Reduction of the noise (white noise) synthesizer

Hey,.

I was wondering if someone could help me to reduce my sample of synthesizer noise: Black Sun, found in [synthesizer > soundscape > Black Sun]

I feel that I can not change it for a reason because I tried different methods of noise reduction, some of them include:

* Modify the 'smart controls' and EQ.

It was frustrating to watch YouTube videos a lot of different methods, because they seemed to all have a similar solution that would solve the question of a recording (voice / instrument). I just used this sample that I put in place in the section of piano with a few midi controllers roll (iRigs Drumpad, Axiom 25 and Korg nano key 2)

I'm willing to start any suggestions that anyone might have for me.

This is a link to the example I created; You can hear this noise I described https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npYBQlO7sXo

Thanks for the help.

I'm running Logic Pro X, using a MacBook Pro 9.2. OS X 10.11.3 (15 D 21)

Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz. 4 GB memory, 500 GB of storage.

In black noise Sun patch is pre-programmed by the designer of this noise and is generated by the Bitcrusher plugin. You can remove it, or play with Bitcrusher settings to get what you like.

I must say first that I'm not particularly has experience with Lab View, but I received a 'project' which requires me to jump quickly.  I have a summer to a drilling company and they use an ultrasonic transducer to get readings of thickness of wall quite thin stock which is of the order of diametre.5.  Wall thickness typical they need to read on is of the order du.1 a.08.  The problem is that the stock is often long and so that almost everything has been done to mitigate the vibration it remains considerable during the passage of a reading which becomes registration in a program of .vi labview.  It would be easy if the drilling could not stop to get a reading, but this isn't an option.  As such, it can be difficult to get an accurate wall reading when there is considerable noise.  Is there a place that someone could point me towards in terms of filtering on the tips, so that maybe I could something more similar to a sine wave instead of the Jungfrau?  I thought from a technical point of view there must be some sort of analysis to show incoming signals, which allows the best editing line to draw or something in that sense to smooth things and make it easier for technicians locate thin or thick areas.  Thanks for any help.  Sam

  • The noise reduction does not work in Lightroom CC

I have Lightroom CC with the most recent version installed as of May 17, 2016.  For some reason, the noise reduction slider doesn't do anything on any image.  Even at 100%, I can tell zero difference in the image.  Y at - it a bug that happens here or I do something wrong?  I use the same camera and image settings I have for more than 2 years.  Nothing has changed that I know.  Any ideas?

    Hi jeffb,.

I tried the same thing at my end and I can change the Luminance, detail, and contrast of the image. I use WIndows 10

Please check the picture you're working on doesn't fail, you can also try resetting that default return Lightroom preferences.

Press the shift + option keys immediately after you restart Lightroom and select Preferences reset in the dialog box.

    Kind regards

  • I can't find anything in the manual that explains how the instant noise print settings in the noise reduction effect.

I am a Pr/Ae user, not an expert in hearing.  I face an excerpt of interview with excessive noise HVAC air movement. I watched the tutorials and read the manual, I see nothing about this setting - noise Print Snapshots. (in the noise reduction) What is the difference in the output of different numbers and why?

I'm also surprised to see if I'm doing the same NR twice on a clip (done by chance) really works better, without much in the way of artifacts.

I'm trying to reduce the number of variables I have try different combinations.

    Thank you.

Regarding the size of snapshot FFT - well, it is not easy to explain without going in the works of the FFT, and is not exactly notions... the best explanation of what the differences are is probably this one:

Techniques of the noise reduction for Adobe Audition CC

What it does not say on this page, that's what we discovered collectively using NR - and is that the best way to apply it is indeed in the stadiums-, but with a different size of the FFT for each one and not too wide in a go. You will get inevitably less artifacts of higher values, but they do not so well on the lower frequencies, so to a certain extent, it must analyze your noise; with CVC, you won't need the lowest setting, unless there are a lot of very low frequency "rumble" in the sound, and it is fairly consistent.

  • The noise reduction works only on MAC Lightroom 5.4

I knew that the noise reduction that I apply to my photos is visible in the area of software development. I'm going to the library he disappears and the same thing happen if I export the image in any format.

I post a screenshot where you can see an example of image with the desired noise reduction applied (right) and the same pictures, as he shows in the field of the library (left). Switching between the two areas (library and develop) results as a toggle of noise reduction.

Is there a way to fix this bug?

    Thank you.

View generally develop - Fit is more crisp than the library or export, when there was enough noise reduction added to an image to give the impression of sweetness, and people complain that sharpening is not applied; However, in this situation through extreme noise reduction settings, an artificial coarse replaced fine-grained noise that seems to manifest itself differently according to develop Fit, and the complaint is that the library has no NR applied.

More in detail, there are two questions here, both to the user, LR:

    (1) a user-hope that the No 1:1 to the point zoom is specific about the detailed settings.  It is not the case.  Years, there has been a warning of exclamation point on the detail settings section that says see things only to 1:1.  If a user doesn't see or ignores this warning and then their expectation wrong, as in this situation.

    (2) the detail of Luminance Noise reduction slider has been increased from the default value of 50 up to 100.  This has the effect of converting the sound of grain in an angular course texture, which is easily visible in reduced size except in the view to develop was inaccurate.

In the next-by-side to zoom 1:1, the left panel is according to the user settings with the Lum-NR-Detail slider to 100, while the right has the cursor Lum-NR-detail set at the default value of 50, with all other parameters of the user remains the same:

I would summarize what happens not as a bug but a different response from the develop-adjustment incorrect attended a different coarseness of the noise which is caused by an extreme environment of the Lum-NR-detail slider.  Since there is no resizing and not sharpness in export settings, I don't think that 1/3 bug has nothing to do with anything.

It would be nice for the original poster (OP) to describe exactly what is wrong, after knowing the view to develop it is accurate if not seen at the 1:1.

  • How to prevent echo over the noise reduction

I had a dickens of a time trying to find how to reduce the echo that remains after the removal of the background noise. However, I do not give to the top and after playing with some of the settings, I believe that I thought about it! I use Adobe Audition CC (6.0). You'll want to follow the steps below as a means of noise reduction, not after it. So we prevent the echo over the noise removal, do not get rid of it... if that makes sense. Then, start with your original audio with noise, then...

    1. Perform normal selection of background noise and sampling procedures, it (SHIFT + P)
    2. Select all audio data (CTRL + A).
    3. Prepare to apply the noise reduction: Effects > restoration/noise reduction > noise (process) or CTRL + SHIFT + P
    4. In the window that appears, I played a bit with the three parameters (see image below):
      • (85%) noise reduction slider
      • Reduce by slider (approximately 40 dB)
      • In the "Advanced" section (you may need to click on the small triangle/arrow to decompress), the spectral decomposition rate (10%). It is this final setting that makes a HUGE difference!
    5. Put audio on the loop if it is a small clip and click the play button to hear a sample of the noise reduction applied.
    6. Adjust the three above mentioned settings until you get the desired effect.
    7. Click 'apply '.

    I hope that helps!

Can I make a suggestion?  Although you're experiences were useful, trying to find a unique size of the entire solution "one pass" probably doesn't give the best results.  Basically, if you hear NR artifacts (the quality that you are referring to) any point you made too much noise reduction only once.

As a general rule, you're better off doing 3 or 4 passes the very slight noise reduction, entering a new sample of noise each time.  For most 'normal' noise, it can also be very useful to increase the size of the FFT (in the Advanced menu) a parameter preset or so before grabbing each of these sequential noise samples.

  • The noise reduction for sequences?

    Hello.
I'm working on a short film project, and I edit in Premiere CS6. Now, there is the noise of a fan in all the clips and I want to get rid of it and I know how do it with a single element in the hearing, but that would take forever to do with the entire sequence. And I don't want to use adaptive noise reduction where you cannot capture impressions of noise. So is there a faster way to use the reduction of noise for a complete sequence of hearing? Maybe add the noise reduction in the multitrack or something? Please help me!

    Sorry, it does not exist.

The normal process here is to treat all the dodgy audio before mix you - it gets above the level of displacement issues, is generally a much more satisfactory way of procedure. Noise reduction is a process and it can if applied to a single file at a time - you can not use it in multitrack.

  • Adjustment with exposure adjustment brush cancels the noise reduction

    Hello

I just noticed the following problem:

    (1) camera Raw 6.5; Bridge CS5 (4.0.5.11); Mac OS X 10.6.8; Mac Pro 3.1; Dual Quad-Core Xeon; 8 GB OF RAM.

    (2) start with a loud raw file (mine is a Canon 5 d II).

    (3) apply to noise reduction (luminance: 30;) Detail of the Lum: 75; Lum contrast: 0; Color: 25; Color detail: 50).

    4) go to the adjustment brush and set a nonzero exposure value.

    (5) apply the brush to the image and notice the effects of the noise reduction to disappear (noise returns).

    6) click clear all button to clear the adjustment brush and the noise reduction works again.

This seems to happen only with brushes of adjustment with a nonzero exposure value (application of brightness or other settings do not seem to produce the problem).

    Anyone else seeing this?

    Thank you!

There are a few known issues with the exposure setting local leading to overall appearance of the image changes, especially in the highlights.  The problem with the noise should already resolved with the ACR 6.6 release candidate (RC), currently available.

  • The noise removed, now Audio is melodious

Can I counter audio snoring? Once I removed the noise from the Hall, the moment sound of chirping voice through a bad telephone connection. I downloaded videos from before and after the noise reduction.

    Before:

    After:

I'm afraid that you have rather exaggerated it...

You would be better off removing noise is going smaller, to use a different size of the FFT for each passage, with reduction under each. With this kind of the base level, you will be much better served by using the highest size FFT it is for most of it, but it should also be a collar with a setting of low and medium. Also, don't forget that it's called noise reduction, not removal. Saw a small amount of noise actually remaining with the signal tends to hide many of the murmur and usually other more 'realistic' sound signals, if you wish.

  • A way to be precise with the noise removal filter

Hello! as the title says, I need to learn a method to apply this adjustment only to the tip inside areas of an image. as I'm sure you know, the filter options remove noise will do the job at the expense of the loss of sharpness if necessary. remove the most noise, lose clarity. It's a blur, actually. so, how can I quickly and accurately make a selection of the only areas of detail/edge of the image (the time factor is especially important if your dealing with a pretty complex picture with many lines - my case, actually)?

With an image like this, I and just create a new layer with the noise reduction. Then, I use the brush on a mask tool to remove sections of the line of the layer with the noise reduction. It's easy with this, because they are all straight lines, and you can click the top of the line with the Brush tool, shift click down the line to have a very straight and precise line on your mask.

  • Voice speaker Conversation, bothered by the noise of backup saved

    Hello

I'm stuck. In the past I could delete very difficult background noise with hearing tools. In this example, I am unable to remove the noise enough to make listenable voice. I used spectral to isolate noise - without success. A strict limit started promising however once I've sampled noise and have used the noise reduction, the results were undesirable.

Please let know us if there's a cure using the tools available in hearing CS6.

    Thank you!

Back to noise reduction (process) but this time, instead of trying to do everything at once, make four or five minor passes.

Set the size of the FFT (in the Advanced menu) to 2048 and grasp an impression of noise from a deficit of "silence."  Select the class together and reduce to 7 or 8 dB and 15% off ish.  Configure the size of the FFT to the next, get a new noise print and make another pass with the same low parameters.  Continue, making every time the size of the FFT.

You it'll never be perfect, but you should greatly reduce the noise without any visible artifacts.

Then you might want to try little slight voice compression to equalize the level - but should be considered with caution because it may cause any residual noise to 'pump '.

    Good luck.

  • Classroom in a book - CS4 - Lesson 6 - cannot get rid of the noise

I'm on Lesson 6 version CS4 classroom in a book. I worked on the image with the mother and child, but I can't seem to get rid of the noise in the mountains and the sky. They look very grainy. I've followed all the steps exactly and even went through screen shots to see if any setting have been changed which may not have been mentioned. I compared my version to the version 'End' and they seem very different. The mountains and the look of the sky much better in the "End" version, although the mother and child look more exposed. On mine, the people look much more sharp, but the noise in the mountains is terrible and the sky is also quite grainy.  I redid this part of the lesson about 6 times, four times on my PC and twice on a MAC, but the results are always the same.  The sharpness which lesson you do at the end, while improving certain parts, the granulation in the worst of the sky and the mountains.

This has been very frustrating.  Clearly something more was done with the image of 'End', which was not in the lesson.  Even if people, in my opinion, look better in my finished version, the mountains and the sky look terrible, and the background was the entire point of the lesson. Does anyone have ideas, what has been done to make the smooth background to the image of 'end '?

I dug my copy of PS CS4 classroom in a book and went through the same lesson to see what results I got.  I can confirm that the noise reduction is not optimal.  See the example in the picture 'after ':

Compare with the results of a 3rd party plugin noise reduction (in this case Topaz Denoise) using a standard preset:

This version needs a bit of sharpening is to the people.

In doing this exercise that I was reminded why I dislike the Classroom in a Book series.  It makes you go through the steps like a zombie, tell you what value to enter in each field, but it does not often do the fields. Certainly, as a reader, you are free to experiment, but which do not encourage lessons. And the fact that the results do not always match the book and readers are disappointed when the results do not confirm my opinion that the book is not encourage experimentation.  Perhaps a further reduction of noise was made for each channel in the Advanced setting of section.as described in the box of Lesson 6.

  • Satellite L500 and the noise of the fan

Last week, I bought a new laptop Satellite L 500 with Inter i3 processor, 1 GB, 4 GB of ram ATI graphics card, etc.
Everything is OK in general, however, I think the fan is very noisy.

I used to own a HP Pavilion laptop and could hardly notice the fan while with my new laptop, the noise of the fan is really loud.
Does anyone know if this is normal or if it could be fixed somehow?

I did some internet research for a solution, but I couldn't find anything, and apparently nobody complains noise from the fan on L 500 computers portable so maybe it's only me that have this problem?

    Thank you.
