  As mentioned by others, it's time for you to start to use RMAN to make your life easier.

  If you want to identify the archive logs generated before starting your backup, check your alerts log. You will see something like the following in your alert before 'begin backup ": log

  Thread 1 Advanced to record the sequence 14891 (switch LGWR)
  Currently Journal # 2 seq # 14891...

  In this case, all archive logs with seq #.<14891 are="" older="">

  You can try this...

  create two files on .bat and the second .sql file and more planning the .bat file

  The .bat file can be like that

  off @echo
  RMAN target sys/xxx@db_name @.

  and for the .sql file, simply add a line

  Run {}
  delete archivelog all completed before ' to_date (sysdate - 2);
  }

  and finally to plan the .bat file using the task schedular system

  So I was legitimately deal with this, but I thought about it.

  Apparently, anything you download is checked and it does not show in your desktop folder.

  If you connect to your cloud to Adobe online, you can go to 'Archived' under 'Files' and delete everything again.

  I don't know if you can disable archiving, but it does not work. I was able to download a * after hours of not being able to file.

  Sorry about that. Its 11g 2 R (11.2.0.1) and OS Version is 2008 R2 64 bit. Sleep is in auto recovery mode. (hope this helps).

  Check with the manufacturer of your system and their forums support (if any) because they all have their own methods
  to preserve all data. If all goes well, it has been saved. When you backed up the files ask or tell you the
  location such as another partition or he asked a removable media such as a CD or DVD?

  My database 11g in archivelog mode, I noticed that there are batch files generated in the RDBMS directory with the extension.001 when I also have the Archivedlog file under the flash_recovery_area *.arc files.
  Why is it that I both files. I know that there are overlapping each other. Can I just delete the fichiers.001 since I already have the *.arc in the flash_recovery_area. If users RMAN *.arc during recovery of the database why don't I have again the fichiers.001. The fichiers.001 use a lot of disk space. Can simply delete, catalog RMAN deletes it. 001 when the program remove it during my recovery.

  Hi Alicia,.
  you could see the file from archive where you installed your Essbase server. If you specify a full path, you can view the file from archive to this destination. Oh... Oracle recommends that you use .arc extension with the file name. Don't forget to say.

• Help Wanted: Recovering from loss of HP Recovery Partition files

  Let me start with an explanation on how I lost my partition (go to the next paragraph, if this information is not required) up to March 2010 is coming up soon and so is the date of expiry on the Windows 7 Build 7100 (RC). So I restored my system back to factory conditions. When I pressed F11 I say a lot of options but the last two had confused me. An option said to recover as long as the plant, the other of the said Reset. I chose Reset (must choose the other), and when Vista Premium of hope was finished reinstall, I found that my labeled "Recovery" partition was almost empty. It says "6.19 GB free of 6.25 GB" (http://i48.tinypic.com/1zmguw1.jpg) so about 60 MB is used even if there is no visible (or hidden) file during navigation.  End of the story.

  Now, here's what I have. I have the recovery disks HP Recovery Manager asked me to do the first day. And I have this almost empty partition, the recovery files used to be on. Did not fit or did something else with him.

  ONE QUESTION: is it all similarly to recover the files from HP on the recovery Partition recovery using the above discs?

  I realize that I don't have partition and disk, that alone is sufficient. However, CD and DVD scratches easily, there is no real not a guarantee I'll have my safety with me NET. This is why I am no longer comfortable with 2 forms of file recovery. And so I ask above is impossible to do on the assistance of my own without HP (which is not free)...

  Not sure what happened to your recovery partition, usually it is recreated during recovery.

   

  As for making copies of all of the recovery, it's a very good idea. They can be copied directly with many CD/DVD burning applications, or converted to ISO for burning.

• How to copy the database using rman file from another location.

  You can clone data base using the files of rman backup from somewhere else (on the server to clone).

  Note: Oracle_Home is used as an alias for your real oDS ORACLE_HOME.
  Feel free to copy this note to a text editor and do a find/replace on
  Oracle_Home with your real value (no slash). Then, it is easy to
  copy and paste the actual orders to be run from the copy of the memo.

  (* 1) * download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jacob-project/jacob_18.zip
  and extract to a temporary staging area. Do not attempt to use 1.7 or 1.9.
