Redistribution of Visual C++ Service Pack XP
I get notification update for the following: Microsoft Visual C++ Service Pack 1 Redistribution Package MFC security update.
I welcomed this update any number of times and yet it continues to invite me to update again. I ran the update from Microsoft and it recognizes as this update is necessary and I allowed him to do the update but it reappears.
How do you get the path of the troublesome apparently UN necessary updated?
The solution to this problem has proved to be a simple. To eliminate the repeated appearance to install unnecessary C++ update security, rather than allow the update to treat as recommended, in EXPRESS, I chose the CUSTOM which enabled the opting out of the update and more helped remove this update in the future.
