Reference Dell 3115 scan to computer on the network

So we have a 3115cn configured to analyze 10 different computers via SMB. Scanning features has been uneven at best (because of certain parameters mainly) before I completely deleted the address book and started on. I put all using port 139 and the username password / activated, etc. set up to scan to a shared folder called "SCAN" directly to the root of the hard drive. This worked great for a month or two. The only complaint was a user occasionally (like every two weeks) got an SMB error (I've never seen the code or I would include it), asking him to turn off its network card and turn it back on and it would be solved. This morning, to try to resolve this nuisance, I changed a few settings and viola! the error changed. I stopped to make a mistake SMB/FTP and login error 016-782. I have recently, in an effort to organization, changed all the computer names and IP addresses of these computers, so I was afraid that I had broken the scan for all ten machines feature (even if I changed the IP on the scanner address book addresses; believe me, I double and triple checked these, they are correct). I've tested everybody, and 3 out of 10 are coming with the error 016-782, so it's really unlikely that it's because of my changes to IP/ComputerName.

I noticed on one of the 3 computers shared settings common "SCAN" of the case had changed, so I changed them back, and I found once more a massive success in the shape to change the error message. Now, always get a connection error, the error read: 016-783. User names, passwords, and IPs are all correct on 3 computers that cannot scan, and all the settings are exactly the same as the other 7 machines. I tried to disable the antivirus without success, and, similarly, all 10 computers use the same antivirus with the exact same parameters. At this point, I see absolutely no reason for these 3 should be impossible to scan when the other 7 work very well. All of the suggestions that I have not already tried? I also tried deleting entries in the directory 3 individual addresses and recreate them from scratch.

OK, probably should not have taken the trouble this announcement on these forums, because I already managed to fix it myself. For anyone with a similar problem, I was able to solve the problem by removing the 'SCAN' folder on the computers in question, it recreates with the same exact parameters, and it works now. Judging by the wealth of messages on the 3115cn network scanning problems, it seems that it is just a machine glitchy requiring sometimes absurd solutions...
