(Redirected) Black screen on Alienware X51TM R3

My son computer no longer works. The screen is black. The mouse cursor is visible, but nothing comes on the screen. CTRL + ALT + DELETE does nothing to solve this problem. Unfortunately for us, our guarantee increased last week. Can anyone help?

When I try to start I get the following message on a black screen with a blinking white cursor.

No boot device available, strike the F1 key to try again to start.

    SATA 0 INSTALLED

    SATA 1 INSTALLED

    SATA 2 NONE

    SATA 3 NONE.

Hitting the F1 key simply repeats the message. I followed several other pc (MajorGeeks) support forums suggested and took the Office in a local pc repair shop, they have found no problem and it booted up fine! I get home and reconnect only a new keyboard and mouse wireless, get the same black screen with the message above. Very frustrating.

  • (Redirected) Black screen Dell Inspiron 7537.

I bought my Dell Inspiron 7537 last year only to use it for 7 months before the part of my screen went completely black. There are like 3 or 4 black lines which became bigger and bigger by the day. It was still in warranty, so I took my laptop to my dealer. Its been almost 5 months, my dealer told me that Dell refused to send a replacement screen first. When Dell decided to send a screen it was the wrong. Reference Dell claims now that they don't have the type of screen that needs my model and I have to wait, like 5 months is not enough. I tried to contact Dell without a bit of luck. I hope that get answers here or something. Sorry for my English is not my mother tongue.

BTW someone with the same problem with their reference dell inspiron? My dealer told me that they had the same problem with the same model and once again, DELL would not send them a replacement screen.

Initially, I was trying to update Windows Windows 8 to 10. After having a Setup error, a message of Alienware Respawn arose on update before you upgrade to Windows 10. I decided to go ahead and try it, after updating my computer restarted and not Sam a black no signal screen. After a few hours, I thought that nothing was happening so I reset my computer. Now, whenever I start all I get is a black screen with no signal. I tried to run hdmi cables and it didn't fix it.

  • (Redirected) USB Flash Drive Boot (BiOS) - black screen/freeze/without end of loading - need help!

    Hello community Dell:

I have been using your Inspiron desktop for work. Work requires me to a startup USB flash drive every morning to access work files and programs. I just press F12 and select the USB flash drive that brings me then in a workplace Ubuntu after entering my credentials - very easy.

I recently bought the X 51 office because I wanted the game after work and it was intended to replace the Inspiron.

X 51 issues (boot BiOS - secure boot off as with the Inspiron):

UEFI = I get a black screen after the "loading...". ', it freezes the whole system

Legacy = told me to restart the system and drive and the message repeats little matter what you press

I tried USB different slots, ending different to access USB - nothing works!

I tested another theory that would disable the GPU of the X 51, but this proved futile because the problems themselves was replicated. The GPU is the only unique component between two desktop computers. CPU is i3, i5 vs, vs 4g 8g, 1 TB vs. 2 TB, so I do not see these improvements of specification being the culprit. The X 51 has a different unique Alienware BiOS interface.

The X 51 will be returned to Dell unless someone can some up with a solution - I would be eternally grateful, thank you.

3 start with on the SSD on the system, and even at the bios level that the symptoms remain.

Anyone knows similar symptoms with their unit and if what was then the final fix deployed to solve these problems.

  • Alienware 51 X R2; Black screen problems

So I installed a new driver for my GTX 645, and then he was only running games with my integrated graphics card when I run on Steam.
Still no change, I went into my BIOS, and change the graphics settings to "discreet".
    Still, no change.
I decided that was stupid, so I uninstalled the driver. And reset my PC.
Once I reset my PC I get nothing but a black screen. If I plug my headphones I HEAR the boot, so, I know it always works.
I think maybe if someone could walk me through how to get my graphics to integrated, I could solve the original problem from there, perhaps a number of times to press Tab, or something. I'm even ok with factory restore, all I really on this is games and others.

    Thank you

Ah, nevermind, I solved the problem by plugging the HDMI into the GPU directly, and change the BIOS settings back to auto, now the only question is my integrated graphics crush my games.

  • Satellite C50D does not (black screen)

    Hello

I have a problem with a Satellite C50D-A-133 which does not (rest on the black screen).
I tried the reset procedure and I replaced the RAM without success.

    Has anyone had this problem?

    Thank you in advance.

PS: for information, if someone reads Toshiba does not have this message, the french support site (redirects to the homepage when you enter the serial number or by selecting the model in the list).

By reset procedure do you mean remove the battery and by pressing and holding the long power 30 dry?
It is the common procedure in case the laptop doesn't wake up no more.
But of course this will help in case of a hardware problem.

It would also be possible that corrupted BIOS CMOS data prevents the machine to start. This can happen in case of module of the BIOS EPROM, but this should be verified by the authorized service provider

As you can see, it's really not very easy to say what could be wrong here

  • Win XP virus/black screen/can't use computer: Please help!

My system crashed after antivrus died in macafee and windows; think that there was an automatic update, that sort of USB mass device had been loaded (not by me). Initially, managed to get in line for 1 min max and I saw that Macafee caught a Trojan horse think in April. Tried to update to macafee but only got 78% then crashed. Now can't access the internet at all. When I nowtry to run in safe mode, system stops to... partition\windows\system32\drivers\Mup.sys. When I try to load normally, see "Windows XP" logo then black screen. Have a Dell Dimension 9150 and have run diagnosis: no problem, all is past. I tried partition magic and got code 1516. Tried chkdsk/f, but no joy. Help, please!

In this situation, I would try to remove the malware as a cause of the problem.

Start the computer in safe mode with network and download and install Malwarebytes (free version for individuals only), updated definitions and run in safe mode. Disable other security software while you do the analyses.

  • Games black screen

I'm about to shake off the balcony of my Alienware 17 x R4. I have a computer game that won't play games and I can't find a way to make do. Whenever I start a game the screen turns black and the game is reduced in the taskbar and won't play no matter what I do. No error message not just an icon in the task bar and I can hear the audio of the game. I tried EVERYTHING I found in ALL the forums, I have visited and nothing works. Is not graphics cards is not the firewall is not the resolution settings, is not the compatibility settings, it is not game management applications, is not the games, is not material, so what causes this problem? I'm more frustrated by that. Please, someone tell me there is a PERMANENT solution to this problem. I'd hate to have to trade my beautiful machine for a Mac, but if it comes to that, I will. I need a computer, I can do everything on including playing games. This seems to be a Windows problem. I use Windows 7 Professional. I'm supposed to be relaxing between semesters at school and take advantage of my free time playing games but I lost 2 weeks trying to solve a seemingly irreparable problem and I have not yet played a single game! Help, please! Thank you!

"- Online games play very well, but I prefer to play in offline mode." It's only installed games that won't play. »

Optional update - KB 2670838 is known to cause some problems with games. Unfortunately,.
If you use IE10 is necessary.
One of these potential problems is loading games while offline because it can cause some games search
for an update and if off line looking blocks the loading successfully game (even games that have no line update options). I don't remember what is happening on the machine of my wife (she has many
'Flash' similar games she gets from the local library), but I could have discovered this problem before
    his machine has been updated.
BTW - you can disable auto-install optional updates and allow automatic updates with the update 'important '. However, I prefer manual, so I can choose a time to allow the updates to install with full use of machine resources. It reduces the risk of corruption updates.
It is even more important with graphics driver updated, regardless of the DELL, Nvidia or AMD with
    options for automatic updates.

While the machine can start in selective startup that does not mean he does not start something
with Windows, or a Service that can cause a conflict if you want to check this possibility.
It could also be something that you load manually after you start in Windows. Things like
system optimization/tweaking software can often lead to problems.

As games have the same problem with two charts we know that drivers are not at fault.

I don't remember if it happened when I was KB 2670838 installed, but there is also something in relationship
games run with black screen crashes that I don't remember and is not my
Notes (or simply have not found where), but I'll see what I can find.

  • black screen problem M14x

    location:

I installed a skin pack (this http://skinpacks.com/download/windows-7/red-alienware-skin-pack/#.U5B1jRZWlUR), a few days later I felt that it was not pleasant so I uninstalled it. After the process, my screen is completely black, I didn't really know what to do so I forced the closing down of my computer. (it works when I tried to install the skin pack, I think it was one step behind however) Then, when I tried to start my computer, it just loads the logo then a black lit screen (usually will be the login screen), lit black screen then keeps changing black light not lit at all, it simply continue to do and (maybe forever).

    What I did then:

So I went to google and find the solution, I found the solution by pressing the F8 key to display the early start option to start in a safe atmosphere, but pressing F8 does nothing for me (don't really know if this method works well) after like 4 h a solution I decided to post in this forum.

    Additional information:

All I need is a solution to recover my computer to the operating state, I don't mind if my things you lose (Nothing important in my computer everything), but I prefer to get my things always. Everything still works well, the lights on the keyboard are the word 'ALIENWARE' is always on and also, I can feel cold air coming out of the computer, so I guess that my fan is still fine.

Please advise me on how I can solve my problem as soon as possible

  • Black screen problem.

    Hello!

While I was watching a movie from Itunes on my iphone and took a screenshot. As I looked in my album, I ended up getting a black screen. There is a desire for this?

I guess this is supposed to work this way because you don't own the rights to the film.

  • iPhone 7 more stuck on black screen with the spinning wheel

How can I fix it? I tried to reset, go into DFU mode, recover from iTunes. Nothing works. I can't use iTunes because he wants me to grant access from my iPhone is not responding. DFU mode doesn't work, the screen does not any combination of seconds I hold down the buttons to. This has happened more than an hour. Should I just wait for the battery to die? Please note that I do not live in the United States or the U.K. or anywhere with an Apple Store, I can take it to.

    Thank you

Hello! I think that I may have a solution to our problem of the black screen with the circle of rotation.

I came across this post today because my iPhone all nine 7 (which I've upgraded to the latest ios) also got stuck on a black screen with the circle of rotation. I tried to update some of my apps, when suddenly the screen froze. I clicked once on the home button and the screen become black with the subsequent appearance of the circle of rotation.

I have tried everything - simultaneously press the home button and power (does not work). connected to itunes to do a restore (it won't let me not because my "find my iPhone" was turned on - but I could not turn off because my phone was insensitive).

In any case, a very useful Mr. Damon (Senior Advisor to Apple) helped me via chat to solve the problem.

    Here's what I did:

    1. make sure that your iPhone is disconnected from the socket or the computer.

    2. hold the POWER button and the VOLUME DOWN button at the same TIME. If it works, the screen should turn off almost immediately.

    3. connect your iPhone to the computer. (when I have connected to the computer, my iPhone automatically on and was ready to be reused).

The steps below are for those whose iPhones did not turn with the above steps. The following steps are designed to allow you to disable remote your 'find my iPhone', so you can do a manual restore from iTunes.

    4. go to www.icloud.com.

    5. click on Find iPhone

    6. given that the phone is turned off already, he won't be able to find it. On the top bar, click DEVICES.

    7. click on your iPhone.

    8. click on "delete account".

    9. go into your itunes and do a restore.

I did have to do steps 4 to 9 more, because as I said, my iPhone automatically activated after step 3.

This really worked for me. I hope this works for everyone else too! Have a great day!
