Reformat C: with HP Advisor...
Hi guys,.
I need help.
Acted for about three months when I bought this bad boy stage monitors were not working, and Windows 7 kept gel etc. A geek came round to HP to fix - first he tried restoring the system which does not-Microsoft wound't just let him do. It came with errors of all kinds.
Anyway, it was finally fixed in HP Advisor reformatting C: (I think).
My computer plays completely upwards. All kinds of strange things are happening, things doesn't work etc and I decided I should do another format.
I searched the entire internet on how to format C via HP Advisor or something similar and have had no luck - any help from you guys would be much appreciated. I know that I do not need a disc, because I remember the techie, it immediately!
Huge thanks to the advanced guys - all help is very appreciated!
Brown.
Keep the key F11 immediately after power starting in the HP Recovery Manager. It should also be shortcut in your Start Menu for it. Just click on start and then start typing HP Recovery in the search box, it should appear in the list to select.
Read here > Using HP Recovery Manager in Windows 7
BTW, it would be a good idea to put recovery, too.

I was struck with 6 Trojan horses this week, and although they have been kidnapped, they did to my drive hard and thus damage a wipe and reinstall is my only option.
My current version is up-to-date, my CD needs to be used as CD de BOOT, but when I try this it does NOT ask me for a reinstallation or cleaning! and instead just connect to as usual though he certainly started from the CD. I built this PC from scratch and have never had this problem before when upgrading.
I can't also to the command prompt without being already connected and therefore the ability to reformat the hard drive is not available.
Any help with the above emergency would be appreciated.

Help with EasyLink Advisor for WRT54GS
OK, when I try to make it appear the EasyLink Advisor to my router it says need administrator privileges, and then under that it says that you must be logged on as a user with administrator privileges to change the configuration of the computer for home networks. The thing is, though, that I'm logged on as administrator. I've never had this message before. I learned about the EasyLink Advisor repeatedly to find the IP address and other things so I can connect my Xbox, iPod Touch wifi and stuff like that. But now it doesn't let me do anything. I used to have Windows Vista on my computer, but then I upgraded to Windows 7 and I think this is the problem because it started to happen after I upgraded. Help!
Yes easy Link Advisor is not supported on Windows 7. You don't need it anyway. Just connect to 192.168.1.1 with empty user name, admin password and check the router itself.

Video card driver displays an error message after reformatting computer with Vista
I reformatted my computer using windows vista and I kept getting an answer that the used copy was an illegal copy of windows. In the meantime my computer was working fine. I called Microsoft and they verified that it was not an illegal copy and gave me an additional code to activate windows. After activation, my image of the screen became smaller with a border of 1 inch black around the screen (I have a widescreen monitor). I tried to correct this problem and have discovered that my video card driver has an error message saying that windows has stopped this device because it has reported a problem. I tried to reinstall the latest version of the driver, update to windows vista and tried all the suggestions that have been proposed on the microsoft Web site, and it still doesn't work. I reinstalled everything again with the same problem. Can you please help me solve this problem. Thank you.

Laptop computer reformat HD with desktop backup files
So I wanted to reformat my laptop for quite awhile, but don't want to shell out the cash for a new operating system. Or that I want to use the system recovery/backup of the laptop, I'd start rather cool. So, I was wondering if I was able to save the HD on my HP desktop computer to reformat my laptop. I called HP support and asked them, and I was told that this was not possible, although the technology was not clear enough. Both are Vista, even if it is a 64-bit and the other is a 32-bit
So, is it possible and if not, why not?
In addition, as a question, is possible to ONLY backup files Vista basic and lose all the rest?
No, without having to install a retail copy, you would be unable to do a cleaning. You will need to use the recovery media. Keep in mind that the operating system should turn on and so with the right combo of software OEM and OEM key on the bottom of the unit.

Hello world:
IM using a 11.1.0.6.0 database running on RHEL 5.
When I use OEM to execute SQL on a SQL advisor sometimes it shows:
Is el perfil SQL "SYS_SQLPROF_014bb22810410002" para esta sentencia there is ha much durante el proceso of adjusts.
Translation: there is a SQL profile "SYS_SQLPROF_014bb22810410002" for this statement and it was ignored during the adjustment process.
what it means? The "SYS_SQLPROF_014bb22810410002" is worse than him actually?
Thank youuser13748341 wrote:
So if the SQL Advisor ignore a profile is because it's worse in fact, right?# The idea of a profile is to correct how the optimizer deals with statistics. Since the reason comes from the shortcomings in the way that statistics tell the optimizer the best thing to do, the Advisor attempts to use additional information to identify gaps. The information may or may not be generally true, so it could be better or worse. The hypothesis is more recent and more information is better, but with changing circumstances and still other deficiencies, it must be the judge. If the new profile is better, fine. If this isn't the case, it's very well also. There may be situations where either is better, too.

Need help with the Advisor Windows 7
I have a Dell Dimension 9100 runnings XP sp3. The Advisor gives me the following warnings:
Version of Messenger 4.7.03001 has known problems
Should I update? The link only takes me to the Microsoft Web site.
CyberLink PowerDVD 5.0 - paid made available
The link takes me to the Cyberlink Web site. Is a required upgrade?
GTK + runtime environment 2.1.14 - made available
Is a required update? The link takes me to the Web site of GTK, but we don't know what to download.
Thank you very much. Any help will be greatly appreciated
AS83
You don't have to worry about Messenger. This is just a warning. Messenger is no longer part of Windows 7.
Regarding PowerDVD, if you do not want to pay for the upgrade, you don't need to. You can download VLC, a free multimedia player that can read DVDs and works on Windows 7.
And finally, for the environment GTK + runtime, some program requires it will reinstall it when you install your applications under Windows 7. I wouldn't worry.

How to reformat vmfs with remote CLI?
I need to reformat my ESXi server to use a block of 4 MB (VMFS). Can anyone tell me the command to do this in the remote CLI?
If you need an example look at the previous comment.
Under Windows, the location of vmkfstools.pl is not available in the default path, you need to use the full path or the cd to C:\Program Files\VMware\...\perl (should be something like VI CLI, I have not installed so I don't know what is the file, but you should be able to determine the directory)
Update: Try here: C:\Program VMware VI Remote CLI\Perl

change your product key to the one on your COA.Click Start, type slui 3, press on enter.before reformat, I used belarc advisor to get the product key. can barely read the print in the contract of affreightment
This key will not work. You must use one on the certificate of authenticity.
Option 1:
If the COA sticker is damaged, you must use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to use the product key to activate your installation of Windows 7.
Option 2:
If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.
Option 3:
If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.

First time posting here, please bear with me. I have a HP Pavilion computer purchased p6537c there are about 2 1/2 years. I think it came with HP Advisor installed. Recently I started having a few problems... to receive messages from HPSF.exe and to try to solve these problems, I somehow accidentally uninstalled my HP Advisor and my HP Support Assistant while trying to solve the problem with HPSF.exe. Could reinstall Support Assistant (still awaiting to see if the problems with HPSF.exe reactivating) but were unable to reinstall HP Advisor. Sought after 12 hrs of web to the best of my ability in the past and can't seem to find a relevant solution, short perhaps restore computer to a factory State with my restore disks. I hesitate to do so. Seems that since the program was installed in the factory and is specific to the model, it is not a download available online? Any ideas as to how I could solve this problem before you do a restore full? I have daily backups with Microsoft Backup and an external hard drive restore program but I believe only one backup of my data files, not programs (correct?). Just to be on the safe side, I disabled the scheduled backup, which reportedly took place last night if she is still on the calendar.
Hello
You are welcome
The same version of HP Advisor will install in several models, but there is a version listed for your specific machine here.
Still, if you find a problem with the loading of the Web page, the installation program can be downloaded directly from the following link.
HP Advisor update install - p6537c.
You should always restart the PC once the installation is complete.

How to reformat Satellite C660?
Hi all
My C660 is just over a year & slowdown etc, I thought I'd reformat it with the 4 discs recovery I did when I got it, the problem is, for some time now, the cd/dvd drive does not start as soon as a disc is inserted, & I have to open it manually. In any case, I put the first disc of recovery in & as usual nothing happened, I'm going to 'My Computer' & open from there thinking it would start to do what its supposed to, he did nothing but open & view what's on the disc :-(
How do I get it to work so I can go through the other 4 disks & redo my lappie like new?
Start your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu.
When the boot menu appears on the display open optical drive and put the first disc inside.
Choose the CD/DVD drive on the list and press ENTER.ODD will start to read the data stored on the disk and recovery facility should begin. It starts with the main menu.
How it looks like you can see on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R01.htm
Just follow the menu and proceed with the installation. If you have any other questions you are welcome.

"Minor"? Failure in HP Advisor setting/reading?
I've owned a Pavilion laptop for about ten months of use of light trucks; and so far, zero problem. I get a "message" type when I open HP Advisor and dashboard then PC. To the top right of the screen, the cell extended battery is capable of holding the load and seems not to work normally, but... When I run the HP Battery Check application I get a failure ID 60E7U1-51J5AP-XD7U21-C09E03... I also tried this on normal with the same results battery and two others near new drum sets that seem to be working on other laptops...
I don't get any additional computer problems sort or codes for the system error. Based on the above facts, it would seem that it could be: a problem of software with HP Advisor, another hardware issue inside the laptop or a charging problem - which doesn't seem to be the case all batteries, works very well.
One last question... Is - this political HP will have to hold a collateral type of credit card or deposit on a warranty item when it is not due to the fault of the consumer?
Any other ideas?
Doesn't seem to work, but I thank you for the ideas...
I'll go the route of: completely back up every shred of data, and then delete all the HP programs , as it appears as if the HP software is at fault. Both the number never correspond with the windows icon tray lower right; and now I get three different version of battery error codes.
Yet, the two batteries seem to be good and also wok fine on other laptops, that they are aligned with the rest of the computer seems to be fine
I am very disappointed by what seems to be the HP policy who need guarantees for an idea of the tech wanted to do--a kind of battery.
