  I'm trying to scan a document with a 305 V dell all in one printer, but it records in a file photo/jpg.  I'm trying to convert the document to PDF.  The imaging Toolbox doesn't let me check box to place the Toolbox on the office.  I tried uninstalling the printer and then reinstalling and I can't tick the box that says place of imagery of box to tools on the desktop.  I look at all the files and I can't find a box to imaging tools.  I wonder if this printer is compatible with Windows 7.  Does anyone else have this problem?

  Windows does not contain PDF features or tools, so the problem must be in the printer drivers and/or software supplied with the printer.  You need to contact Dell to see if the printer can do what you want to do it or not.

  This problem can occur because of a corruption in the installation of .NET Framework.

  You can follow the steps to repair the installation of .net framework.

  a. Click Start, and click Control Panel.

  b. navigate to the program and features.

  c. scroll down for Microsoft.Net Framework 4 Client Profile, do a right click.

  d. it will give you a choice of uninstall/change, click it.

  e. you will get an option to repair, select Repair.

  f. restart the computer and check.

• Qosmio X 305-bad image on the external monitor quality

  My x 305-701 has excellent image on the original monitor, but if I connect the laptop to Acer 22 ' VGA cable I get a blurry image on the external monitor only.

  It does not matter if I use two monitors at the same time or just the Acer, the external monitor is always blurred the laptop monitor is always perfect. I tried the external monitor in 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050 and have adjusted the frequency of refresh of all available parameters, 59 Hz, 60 Hz and 75 Hz, and the blurred image is still there.

  I love this Qosmio and appreciate it even more on the widescreen monitor any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I know that LCD screens are blurry if set to non-native resolution. I think you need to set the correct resolution for the external monitor. Check your external display native resolution and set in display settings.

  I do a lot of scanning and this access point is perfect for me because of the function 'add another '. But I now have a major collapse. When I try to save a scanned image I get this error msg, "record broken: you save the photos cannot be written to disk." Check your free space on the hard disk and write permissions for where you save your pictures and try again. »

  This error is not dependent on reader, however my default drive for my scans has 35.7 GB free and I do not have the write permission.

  Anyone know fow to solve this problem?

• Griaule SDK fingerprint reader

  Someone with experience with the readers of Griaule SDK and fingerprints? Anyone have any documentation that explains the different ActiveX controls and invoke the nodes? The manufacturer is not very useful, and without any guidance on for ActiveX controls, I have a hard time finding it.

  At this point, I want to just communicate with a scanner print Futronic FS80 and display an image on the screen (no identification required).

  Display of the image is actually the hardest to do in LabVIEW.  You will have to use a Microsoft Forms control or buy Image Toolbox of George Zou (not available for LV 2010).  In his Toolbox, there is a 'Handle of Bitmap Image cluster' function that converts the hbitmap to a cluster of data image.  From there, you can use the standard "draw flattened Pixmap" VI to convert the Group of image data for a data type for the picture control LabVIEW.  Unfortunately, George Toolbox Image has no schema, so it does not compile forward or back to other versions of LabVIEW.

  I don't have a lot of success with the Microsoft Forms control since I'm a programmer (not VB or .NET) G.

  You have Dell all-in-One Center, Dell Imaging Toolbox or Dell printer home installed on this computer?

  I am currently struggling with customizing the workspace. I read the document bpmui - admin.pdf and changed the logon_panel.gif. I deleted the browser cache, rebooted server and I don't always have the image I used to replace the original logo. Can someone please?

  Try to replace the opening panel of session with one of your image files you need all the files "logon_panel.gif" found on the underside of places, recycled the Foundation services and cleared the cache from my browser again and again but just cannot get there.

  I was able to solve my problem by adding the line below in my epm_rewrite_rules.conf so that OSH redirected the replaced image gif file:

• CM1017 MFP will not print

  I just bought and installed all 4 toner cartridges for my cm1017 and settled.  The printer says no problem, reports of the utility of diagnosis of hp without questions or problems, when I connect to the ip address of the printer all the pages show no problem, paper loaded, factory restored, firmware update installed.

  When you turn on the printer, you can hear the ventilation mechanisms and plateau and cartridge activated, loan if poster, all 4 levels of toner display full and ready for use.

  When I try to print it says "Print Document" and nothing happens, no noise of any kind.  Now before you start thinking this is a problem of driver or o/s we will just end that here and now.  I can unplug the printer (I have correctly connected by usb and tcp/ip during trials).  Without connection to a pc, I try to print in the menu of the printer to the demo page, the config page, the page supplies - is not serious it says "Print Document" and there it remains always with no error message or anything.

  Can someone please help with this problem before I have to transport to the dump!

  * Other referrals for any HP staff who can read this:

  1. your universal and CM1017 install drivers specific very well, they don't add an option to uninstall for win xp.  If I get rid of this printer, I can't delete the driver packages.

  2. I downloaded the 500 MB win xp full package for cm1017 (North America) on the hp site.  It has bugs, which gives a "parameter invalid" by train to run one of its exe in the installation script files, so I can't install the imaging Toolbox, etc..  He then asks me if she can report the problem and find solutions.  It then downloads the 'solution' to my problem which of course resolved nothing.  Cannot install this package on win xp.

  3. a printer that displays "Print Document" that only ever and never reports an error and gives never until you press the button cancel printing is a design that is very frustrating.  If you think I'm just not wait long enough I said to print a test page and left it for the night.  15 hours later the screen say "Print Document" that is long enough?

  This problem has been resolved after several hours of frustration.  Apparently, when I replaced all 4 toner cartridges something failed during the calibration step that followed.

  The problem is that the printer never reports an error on that he is simply says "Print Document" and never does.

  I removed the toner cartridges and replace them again and the printer has experienced a process of calibration minute several afterwards, I am pleased to announce that the printer works again.

  Apparently, there's an error state that can occur during calibration that the frimware printer fails to recognize.

• Quick Q re: loading external swf in flash

  There is probably an easy fix that I am right on...

  I am building a Web site where I have several external swf that I load it into my main movie through buttons (using release, container.loadmovie ("movie.swf"))

  There is a clip on the main timeline with several thumbnails, which act as buttons to load each swf. Sovereign wealth funds are loaded within the timeline of the movieclip (not the main timeline). When each swf is loaded, there is a 'return to the thumbnails' button for you back to the page of thumbnails on the main timeline.

  Everything works fine, except that when I click on the button "return to the thumbnail" and it brings back me to the miniature screen... the SWF is still visible as a reason any. The button is just redirecting to an image labeled on the main timeline where the miniature screen slides in... but he loses not the swf file and I can not understand how to make it go away.

  You will probably need to use a unloadMovie command to get the swf to go away (container.unloadMovie ();).

• FF38.0.5 redirects to pages that doesn't open, asp/images/bg.png, won't Google as default browser.

  I just put to day and all of a sudden when I try to log in to some forums or Web pages, I see the page for a split second, then I see the box asking for Adobe Flash for a split second then it redirects to a page with the suffix /asp/images/bg.png, and the page displays "Page not found"

  I tried trashing and reinstalling FF.

  Could check you that you have all the extensions not recognized on the addons page? Either:

  • Command + shift + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. So, if in case of doubt, disable the extensions on the right side (or if it is completely unknown, delete). Remember that extensions are optional; none is included with Firefox.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Is that what helps you regain control of Firefox?

  If the problem persists, you use Kaspersky Security software? Some versions have a feature called "Anti-banner" who have been known to cause redirects to a GIF file. This is a different file, but it seems pretty similar to this problem.

• Control additional images of Qosmio X 305-701 external

  Just bought second hand x 305-701. Single video card. Vista 64-bit. I try to use Acer x223w 22 "external and get what appear to be additional images on the external monitor only.

  It doesn't matter if I run two monitors just only Acer in its native resolution of 1680 x 1050 or 1440 x 900. I'm really loving this machine and would appreciate it even more on the larger screen. I installed driver newest is found on the Web from Toshiba site, seems to be even a Web ATI site that I was directed to by Everquest when installing game. Game works wonderfully on the laptop monitor.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Do you mean that you can view the image on a single monitor. I guess I don't understand the "additional images".

• Recovery image NB 305 on SD card

  I did a little experimentation and I would like to share the following:

  I managed to create a usable recovery image by doing the following.

  1. buy a micro SD 8 GB card, place it in an SD adapter. (or buy a 8 GB SD card)
  2. Insert the SD card in the usual place.
  3. run the software Toshiba Recovery Media Creator.
  4. leave the default USB option selected under backup media.
  5. let the course ends.

  To check if you have:
  Re-start your nb305 with the inserted SD card, press F12 to start screen and choose the obvious option to boot USB

  You can safely abandon the re-store in the appropriate location until all the files are overwritten.

  I tried this twice, once with a Kingston & once with a Sandisk card, both with 100% success.
