Reference Dell V715W is printing very slow

I recently installed the Dell V715W printer it installed ok and print ok, unless you want to print anything that has all the graphics on it... He takes seriously until 5 minutes to print one or two pages.  If you want to print just a word with text document, it prints quickly.  Any ideas on why printing is so slow?  I am running Windows 7 64 bit

A few thoughts more...
-would be good if you could test it with another wireless router in exclude
-with certain printers, there is an option to basically 'print as image' (makes a huge difference when we had a similar problem with PDF - totally different Scenario however).

Hi I have a Dell v715w which stops printing after printing 1 job.  I mean it prints 1 whole work and then 5 minutes later if you are going to print anything else nothing happens.

I have to remove all the dle *. * process, stop the spooler service, and then restart the spooler service for and then restart the print job.

    Any ideas?  Help?

This becomes quite painful when you want to print more than one thing at a time.

  • Reference Dell T610 PERC 6i - very slow RAID rebuild

Hi all, I have a DELL T610 with a Controller PERC 6i with 4 x 1 TB SAS 7.2 K disks configured as a RAID6. 1 of the drives has failed, I installed the new drive, but reconstruction is only 44% after 36hrs! Why is it so slow? Any ideas would be greatly accepted.

RAID 6 is well known for its performance of poor\slow. This is the only function is to be safer than RAID 5, not to be fast and cheap.  With parity RAID, to rebuild the whole picture.  They have been known to go for a week or more before they are finished, according to the size and speed of players.

My Dell V715w AIO printer worked well in Window 7 64 bit as well as 64-bit Windows 8 Preview of consumer.

Why it is no longer supported under window 8 Pro?
    Workaround solution-
Run Setup.exe in the folder of Dell which excerpts from Installer (C:\DELL\drivers\V715w) using "Troubleshoot compatibility".
Choose: "troubleshooting program"-> "the program worked in an earlier version of Windows"-> "Windows 7"

  • DeskJet 2544: hp deskjet 2544 suddenly prints very slow but quickly copies

I have had this printer for about 6 months.  Things were very good.  Recently, it started very slow printing.  I read it could be weak cartridges so even if they had both ink, I replaced the.  I have nothing but HP used since the beginning. I noticed that she copy quickly, but print very, very slowly.  Any suggestions? It has been connected wireless but I stopped that and we hung usb thinking that was the issue.  But no. I should add it is connected to a Dell AIO

    Hello @sues2015!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I should be able to provide suggestions!  I can see that over time your printer running slowly when printing from the computer wireless or USB connected.  If the printer is capable of performing a photo copy at normal speeds and then indicating that the equipment is working correctly and you are probably looking to a software problem in the computer.  Also if the printer is having the same problem USB or wireless connected pointing more fingers to the software.

The first thing I recommend is to uninstall the HP software. Once the uninstall is complete, it would be wise to perform a cleanup of the computer disk. A disk cleanup will improve the performance of the computer and remove the temporary files that may cause problems during the installation of the software. Once disk cleanup you must restart the computer and reinstall the HP software.

To uninstall the HP software, click here: uninstall the HP software

To perform a disk cleanup, click here: perform a disk cleanup

To download the HP software, click here: HP Deskjet 2540 all-in-One Printer series full feature software and drivers

If please, after back and let me know how everything goes.

  • My printer prints very slow

I have a Deskjet 6940. It had been printing very quickly, but is now barely mobile. I don't know if something has changed in my system or what. I even rebooted the SW. I have it configured for Fast project but it chugs along. Not at all as if it were before.

I need help because I print every day a lot and need to print quickly.

    Thank you.

The printer print a Windrow, then wait 10 to 15 seconds before the next swath?  If so, then one of the cartridges may have failed.  To troubleshoot this remove cartridges and try to print reserve mode.  If this prints to the near normal speeds then the cartridge you removed must be replaced.  If the printer is still very slow, and then replace the original cartridge and remove the cartridge on the other.  If it prints at a normal speed, then the cartridge that you deleted now is at fault.

(Note: when printing text in view of reserve with a cartridge installed color printing will be a little slower than normal, but not very slow.)

  • Reference Dell v715w don't stay connected

I have a Dell v715w printer.  Whenever I need it, it is not connected and I got to the point where to use it, I have to take my computer to it and connect with USB.  This is ridiculous - I bought a printer capable / wireless network so I wouldn't have to do it.

My HP wireless all in one doesn't have this problem.  When I click on print - prints.  When I click on Scan, it scans.

My Dell, on the other hand, can be found on the network, cannot find my computer when I want to scan, etc.  Whenever I want to use!  How can I fix it?  If this computer will work as announced, then when I try to access the device, I should be able to access the device.  I wouldn't have to restart my computer, restart the printer and have always then connect the printer to the computer via the USB cable.

    Thank you

    Jennifer

I found a solution somewhere else suggested past to Device Manager and disable the option "Power Off" on the tab power management for Wi - Fi device under the heading network.  I'll try and see if it works.  I will present what I find.

    Steps to follow:

    (1) open device - control panel, system, Device Manager management

    2) click on the + sign by network to display the network hardware

    (3) make a right-click the wireless adapter and select Properties

    (4) open the power management tab, and uncheck the option "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power".

It will be nice if it works, but I still don't understand why I have to do for my Dell, but not for my HP All In One.  Sounds like a faulty design for me.

  • DeskJet 3700: DeskJet 3700 prints very slow

    Hey everybody,

I just installed my 3700 DesktJet on my 10 Windows PC and it seems to print really slow. Any idea?

    Thank you

    Bill

    Hello

I have experienced this problem myself.

There are a few things you can try

    1. Check the type of default paper for the printer, go to settings, click on the print properties and make sure the paper type is plain paper
    2. Run windows update to ensure that you have the latest version of the printer driver.
    3. Take a look at this document (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05272556)

    I hope this helps

  • Reference Dell aio 962 printer suddenly stops and flashes "left cartridge incorrect".

While the printer is working correctly, all of a sudden for no reason apparent stops and flashes "LEFT CARTRIDGE INCORRECTE. All attempts to address this problem have failed. Use the cartridge Dell XL Black series 5. Another cartridge change has no effect.

Please advise as soon as POSSIBLE.

Contact Dell, as the printer indicates a kind of hardware failure, it will not be a Windows fix for it.  Go to Dell web and some pilots and support, enter your printer model number and go from there.

Hello - I bought a M201dw Pro Laserjet is approximately 3 months.  I just change the original cartridge as an idea of how much/little it has been used. It has worked well for 3 months but started printing very slowly, or not at all with in the last few days.  It is not a network printer, it is directly connected to my PC.

    Thanks for any help,

    Hello

Try going into the service of the printer menu and changing the USB high speed to full

The printer will restart and will have the best speed for the connection

So, make sure the USB under 6 ft s and s a direct connection print and PC (without REPEATER MULTIPORT USB or something similar)

  • Reference Dell V310 W printer malfunction

My Dell V310 series printer prints 1 document "job" perfectly, regardless of the number of pages. But it will not print the next job. The document will be displayed in the queue with a status of "impression". When I try to delete the document, it reports "deletion", but the document remains in the print queue. If I restart the computer the document is no longer in the queue and if I select the document again it will print. But I cannot print another document, unless I restart the computer. Putting off the printer and has no effect. My computer is a Dell Studio XPS 9100 running Windows 7 and is connected to the printer via wireless LAN. I tried this on Dell laptop my wife also running Windows 7 with the same results. The printer reports that has the current drivers and firmware. I spent a lot of time today reload the printer and connect to the local network without success. The fact that it prints the first "work" perfectly and the printer sounds like its going to print the next job but 'hold' is above my pay grade to fix. Appreciate any help. WEarp

    WEarp,

In the batch of December of Windows updates, Microsoft has installed Internet Explorer 11. IE11 caused printer problems.

Open Internet Explorer, click on help, then click about words of Internet Explorer. It should show the version here. If you IE11, then go to control panel, Windows Update, updates installed, look for Internet Explorer 11. Click Internet Explorer 11, uninstall.

Restart the computer when you are prompted. Then see if your printer works.

  • Reference Dell 3100cn Laser Printer

I have a Dell 3100cn laser printer. I have a little problem, and hoping someone can help? When I print anything Black, it's perfect... But then I print what either with COLOR and it is spread, even when I print things black and color, the perfect black, the color of coating... Any help is appreciated...

    Hello TORT,

I answered many of these questions on my previous post, but developers are part of the printing process and are attached to the carousel. Each color is individual, so a color can still be ok when others are affected. I always have in my recommendation to replace the unit based on the age and complexity of the repair required.
