  Same problem here. Updated 8 victory to win 10. Fans go wide open and stay at max as soon as

  I start up. Command center has no update and I have already installed the BIOS updated. It comes

  ridiculous.  I can't even let windows take control of the fan because of the BIOS.  All I can do is to reinstall the

  Dinosaur of a command center program and the fan set to the manual curve control. Always great turns open

  until the thermal regulator takes the relay and kicking to the wire to manual control.  You would think that they would be in trouble, but

  everything I said me to do is to uninstall, unplug the computer, the power button down for 15 seconds, then

  Reinstall the command center. Work on boot 2 or 3 ups, while fans are full bore once again.

  Hi I am having problems with my r4 aurora. the fan failure system from time to time at boot. Alienware thermal control always indicates that the system is at 0%, but the fans work physically. I'll try to post a screenshot of him when I got home. His is my r4 Mithraeum my 1st died after 4 months of owning my r4 is now the replacement and my warranty expired in March last someone can help me out thanks in advance.

• (Redirected) Custom power and light dim Alienware X 51-Graphics card broken?

  Right then I was in the middle of something today when, without warning my whole system stops. But the power light was on, but weakly. I searched through the forums trying everything I found and nothing worked. I then open my case and take out the graphics card I saw somewhere that someone found it as the issue. After extraction of the card, my PC started normally so, is my broken card or is it possible to fix this?

  The pc is also an alienware x 51 r1, and the graphics card is (I believe that, according to serial number on the sticker) a gtx 670. And if you have any suggestions for new maps at the same level with the gtx 670 or higher graphics that fits, I'd love to hear what you recommend.

• (Redirected) My system Aurora R4 started hanging, why?

  I got an Alienware Aurora R4 since 2012. I had two SSD and a disk HARD innit. The c:\ designating the Windows 8.1, is an SSD.

  Last week I noticed, that after leaving the computer alone for 15 minutes, the programs that were running stopped responding a new wouldn't start. If I tried to restart or shut down, the system won't be fair. It crashes on restart or shutdown screen down.

  So I did a format and an own 8.1 window install. Everything has worked out well. I installed my games back and a lot of software... and then I left the computer for 10 minutes... and boom, Total Commander did not and nothing else was going to start. Had to decline again closed.

  Please help me :(

• (Redirected) DELL POWER EDGE Server 720 R - no boot messages sequence appearing while the server starts

  Hello

  I have a dell 720 R service class machine. In general, the system should display the boot messages during boot sequence. As the logo DELL followed hard details of memory, disk and network hardware card / other details etc. Is it not?

  But my machine shows no such messages to the screen during startup. There remain a Virgin until he enters the desktop screen. What could be the cause and the solution to this problem? For this reason, I am not able to choose boot options, or anything during startup. In the hope of a solution to this case.

  My Alienware Aurora R4 light not after a black out home. I took it will be checked and technology, said that the power supply does not work. I decided to look for a power supply, but as I'm in Toronto, the Canada, it is difficult to find dell parts unless you buy online.

  I managed to find a PSU in my town that seems identical to that on my system, but I don't know if it will work on my system.

  Original Power Supply Model # H875EF-00 (that's the one that was inside the alienware aurora r4)

  I found - power supply model # H875E-00

  Two of these blocks of output 875W power but there is a difference on the sticker by reading the tensions here is the difference between the two models:

  Model # H875EF-00

  INPUT AC (50-60 Hz): 100-240V ~ / 12.5 A

  + 5V AND + 3.3V SHOULD NOT EXCEED 225W

  ---

  H875E-00 model says no.

  INPUT AC (50-60 Hz): 100-240V ~ / 14A

  + 5V AND + 3.3V SHOULD NOT EXCEED 150 W

  I would like to know if it is possible to replace the power supply with the model #H875E-00 in my Alienware Aurora R4. This power supply would cause computer damage or make one of the components do not work properly.

  Hello, since my diet is reel whining I would change it

  I was looking for a bit of the PSU and found this one

  is it good?, fit into the section of PSU aurora r4? It will connect to the back plastic, that normal power supply is connected to the rear?

  Also I don't know anything about sata cables, but there so much that normal power supply I mean it will be able to connect to what it is now? (only the change requiring more sata is the addition of two extra hdd/ssd (there was a spare sata cables))

  and... I need something more than that? (some wires or something?

  I have not wand to buy the same PSU again because seeing how it survived...

  Hello. I will address this, knowing that other users information. Your old harness case will be removed, the new chassis will have its own cables. The EVGA 850 GQ is ok, but the G2 is better, you can find them on Newegg / eBay / EVGA.com etc.

• Aurora-R4, seeking to upgrade power supply for a better quality of power supply that is not a brand of Dell?

  OK, I have a R4 Aurora, and in my view, that it comes with a power supply of 875 watt. Not 100% about this though. For now, I want to upgrade the power supply to a power supply, so it can support say double cards video in better quality SLI mode. The problem is that the PSU 875 does not have a rail system unique to 12 volts to 50 amps of power support to handle difficult loads of power and provide ample cooling in the power supply. What I would do in the future, it is out of the current PSU, I now and looking to buy a decent POWER supply unit elsewhere. Reference Dell sells a power supply higher than I can use existing wiring, or should I find another brand of PSU and seek to replace the power wiring? And how is it difficult to install if I have to use a different power supply with a different wiring? Installation instructions?

  I typed my answers below Joe right B4 my Alien arrived last fall & b4 I got much Aurora psu swap knowledge or experience; What follows is an IdeaStorm on how to game-plan & handle swap psu Aurora, with a forum for archives where last year not too many messages in-depth existed on the subject, & Joe here desktop & my own experience of swap, details surface as others have done swaps using the accumulated knowledge we all collection / post in our success stories.

  It uses a standard size of W 150 mm x H 86 mm | 5.9 "x 3.4", where length / depth is the variable that changes according to the size / output etc. Their 460w is about 5.5 "long while their 850 is 7.5" long. Both of their power supplies will be manageable short cables even if a spare chassis can come with long cables (one size), where a sectoral approach to theirs in a new requires diligence to cable manage all new cables whilst being aware that the swing arm is to close entirely & the side panel back on , that's why care are guaranteed when you install a new chassis with new cables IE "slow work & think through '."

  The stock fan on the heat sink thermal condition of the R5 Aurora stock runs just as fast as it can while holding a 6700 k, you mind, at a steady temperature around 30 C idle. Previous the cpu and psu were almost silent, whereas now the fan seems to run to rpm max powered an EVGA 750 watt p2 modular power unit cpu1 slot. How can I reach the bios to lower the fan speed?

  Yet, I am not "awake" not until the Caffè Verona + mix roast French kick. I do not have the model of your computer, but your service PDF manual available for download on the R5 Dell.com support page lists the Bios options, lists the right place to connect the fan to & lists the keyboard button to push to enter the Menu of the Bios. At a time like this, I could put back the original power supply in there, confirm the fan installs, if so, replace the new power supply in, see if again deploys spazzes

  If your bios menu has no control of the fan speed, a swap of psu se do not spin faster or slower radiator fan. If you have ordered the 6700 k to the Fund, you would have power 850w. If you have installed the 6700 k yourself, using pneumatic radiator, it is possible the 95 watt cpu needs best, as the cooling liquid cooling.   It is possible, the motherboard as expected 'react' different when deleting in the 6700 k; It is possible that since 6700 k factory liquid cooled, the spazzes motherboard when the owner puts 6700 k themselves but without cooling liquid, such as a small problem, uses one table different fan / or a set of parameters of the fan speed (6700 k + pneumatic radiator = incompatibility) that hopefully you can change in the Bios somehow somewhere but maybe not

  It is possible that you can hand-place 3rd fan header 'pump', trying to fool the mother board, lol, see if the cpu fan slows down as a test. Still, I do not have this model, I think that the motherboard that waits for a signal fan/tachometer on the header of the pump in response to 6700 k, good luck with it

  My question is related to the flow of traffic with an ASA 5555 X with the power of fire services module and a WCCP redirect a device of the WSA.

  I think that the traffic flow should occur such as:

  Traffic http--> ASA--> FP IPS--> WCCP in the WSA Proxy--> (Internet cloud)

  In this way the IPS could identify all customers before traffic hits the Proxy of the WSA.

  So the question is, is the policy of Service on the SAA get processed before the WCCP redirect? Is - this configurable? Or the ASA deals the WCCP redirect before the Service policy routing traffic through the ASA?

  There is no plan to join WSA ASA/power of fire or FTD. Each has strengths and treats the customers with different requirements.

  WSA like you know offer customization deep and rich reports or web filtering. However, it is limited to http/80 and https/443. Firepower is an easy solution if you already use it for NGIPS and/or Malware protection. It lacks some of the features of the ASO reporting (although FMC can be highly customized if you dig deep).

  There are also OpenDNS to consider whether it's capabilities are calls for you.

  My Aurora was bought in 2013, I have no guarantee, I need at least to know if anyone has had or knows what this problem is. I left my computer on at night, I did several times and never had any problems, but this time I was awakened by the high-speed rotating fans. Tired I simply cut off the computer. I wake up the next morning and whenever I try to put on the fan runs at full speed and nothing happens, monitor, keyboard, mouse, nothing. So I unplug the drill rig, hold the power button to do the thing, sorry I forgot what it's called. This time he lights up for a split second then turns off. I know that's not the power supply cause I tested it. I tried to do the reset cmos and nothing thing. Someone please before considering anyone I would at least like to know what the problem is.
