Reduction of scale 4 k video 1080.

I shot a few vide0 in 4 k and my computer is having a hard time trying to run. I read somewhere that 4 k can be sized down to 1080 and then reduced to 4 k when done editing. I have it going in sequence settings after that video 4 k is in my time line. When I change the settings of the sequence up to 1920 x 1080 it zooms the way film in. Does nothing to play smoother back.

I wasn't expecting the zoom in, am I doing this right?

I want to change 4 k video in 1080 and then resize back to 4 k. Is it possible to do?

Thank you

Rchjr

This isn't the way to proceed. You are still left with 4 K clips.

You must do the editing offline

or wait for the new proxy editing in the coming new feature release.

Your source mp4 4K video is in a very processor intensive codec, scaling, it adds an extra burden that your computer may not be able to manage in real time.

Try to convert your friendly source for a codec edit clip like ProRes and then drop this clip converted on your timeline and scale it - and see if you get better results.

  • Reduction of scale 4 k to 1080 p Export

With 4 images of k now possible, many users are "downscaling" their 4 sequences of k in a timeline 1080 p to produce a cleaner result for movies 1080 p online. I created a sequence using a 4 k clips in order to carry on the parameters. Then I exported to 1080 p. I'm going to all this the right way?

The last question I have, is I noticed when I export this way there are black bars at the top and bottom of the film. Is there anyway I can get rid of this? Thank you

Here are the parameters of the sequence

Try to drop your 4 k in a sequence of new1080p and use the scale of the sequence setting on all the clips instead of use a custom setting of previews.

  • Broadcast legal levels during the reduction of scale

Someone else has problems when downscaling HD to SD content before providing them to the broadcaster.

Whenever I do my luma levels get pushed to broadcast without danger, and my place is rejected. The only solution I found is to use Resolve to any reduction of scale, this is not an ideal solution.

    I'm on a Mac Pro 5.1, using first Pro CC 2014 20141 version (Build 8.1.0 (81)).

    Workflow is the following:

    1. Change in the chronology of the HD (Apple ProRes 422 or uncompressed YUV 8 bit)
    2. Choose export-> media
    3. Export settings configuration. (Format doesn't really count. The problem has nevertheless.)
      • Format: MXF Op1a
      • Video codec: IMX 30 PAL
      • Look PAL D1/DV widescreen 16:9
      • Go to maximum depth
      • The value of the zero start timecode
      • Use the maximum Render quality

I always double check my results in ScopeBox and internal counters first. Everything looks perfect:

    Before.png

When the export is completed I check again with ScopeBox, and now the file looks like this:

    After.png

And he is dismissed because of illegal broadcasting values.

    Everyone sees the same thing?

    Best,

    Peter

Thanks to Mariusz Wawa for the following solution.

Disable "restore maximum quality" and do not use acceleration GPU Mercury engine.

This seems to solve the problem.

  • Impossible to change the scale of a video clip in Premiere Pro CC 2015

  • Photoshop CS6 does not load videos 1080 p?

Hello! I used photoshop for about three years now, but for some reason any with CS6 when I try to load a video that has a quality 1080 p or higher using the images for the layers feature (I do gifs a lot...), it displays a popup box that says "cannot complete video to layers command because the file could not be opened."

It loads any video under this fine quality.

    I use Extended CS6, on a 64-bit Windows.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop, but he always showed the same message.

    Help, please! :/

You can check the video playback in other programs? You have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer?

  • Scaling Up video 1080 p in 720 p sequence?

All my images for a project is shot in 1080 p. The final support will be delivered in 720 p. I want to change a part of the sequence (jump cut) in the sequence. What is the best way to ensure that large scale clips are at maximum image quality? Is it important if the sequence is 720 p or 1080 p? Thanks for any help.

If you clear the scale to the size of the frame for the selected clips, there is no scaling and ensure maximum quality and it seems to be enhanced, but aren't. You can then use Motion/position to get the exact image you want without loss of quality. As soon as you set the scale to 100%, you will lose quality. IY you are using less than 100% scale, you are scaling down, no more.

  • Choppy made video 1080 p in CS5

I just got a Canon HFG10 that produces 1080 p 24 video natively with AVCHD and I play with basic workflow.  I opened a clip in first Pro CS5 and then export it as h.264 1080 p 24, it seems, nothing moves.  The video that follows, however, is choppy, with a lot of dropped frames (even if everything else with it is very good, and the original video clip plays fine in Quicktime).  In Media Encoder default transmission speed is higher than the camera, so I wrote it down for match, but with no apparent improvement.  If I export to 720 p, all is well.  Are there other configuration settings, that I should be adjusted?  I use the 64-bit version of CS5 on Win7 x 64 on a Core i7 970 (six cores, 12 threads) with 12 GB of RAM, dedicated scratch disk, SSD for apps and 10 K rpm HARD drive for data.  Thank you.

    Ok.

How are you viewing the export?

  • What Pr items to the reduction of scale?

I spend all my time with the help of body/yet so I have not the pleasure of hanging out here a lot.   But my son has a HDV camcorder and wants to make regular SD 16:9 DVD (it doesn't have a burner of blur radius)

My question is; How is Pr of the elements to the content downscaling HDV to SD card?    Unfortunately the BODY isn't good at home.  There is a new option in CS4 that allows the ORGANIZATION to do a better job, but it is still not as good as some solutions third 3rd in the HD to SD scale.

Then; Love to ID to hear your experience in doing this in the elements.  I'd like to recommend for my son, who wants to just change a few home movies down to SD DVD.

Premiere Elements is not much better than Pro to the HDV downsampling. Indeed, on a less powerful computer, he can choke.

On the other hand, if you capture your HDV to DV - AVI (DV standard), you should have no problem in editing and the standard DVD release.

Just value your camcorder DV Lock and, when it captures, the camcorder will do an excellent job of downsampling your superb DV video.

  • The reduction of scale

Hello, I spent much of my time to combing threw 8 hours of sequences in drone of my vacation. Images of the drone located be in 4 k: /, I'd like to add 1080 p images to this project but I do not know how. Is it possible to reduce my project to 1080 so that my shots of drone and all my other images would be the same thing?

    You have placed the 4 shots on a timeline k 4 k?

Reproduce the sequence. then, working on the copied sequence:

By changing the settings of the sequence to change the sequence up to 1920 x 1080.

If your 4 k clips now all expect extended, and then click anywhere in the timeline panel and type the command (command) + A to select all clips.

Right-click on one of the selected clips and in the menu select "Set to Frame Size".

You should now have a 1080 p to your sequence of k 4 previous version and should be able to drop 1080 p images in the timeline without scaling.

  • Simple reduction of scale for different banners sizes?

    Hello

I'm pretty new on board, but I'm doing a few banners for the Google Display network.

    I made a banner with 336 x 280 pixels, now I want to make the same banner 300 x 250 pixels.

With Flash, I used with the right button of the scene, to change the dimensions of the stage and check the "content scale" and my banner would do in an instant.

Is there some sort of easy tool on Board that allows it so? I can't convert the other banner formats.

    Thanks in advance!

    Guido

If you work with '%' instead of using "px" for of all the element size and position, with the exception of the scene which dimensions must be in 'px', then if you change the size of the scene at any size you want, then everything will reduce/top of the range automatically.

I'm trying to reduce the share of a drawing of 2 pt to pt 1.5 and it is not letting me, but only on the 2 parts of the drawing. The rest of the drawing's STROKE 1.5 pt on illustrator. So everything is very well and allow me to use 1.5, but these 2 blue parties will use only whole numbers, 1 or 2 pt.Screen Shot 2016-06-14 at 14.38.06.png
