Reduce the size of the file with the wizard in action
(German version below)
Hey,.
I had two questions for action Wizard in Acrobat Pro XI.
I'm trying to reduze of many PDF files file size using the action Wizard. My tests worked fine, but now, I had a few problems, I try to explain now:
1. I add a directory with several subdirectorys in my process list. Adobe adds now not only PDFs to my list, it adds also JPGs, DOCs etc. This means that I have to delete each file I want to convert it to cause PDF only, I want to reduce the size of the filter file PDFs. possible to add only a PDF file in my list of treatment?
2. If a PDF document is opened by another user, I get information on this subject. This info, I need to recognize whenever he appears to cause my process interruptions. Is it possible to ignore this info?
I m happy for any help I can get here. THX.

Hi Christof
I talked to the developers internally, as I suspected, the office product 11 Acrobat does not fit to meet the scope and the requirements of your particular problem.
I discovered, however, that our Adobe LiveCycle product is indeed suitable and contains the appropriate file optimization code to properly address your problem. The problem is that the product is a pretty expensive proposition, for the same service you need at the present time, since you will need to acquire it. However, the LC product manager has me supplied with some third party service providers who use the LiveCycle server already and will be able to optimize your files.
I have sent you a private message with their contact information. At the moment in what concerns 11 Acrobat, and I filed an engineering change in order to understand better selectors file in Acrobat 12 type, I will consider this matter as closed.
Thank you
Mark

How to reduce the size of the file of a picture with Windows 7?
Can I reduce the file size of a picture with Windows 7 to make it easier to send multiple photos in an email? Also some websites limit the file size of a picture to post on the site.
There are many ways to do it. But if you want to do only with Windows 7, without having to download any programs to deal with, then your best bet is the built-in paint program.
- Right click on the image you want to reduce, and choose "open with > paint ' in the menu.
- In the painting, choose file > save as (or press F12 to shortcut).
- In the save box, choose the menu file type JPEG downwards and the name of your image. JPEG is the most compressed (smaller) size of the images.

Reduce the size of the Photo file
How can I reduce the size of TIFF picture files below 20 MB
Export to JPEG
Or of cultures
or export with smaller dimensions in pixels
The reason why you use a TR TIFF not compressed, so there is no loss of data - so it is very broad - must either compressed (JPEG format for example) where there are some (very minor I you use low compression - high quality) or delete some data in order to reduce its size

How can I reduce the size of a file of numbers?
I have a file that is too big to 650 MB. It is mostly text. I found 1 sheet which is "inflated". I tried to copy/paste the columns in a new file, but it ends with lines and additional columns that I copied! It seems to me that if I could have something in layers? How can I reduce the size of the file.
If it's really just the text that seems really strange. I repeat what you have already done, copy items to a tim in a new file, and then save after each copy and monitor the size of files. When you see the file size jump exceptionally fast, do NOT save the new file, and focus on the issue. What are the benefits? You paste images into a table as a background fill?
If you did and you want photos, try to reduce the size of the file by using the menu item "file > advanced > reduce file size...» » :

How can I reduce the size of the file of my jpeg files.
I'm trying to reduce the size of my original photos to download to a newspaper. I tried to do in the preview but I have not one "save under" under my list of file in the menu drop down and I don't want to change my original photos. Another thing that is happening, he just continues to work with stop until I have stop to force.
Export images of Photos first. This will create copies, leaving the originals in Photos. Then use Preview to resize them.

How do I reduce/compress size of the PDF file of the scanned document - HP Photosmart Premium
I scanned a 12 page document (with graphics very little) black and white at 150 dpi. He was still 1.68 mb. At this low dpi the degraded reviewed document - low quality. I've seen high-quality grayscale pdf whose size is very low. When I scanned it this same document in color at 300 dpi it was a wopping 8 mb, but at least the document is readable. Any suggestions on how to get a 12 page document less than 1 MB with a decent quality?
Do not change anything with resolution.
After you select Scan to PDF, click on the Advanced Option. Here, in the new window that opens at the top you can see as selected PDF. Next to the 'Options' button will be there. Click it and a cursor will appear. It will be at its maximum. If you need to move the cursor to a minimum or more like that and click OK, try parsing.
This will reduce the size of the file.

Reduce the size of a file created by "write to waveform.
Hello
I'm using labview in 2012 and I have a problem with the size of the tdms file generated by the function "write to waveform. The data is real time 16 channels in a series of X NI USB-6343 and is composed by the gains of the voltage on the y-axis with the absolute time on the x axis (waveform format). The size of the file is reached a Go command within a few hours. Is it possible to reduce the size of this file? All configurations on the component?
Thanks for the help.
Best regards
Marcelo Nobre
Yes indeed, there is a better way. Instead of using writing on file express VI measure, try adding the DAQmx logging into your task DAQmx (before starting the task):
This method writes the raw binary data unadjusted to the file (2 bytes per sample because it is a 16-bit data acquisition card) with scaling of information in the header of the file. In the example you posted, you write the data which are already put across to the file (double 8 bytes for example). What will make this change you expect to reduce your file size by ~ 4 x.
If you wish you can compress the files once you have finished writing to them for further reduction of size, but there is no support to achieve so that you are currently writing in the PDM file. In addition, you will need to unzip the file until you can access the data in the .tdms file. You can probably get good results with something as simple as the data stored in a .zip file.
Best regards

How to reduce the size of the PDF file on scanned on my PMX922 docs
I deal with a lot of documents, and I find that when I scan the docs on my MX922 the size of the PDF file is MUCH larger that the size of the original PDF file. That's what I see (on a document page 2):
(Received) original size: 11 k
Default scan (Quick Menu): 1061 k
With compression high (Quick Menu): 116 k
The Panel of the printer (res 150): 209 k
Windows scanning app (150 res): 1495 k
Scanning from the Quick Menu with high Compression seems to be the best, but it still somewhat adds to the file size. It's a big problem so I dal with many GREAT docs. Several times the size of the file increase prevents me from being able to send files. Is there anything else I can do? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi 1wwjdbro,
We can set the PDF to HIGH compression option in the utility of digitization of IJ and also select the image digitized transfer compression to reduce the file size of the PDF file. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. open the utility of scanning IJ.
2. in the Scan from Canon IJ utility window that opens, click SETTINGS... at the bottom right of the window. The settings dialog box is displayed.
3. click on the SCAN of DOCUMENT option in the left pane of the window.
4 in the right pane window, look for the box to COMPRESS SCANNED IMAGES to be TRANSFERRED in the Scan Options section and check it.
5. then, in the SAVE the SETTINGS section, find the FORMAT of DATA field and ensure that PDF or PDF (multi-page) is selected, and then click the SETTINGS button to the right of the field.
6. in the window that opens, find the COMPRESSION PDF section, then select TOP from the drop-down list. Click OK to close the window. You will be taken back to the SETTINGS window.
7. once all settings have been selected in the SETUP window, click the OK button at the bottom of the window to save the changes. The IJ Scan Utility main screen is displayed.
8. click the DOCUMENT button. Housing starts scanning. Click CANCEL to cancel the scan if necessary. The scanned images are saved to the location of the selected folder previously specified in the SETTINGS... window.
I hope this helps!

There are several ways you can reduce the size of your PowerPoint file... One that works for you depends on what you are doing to make the wide PowerPoint in the first place.

How to reduce the size of the file
I am trying to efax a file and it says the file is too large. is there a way to reduce the size of the file?
Depending on the type of file, it may be possible to compress but I don't know if it will work with an efax (but I guess it's worth a try). Here's how: http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-vista/compress-and-uncompress-a-folder-or-file-in-windows-vista/.
Another option also according to the type of file is to convert the file to a different file type which takes less space (such as the conversion of a TIFF file in a JPG file). It isn't exactly the same thing (the image quality is not quite as good, but rarely can anyone tell the difference.
Another option is to split the file into several separate files that are small enough to work and send them separately and ask the recipient to back move or treat the separate transmissions if it's just a matter of sending a few pages at a time instead of all of them at once.
These are really the only ways to resolve the problem (other than to find another e-fax provider that accepts larger files).
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

The difficulty in reducing the size of the eps file. He is currently a huge 707MB!
Hello...
I can't reduce the size of an eps file. He is currently a huge 707MB! It is a fairly simple logo of the text (which were described) and a form, both filled with a pattern "leaf" gold. I guess this is the reason (from my color chart) which causes the problem.
My client wants the eps file and I feel I have tried everything to reduce the size I could try to find out through various forums.
Hoping that someone might have a new suggestion and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
You have a ground shade using a .tif image. I have rebuilt using your forms as a mask on repeated twice the width of 360 points .tif substrates.

Do you really need .eps format, it is quite outdated and ineffective. You can try to make a .pdf file.
