go to the diskgroup, this means that the database has all 0.6 TB available for the archivelogs? RMAN backups are stored on the file system.

    Hello

Yes, it seems you have 0.6 TB.

If you use + recovery to the other physical files, then maybe you'll get less than 0.6 TB

Why do you not another place to store backups and archives?

The best practice would be to let the backups and archives within the FRA.

    I hope this help you

  • Re-create disc set of system recovery after OS upgrade from Vista to Win7

Hello, my HARD drive crashed, and as part of the replacement procedure, I also bought an upgrade of the OS Win7. I used my original restore disks game for the PC to Windows Vista and then upgraded to upgrade to Win7. I want to re - create the defined under Win7 recovery disc, in the case where I never restore the OS again, to avoid restoring Vista and upgrade to Win7 process. Unfortunately, Recovery Manager reports that a recovery set have been achieved and can be done again.

Is it possible to redo the restore with the new OS Win7 disc?

    Hello

Is maybe my English is not good enough, but I didn t you understood. Maybe you can explain your problem in more detail.

Is that you need to start your device while CD1 recovery is in the CD/DVD drive and it should be set as first boot device. When the procedure starts recovery you can choose how it should be installed (European units of standard and expert mode). The installation procedure illustration is like an MS-DOS application and you can see how many percent is installed. When the installation procedure is completed, the unit restarts automatically and you must go to the hollow Windows Setup before you can use OS.

Sorry, but at the moment I can't tell you more about your problem.

  • Free update to Windows 10 and Toshiba Recovery Media Creator

I got the Windows Logo 10 on my laptop satellite and I'm waiting for the free update promised by Microsoft. I want to ask about the Toshiba Recovery CD Creator. I already have my DVD ROM from Toshiba Recovery set. What could we do? Will be the Toshiba Recovery able to create a recovery disc for Windows 10 upgrade to allow me to recover my laptop for Windows 10?

Is there one advises or precautions?

What could I do if I want, in the future, to refresh the Windows 10 installation?

I recommend you to create an image after you have finished the upgrade to win 10.
Image can be created using 3rd party software.

Creation of new partitions usually breaks the F11 function. You burn your OS Recovery DVD game? If so start from to recover your original software.

If you burn your recovery set, you can order from HP for a small fee.

  • Need CD recovery WIN XP Pro Sat A60

I need to re build my A60, but lost the recovery CD number 2, where I can download the CD recovery set.

    Thank you

    Simon

    Hi Simon,.

Sorry, it is not possible to download the recovery CD. You can get to a Toshiba service partner, and you will have to pay for it.

Alternatively, you can rebuild the system, if you have an original CD of Win XP. The rest is on the CD tools & utilities can be downloaded.

  • How to get the recovery disc for Equium?

    Hi all

He left the recovery CD / DVD.

It is in 2 minds as if there is even a recovery set in the box with the device, it is possible that there is a partition
in the unit which contains the files needed to recover the laptop?

The laptop is slow and the old man was doing the usual mush (navigation with no AV filter or spam) against my advice.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated and if Toshiba watch, is it a regime in place for the drive to

    Hello

I think you have no chance because the Toshiba Recovery CD is mostly delivered with the laptop and you will find at the disk, only the drivers of Toshiba.
But these drivers, you can also download from the Toshiba page.

What you need, it's the recovery CD and this CD you can only order from the Toshiba service partner in your country. It s not very expensive.

However, the other possibility is to install the OS from the Microsoft Windows CD-ROM, and then install the drivers of Toshiba.
As I said above the drivers you can download from this site.

  • Re: Satellite A210 - Setup Toshiba Vista Recovery error

    Hello

Last February, I bought Toshiba Satellite A210. Yesterday, I had to reinstall the system to obtain the original factory using CD DVD recovery setting. I followed the step shown on the display until I came to the scene "Format partitions. Start to copy No 1/5 to 4/5 things that I forgot the name, what happened to copy and suddenly I get an error saying that it could not copy data or an error of data redundancy check failure and "Please press any key to continue" and I press a key to continue, and suddenly the cmd window disappeared.
I realize it was shown another cmd window on the bottom, and when I maximize the window I don't see is something like

    X:\widowns\system32

I didn't understand what I need to do. If I restart the system and do same thing again and I get the same error.
First of all, I thought that my HARD drive is perhaps a foul on him so I used my one other original cd of Windows Vista to install Vista to see if my HARD drive is correct.

During installation, I see 4 partition and one of them saying WinRE. In any case, I have install my vista. But I need original cd data recovery, so I can install the driver.

Then later, I tried to use DVD CD-recovery and I get the same error I describe above.

Does anyone know what was wrong?
It is very difficult to call from the night to the Toshiba Help Center so I will try to get an answer in this post.

Thank you for reading my post.

    Kind regards

    Hello

I got my A210 laptop several times and had this problem once.
In my case the black cmd window appeared and I didn t know that I have to do.
So I closed that window and nothing happened.
Now, I know that I have to leave everything until the installation process would end.

But listen buddy; you said that you have installed the Vista using an original DVD of Microsoft Vista. Well well, in that case you n t need the recovery DVDs for the Toshiba driver installation.
All need Vista drivers are available on the European driver Toshiba page.

Check the driver page, select your model laptop, then you should get all the necessary drivers for Vista!

    Good bye

  • To retrieve a different recovery Cd to a same HP2000 model HP2000.

Two years ago, I bought two HP2000 329WM laptop for my two college students of age. Of course, neither a fact DVD recovery kits, and they have rarely bothered to save. My son's hard drive just crashed, then put in a new hard drive and a start to reconstruction, but I see two teams 1 - no key set 2 - software His recovery is not readable to use his laptop computer as a laptop (helloh!) while wearing shorts. Sweating clears ink not expensive Microsoft uses to print the labels.

My question: I made a recovery in the value of the computer of my daughter she uses very slightly in recent years. Can I use this recovery set for my son's computer after you replace the hard drive? His computer will become an exact clone of my daughter's computer, or get only a return to the factory settings operating environment?

If all else fails, and it must buy the rcovery set directly at HP, the inability to read the software key label will become a problem to restore the computer?

    Your impressions are greatly appeciated.

Yes you can use the recovery of the other machine.

Your new hard drive must be the same size or larger than the original. You will find yourself with a copy of that computer, but you should be able to start to recovery, & a system restore to the State nine factory.

runs aground, you can buy the recovery cd & No. must grasp the key will be the license through slic certificates related to the bios of the machine.

If windows 7 you can visit the links & license help in discussions below as an alternative.

  • Bluescreen apears on Satellite A40 after installation of the recovery CD

    Hello

I have a Toshiba A40, and I tried to restore the system to factory with product CD recovery setting. The booted CD systems and you are prompted for an installation which was then completed and asked to restart the computer.

However, after a reboot, the PC is not booting. A blue screen appears with a message that "Windows cannot be started due to some problems. Please check viruses or hard drive '.

Then I started the PC with another disk bootable CD and checked for the latest anti-virus that doesn't show anything. Then I run SCANDISK on the hard disk and it doesn't show the problems.

    Could someone please advice?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

It is perhaps a silly question, but have you used the right Toshiba Recovery CD designed especially for the computer laptop satellite A40?

I read many threads here in the forum about people who has recovered or tired to get the phone clean with different and wrong Toshiba recovery CD s.

After this procedure the laptop will not work properly and the BSOD could if poster because drivers preinstalled on the image of Tosh are not compatible with the laptop!

    So be careful!

HP support assistant proposed to create the recovery of our new laptop (HP Envy 17-j008eo) - by default, the program 'create recovey together' can create recovery set to DVD (single & double layer) and external USB Flash drive.

As I have a good NAS RAID-based system of home network, I want to create the recovery on remote drives har located on my NAS. Can I do this? How?

Sorry, but once again the answer is no it takes DVDs or a 32 GB USB Flash drive.
